I hope that this does not sound like a daft question, but do the CM Based roms support Quick Circle cases and apps.
Thanks
Quick answer NO, but apparently there are apps you can download that allow the use.

Thanks. I'll give them a try. I've always liked their Roms but as I've a QC Case I wasn't sure about trying it.

If you look in the General forum find the MIUI thread. They will be releasing a version of my that has a lot of S Own functionality.

Great. I don't like those pointless notifications that do nothing when you touch them, and can't be swiped away.

Nexus 4 no workie
Installation ran through in CWM no problem, but "safe levels" warning still appears after reboot. Nexus 4 with stock 4.2.2 rooted, build JDQ39.
Let me know if I can help in any way to fix this, the notification is driving me bonkers...
Thanks.

I've already removed that. You know this is for the Asus tf300 right? and it only removes the headphone icon in the status bar. I'll upload the safe level message warning later today. Or you can look at my tutorial to remove it yourself

I found your post over at androidcentral and just looked for your username here, scanned your posts for the "remove notification" keywords and found "should work on any jb ROM". Good enough for me!
So did I break anything by running the above? And where do I find your tutorial? I am a hands on guy so definitely prefer getting my hands dirty vs. "just applying magic."
Thanks!

I was wondering ..what is the problem with amking a pure aosp rom? Is it the files or just that cm is more reliable? I wish there was a pure aosp rom.not a fan of cm for a couple of reason one being that it reboots/bootloop every time on my phone with stock or ktoon kernel

Yes, but the jdeloach rom is 1- a port
And 2 - still contains pretty much the standard cm stuff

There is a banned ROM/Kernel that's way closer to being pure AOSP over anything else. Haha I wont tell you where to find it but dig around. Im currently using it and its blown my mind why I ever used that lag fest TW stuff. 70% battery left, phones been on for 12 hours and thats on the first boot also, cant wait for it to settle.

Incompatable kernels. Dual boot always originates from there.

Also, does this banned ROM have a smooth handoff between 3G/LTE/WiFi?
I ask because I have flashed several AOSP and AOKP ROMs and they all seemed to struggle for signal strength (thus, draining the phone battery much faster than a TW ROM).

It does and works fantastically. You don't even have to focus the camera to take a picture. I tried it for a few hours and its the smoothest aosp Rom I have ever used.

Is there a kernel/ROM that has long-press volume song changes added in?
I know Task's AOKP does. I'd be surprised if it wasn't in most AOSP ROMs.
Most ROM do even if they don't state it in their change logs all the tw ROMs I've tried have it and most of the aosp ROMs do like cam stated

Just make sure your primary is TW and secondary is AOSP. Been using Wicked and Slim together. Use the utilities zip to wipe in recovery if you want to upgrade roms, don't use regulary recovery features. It's actually very easy to setup and run. Seems harder than it is.
