Hey folks,
I heard months ago that Cortana (Voice Assistant for windows 10) came to Android and its working in India. So I wanted to try that on my device.
I tried most of the versions from Apk mirror.

The apks are installing Successfully and App is recognizing my commands very well.
But it is not responding to my commands. its just rotating and rotating (Thinking or something_)
I live in India and my device is running Android 6.0.1
I set the location to United States and language to English
can anybody please help me find the working apk or any work around for that to work.

Good day to you ladies and gentlemen. I will get straight to the point:
I recently purchased a Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 (GT-P5210) in China, and it comes with no Google Play.
I have tried installing the apks for Google Services Framework and Google Play, but as soon as I try to add my Google account (as requested by Google Play on first run), I get the "Unable to establish a reliable connection" to Google servers error. If I try to create an account from the settings panel, the settings program stops working. Google Services Framework also likes to crash seemingly at random.
I have tried getting a western firmware into it, but since I do not have a Windows box, and I haven't been able to get Odin to work on Virtual Box, no such luck. Heimdall doesn't seem to properly communicate with the tablet. Is there a way to do "Odin work" with adb and company?
So that's two questions, but what I would really like to ask is: what are my options? I just want my Google Play account on this beautiful tablet.
On a related note, how is the work on rooting the GT-P5210 coming along? Is there anything I can do to help? I have experience as a developer in general (not Android specific though), and I would be glad to help.

EDIT: I also couldn't find any custom recoveries for the Tab 3, are there none? That way I would be able to install a gapps .zip, maybe...

Maybe I only take the wrong software or I don´t know.
Can you tell me what exactly you have done to install the play store???

Solved the problem by myself! But still is for me not clear how I can now which gapps-jb-xxx is the right one for my system.
Only with testing it was possible to find the solution.
Has anybody a good idea?

I own a Asus VivoTab TF600T and have Windows RT 8.1 Preview installed from a few months back.
Now I try to find a way to get the official 8.1 update but can't really get it to work.
What I did is using the Modern UI to find updates, no luck.
Then I tried the windows classic UI Windows Updates, activating "Search for other product drivers". No luck here aswel.
I also tried to find the update KB 2871389, but doesn't appear in my Installed Updates list, and the device has no more updates to install.
I did the "run/wsreset.exe" and that did not show any results.
I need to have this update in order to get the tablet back in Italian, as I sold it to an Italian friend.

Hi, some months ago I bought a S4 mini. I'm Italian so when I bought the phone it had a Jelly Bean firmware.
Samsung has not released a KitKat firmware for the Italian phones yet, so I used Odin to flash a KitKat stock firmware, I used the Spanish firmware (I9195XXUCNE6).
It works really good but I have a big problem with push notifications: they don't arrive in time or they don't arrive at all!
So I've installed PNF but it doesn't fix the problem.
When push notifications don't work and I open Play Services Monitor in PNF, I read NOT CONNECTED!
So I've taken a screenshot of the Events Log and the result is the first image in the attachments.
Do other people with KitKat have this problem? What can I do to fix that kind of error (FailedHeartbeat)? Could it depend from my Internet network?
Moreover, some days ago I took another screenshot and the error is in the second image in the attachments.

Firstly I want to say that I am new here and I' m really impressed by this forum.
Now to my Situation:
My grandmother brought a Zenfone 2 Laser from tinydeal, it was delivered with CN_1.16.40.1338 and therefore has no access to goole playstore.
I googled a while and tried to apply Gapps, manually installation (googleservcie, framework and store.apk) and method via mi appshop - none of them worked properly, playstore was installed but only a white screen appeared after starting the app.
On the other site I tried to switch to a custom rom:
- Cyageno 13 has the no speaker bug fpr ZE601KL

won't install (yet) because of Error 7 (I assume the system partition is too small...)
Before I continue with my try and error does somebody know if there has been a suitable method for region change or woking playstore on a CN discovered yet?

Hello !! At the beginning I would like to greet all the xda developer forum members. I have a problem after updating android to version 7.0 stopped downloading my play store apps. When the wifi is ok but when switching to mobile transfer no longer gets. When I go back to version 6.0 everything works ok. I installed other versions of foreign flashtools and it's still the same. Please help I do not have the strength to salute.
