Have problem and can not fix it by myself.
i am not a noob in flashing android devices so i tried different things to fix.
but nothing will work.
My Device:
Device: LG G4
Modell: H815 international
Unlocked BL: yes
TWRP: installed but not bootable
Click to collapse
Yesterday i wanted to flash some ROMS to look for my favorite.
unlocked Bootloader = okay
Installed TWRP in different ways. It is installed. if i use the app "Rom Manager" i can boot into TWRP. If i hold vOL Down + Power On twrp will not boot.
So my plan was following:
adb reboot fastboot
adb boot twrp.1img
Click to collapse
There i could root my device = yeah .
So i had
unlocked BL
Root
and TWRP (bootable via app)
Click to collapse
I tried different ROMS
Before every flashing i made a factory reset and wiped data/cache.
Every was working fine, but was not mine. Then the last ROM crashed while update.
I wanted to flash a stock with Flashtool i get only the message "could not get device information"
So i have no App to rebot into recovery (twrp) mode.
Then i tried the Recovery Mode from LG Bridge.
He downloaded the new Stock and installed it.
Yeah my phone was working again.
But if i am in Setup Wizard for Android i can choose the first step = language.
The second step would be the network settings. there it is doesn't matter what you choose (only mobile data or only wifi or nothing), if you click on next you will get the message "Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped".
I tried LG Bridge again but i get the same error message.
So short:
My Device:
Device: LG G4
Modell: H815 international
Unlocked BL: yes
TWRP: installed but not bootable by device only by app
ROM: not installable via Flashtool, Device Wizard or LG bridge[/QUOTE]
What can i do?
Is there a possibility to boot twrp from download mode to flash another rom?
or can i flash with download tool twrp as system. If i start the phone he will boot directly twrp and i can flash a new rom?
Weird thing is....i can get calls.
That is the only step that i can do . After that i will get ""Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped"."

I hope were not too many details .
You have to do a hard reset power button and volume down and when you see LG logo release power only then push power again.
Also for twrp recovery is the same prosess.
I think could be wrong though.
thanks. solved all my problems.
i think so i have never have seriously brick.
I will flash CM based and/or Xposed to have an additional menu in my powermenu.
i think that would be okay.

Be careful: this is for the new 2016 of the P8000, which I believe is only available in Europe. That version is known as "P8000 6.0"
I have been trying to port PhilZ v2 to the new version and although it still has a few bugs/problems, at this point it at least allows you to root your device.
Download (recovery + root):
https://mega.nz/#!kUFBmSDb!RW3sTDPA-imxcNQihCiTfnsXAw_e0Fy-9djliPbxavo
(If you need scatter file, it's attached to this post)
To root:
1. Put Beta-SuperSU.zip on your internal memory
2. Download SuperSU from the Play Store
3. Turn off phone and flash recovery
4. Immediately boot into recovery (don't go into Android first or the recovery will be gone)
5. Choose flash zip from sd card
6. Select the Beta-SuperSU.zip
7. Reboot phone to Android from the menu (if the recovery asks to install root, choose no!)
8. Rooted
The recovery is now probably gone from you phone, because it resets to stock every time you boot into Android. If you like to keep it, rename /system/recovery-from-boot.p to recovery-from-boot.p.bak using ES File Explorer in root mode or something. Then flash the recovery again in SP Flash Tools.
Known bugs for recovery:
- ADB (plugging in cable) crashes recovery
- No access to external SD card, that's why you have to flash root from internal memory
- Touch not working

Fix IMEI on P8000
Thanks to users @FrauHofrat and @ardrift

With a lot of thanks to user ardrift:
with *#*#6813#*#* entered on the stock dialer you can acess the "IMEI-Tool" which allows you to enter a new IMEI for both SIM cards. The new IMEI stay permanent even after reboot and this also works on 'old' P8000.
first I thought this is a joke but actually it worked - sometimes life can be so easy

Hello, I need help with the installation of TWRP with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 Wifi (SM-T700) on the currently running the Stock ROM Android 6.0.1 (T700XXU1CPI1). I tried to flash with Odin the TWRP 3.1.0 (official). It is also indicated in Odin that the flashing was successful, but it is still the original recovery on it. Debugging mode I have activated. Can you help me please?

UPDATE:
I got it!
After flashing you have to go into the Recovery with Power + Volume up + Home immediately before the reboot, otherwise the recovery will be overwritten with the StockRecovery.
Thanks for sharing this ... I was a very usefull post!

How is this possible, to bring the tm705, android 6.0.1, into the boot loader menu?
1. Disable "Auto Reboot" in ODIN
2. Flash TWRP
3. And than?
Thanks for a hint.

Model - Redmi 7
I have installed ASOP Extended from downloaded from here. Following are the steps that i have followed to install ASOP.
Go to TWRP recovery.
Wiped the data!
Installing using adb sideload.
Reboot to load the OS.
But now when I reboot, It gets stuck on Logo Screen of "Redmi by Xiaomi" and eventually stuck at that screen. While Logo appears sometimes a line at the bottom of the phone appears saying "unlocked"(This screens appears like lights on night club). I'm stuck at this screen. I can go back to TWRP recovery but when I do restart again this screens appears again.
One more thing at the time of installing ASOP when it was completed it showed this message "Total xfer: 1.00x".

Try with orange fox recover. Maybe solve problem
May be you are first at rom flashing. If you are you should know you have to first flash vbmeta.zip one time ( not every time ). After that you can flash any custom rom maded for redmi 7. And you can use twrp 3.3.2b version because it is the most stable and it can flash all rom without any error. And you should always keep the stock recovery zip in your sd card so if any problem occures like no os installed you can always revert to stock rom.

you will have to flash stock and try again, please remeber to unlock bootloader and turn on usb debugging.
Turn the phone off (in case you cant, holding vol- and power will hard reset the device)
as soon as the screen goes black press and hold the vol+ and vol- keys in and connect the usb cable, this should kick it to download mode for you to flash stock image.
Thanks it worked and took me to download mode but unable to flash the ROM, trying to flash 10 but shows something in download menu, screenshot attached.
Giving the error i am facing, trying to flash stock rom via odin but it gets stuck at boot and nothing happens.
I am able to get into download now but seems like bootlader is off it is giving an error
error - SW REV. CHECK FAIL (BOOTLOADER) DEVICE:4 BINARY:2
sorry for back to back posts.
download from here; https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-a50/firmware/#SM-A505FN
select your phone model tho, if not FN.
"SW REV CK FAIL usually means that you are not flashing the most current released firmware version. Most Samsung devices will not let you downgrade. You have to flash what was previously installed or higher Android version. "
from; https://androidforums.com/threads/error-odin-sw-rev-check-fail-device-4-binary-3.1251721/
So maybe try pie again then upgrade to 10?
Is your odin the latest, I've found that not all odins work with all phones.
For samsung A50 they say this one; https://dl2018.sammobile.com/Odin3-v3.14.4.zip
can you reboot to stock recovery? by holding vol+ and Power?
Try factory reset and wipe everything.
Have tried to flash the one was installed in mobile earlier but still giving same error, it was ATB6 installed.
Sorry I couldnt help more, there seem to be plenty of youtube videos out there tho; https://www.google.com/search?q=SW+...3TxUIHU4_C3QQ_AUoAXoECAsQAw&biw=2560&bih=1344

Hi all, I have rooted my pixel 6 pro since day 1 and always used the magisk way of patching and restoring images for updates, since the February update Google tells me updates are no longer supported on my device per screenshots, anyone else had this issue and know how to resolve it?

You might want to backup, uninstall magisk in the app, reboot. Then full reset/wipe and reboot. Then manually update to the latest May 2022 version using adb or the android flash tool. Something has gone awry with your software. Better to be safe than sorry.
Just used the android flash tool and flash the latest image without the wipes, then reroot, should fix it all.

But with my device rooted and my bootloader unlocked won't that throw me into a boot loop? Then I'll have to completely wipe and restore no?

Nope! Quite the opposite if I get stuck in a bootloop I just use the flash tool to fix it. No loss of data, but you need to re-boot the magisk boot image then reflash in magisk afterwards as it will completely remove magisk
So I did what you suggested and now my device is stuck in a boot loop with corrupt data, I did however patch the boot.img previously when I tried to send it to the device via ADB so I'm going to try to push that now and see what happens. Here are the options I selected for Android Flash Tool.
Second attempt with not selecting 'Disable Verity' and 'Disable Verification' worked successfully.
Thank you, I really appreciate it!
