hey frends...
i know this thread wont hurt your feelings... i just wanted to know some basic info as i dont have this mobile im asking your help before i buy this mobile...
one of a seller want to sale his mobile.. but he doesnt know how to check his mobile model no, i told him many ways.. Actually i found him from a website named OLX which is familier in India for sale and buy.. he as written in OLX website as he own a mobile new brand clean with no single scratches GALAXY NEXUS.. he advertised as GALAXY NEXUS... bt i know many user frm india as no idea wat is galaxy nexus s and galaxy nexus ..
when i ask him abt model no he sais its i9259xwkl2.. what mobile model is it ?? is that international GALXY NEXUS or verison or sprint ??
Bump it up ... need an answer
i9259xwkl2 does not exist so far as I can tell. It's more likely i9250xwkl2. i9250 is the GSM Galaxy Nexus. Try searching for the model # for more info.

Rom: PARANOIDANDROID phone mode v1.5a
Kernel: Dorimanx Kernel 3.8v ... Best on my Galaxy s II
GOOGLE EVERYTHING
If it's sold anywhere other than the USA it'll be the GSM model. In the USA there are two models. Make sure to get the GSM and not the CDMA if you live outside the USA.
Okay.. Thanks!!! Lemme know what price is in USA? n even can I know wat d difference interms of screen between Galaxy nexus and SIII?

Sad news for Samsung Users Here!
Every new phone from samsung that is comming out now will get no longer support from Cyanogenmod mostly the devices with a Exynos chip designed by samsung. get no more support!
Samsung said on twitter that The are taking this case very seriously!
Why is Cyanogenmod stopping with support for samsung devices?
The following reasons:
- FM-radio will never work
- Exynos Chip
- On jelly bean (Vsync and tripple buffering) will never work because the graphical drivers do not support this!
But there is some good news All samsung devices that are Out now will get support from Cyanogenmod!
only the devices that are coming out now will get no Cyanogenmod!

PS. Very bad news...
Meanwhile, the broadcom phones seem to already been forgotten. Never buying samsung agan. Sony looks like the best option.

to be specific, its only Samsung devices with Exynos chip, so maybe not all newer or older Samsung devices.

Galaxy Y S5363 is branded by the carrier.
No other difference
P.S. GT-S5360 ROMS will work on GT-S5363

the electronics are identical.
but the home button is larger and wider on 5363 and it has a smooth back cover instead of the samsung corrugated one.

Can a modder do a dual-boot option?
If there is this option for the Galaxy S2 and S3 why it can't work with the Galaxy Nexus?
I'm sorry but I'm italian and I' don't write well
Boot Manager lite and there's a paid version as well. I've heard that it works but have never tried it personally. I looked at it this morning and it's still in the play store but am not sure it's being actively developed any more so be careful. I'm told it works but I'm not sure how well it would work with 4 2 roms though.
Yes, I know it but it isn't a very dual boot because the secondary rom is slow.

You somewhat can but Google translate isn't perfect. If it really is Nexus 4 cheap I think you should go for it.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
You have to be careful because there are fake ones around that sell for cheap so do your research first

Don't get me wrong, I think Xiaomi makes great phones, but I would rather buy something that is officially sold in the US & Europe, because that kind of ensures that there will be developers who speak at least english.
I would not want to go through the hassle of finding my way through a chinese forum where no one speaks english and I have to use the godawful Google Translate to even get a glimpse at what is being said.
I wouldn't waste my time. You are used to a certain level of polish and dev support since you use a nexus. Regardless of what specs this xiaomi has it will still not be on the level of stability and overall usability of the nexus.
how much n where?
Just get it and sell it for more over here?

nice looking phone, nice specs too
but it is still a new company (at least globally) and like someone else mentioned, most dev happens in chinese forums.
if you have the money then why not check it out
if money is tight i would skip this phone and look for something else. i doubt you will break even or turn a profit if you sell it

Hi All -
I'm in the US and recently purchased a 32gb Xiaomi Mi-2 from China and love it so far. I purchased it from ibuygou.com in China and you can read my full review of the phone over here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37364601#post37364601
Hope this helps!
