My selfie option is missing system wide. I've tried installing other camera related apps on the selfie options are missing. I've checked the main Camera app and there's no menu to add or remove camera selections. Any idea if this software or hardware related issue?

Have you gone to stock rom and kernel?

is there any way to make the camera on XDA IIs appear fullscreen? or is there any ROM with that feature?
all the roms use the same camera driver and app, that is why the cam interface is still the same it was in wm2003. i don't know if it is possible to change that.
Anyone got the Camera Zoom FX app to correctly tie into the hardware button to replace the stock camera app? I bought it last night on a whim, and it has a few advantages over stock, but i couldn't get the button to change apps. I even tried freezing the stock app and creating a Tasker profile and it didnt work.
Hello,
My phone si running CM 10.2 and everything works just fine except when I want to rotate my camera (selfie mode) outside the camera app, it does not open the camera app like on Color os you can activate that option.
Is there any options in CM that should be switched on to enable automatic camera app when rotating camera outside camera app ?
Thanks
That's currently a ColorOS only feature as far as I know.
I don't believe anyone else has added that into their rom yet.

I'm running OOS PIE 9.0.5 and I removed the OnePlusGallery and replaced it with SimpleGallery.
SimpleGallery is listed as the default gallery app.
When I take a picture with the camera, the small image on the right that appears, when I tap it, just above where it says; Video - Photo- Protrait, on the screen it will say 'No Photos' and nothing happens, it won't open the SimpleGallery app.
I was hoping I could use another gallery app and when tapping the image it would open.
Does anyone know if this is possible to get working?
Thanks
I really hope there's some solution to this, cause OnePlus gallery lacks a lot of basic features.
I am trying to set my camera up as a temporary streaming option by mirroring my phone screen on my PC with the camera app. The obvious issue being all of the UI on the camera preview screen. I have tried some of the streaming apps, but they don't have all of the features of the stock camera app (like utilizing the wide-angle lens). Does anyone know if I am missing anything? Or is it just impossible?
