Problem with 's' key on any keyboard - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone, it's been 3-4 months that I have my lg g4, and until now I never had any problem with it. A few days ago, after 2/3 days from the android 6.0 update, my phone had a weird problem: every time that I type the letter 's' in a browser, or any other searching engine, the research starts. On whatsapp it just selects the last message. Here what I already tried:
-Using different browsers (Google chrome, Mozilla Firefox, LG browser)
-Using different keyboards (Lg keyboard, google keyboard, Swiftkey)
-Reboot the phone (through settings and with the bootloader)
-Downgrade the phone to android 5.1
But none of these solutions worked. I add (even if I think it's useless) that my phone once fell and has a small dent on the back (at the battery level), and a little scar between volume keys and the flash, but this is only on the back of the phone, it didn't get through. I'm pretty sure that this couldn't have influenced the software in such a methodic way. I suppose that this is more like a bug or a weird setting.
Thanks for the help

Issues with new Sprint ROM

Hi,
I'm running into couple of problems with the new official ROM release:
1)I can't run the valentin-iliescu-chess-2-0 program under the new rom.
I installed netcf.core.ppc3.arm.cab and then the game but it doesn't startup.
(This used to work under
RUU_PPST_Vogue_SPRINT_WWE_3.03.651.2_Radio_3.42.30_AM_NV_2.04_Ship.exe
but not under:
RUU_PPST_Vogue_SPRINT_WWE_3.03.651.4_2_Radio_3.42.30_AM_NV_2.04_Ship.exe
2)I can't get the Music Tab on HTC Home anymore.
3)Is there anyway to disable or uninstall the new browser, Opera8.65?
4)The TaskSwitcher most times opens down to the left of the screen and kind of oddly lined-up.
Thanks
Similar Issues plus Phone Freezes and Need to Soft Reset
My taskswitcher does the same thing and I can only have 4 tabs on my today screen and contacts will not display even if in the top 4 spots. My phone is brand new with no third party applications and freezes all the time. Entire phone freezes up and no buttons or applications work - I can't even turn it off with the power button - can only soft reset. I have to soft reset the phone almost daily and many times multiple times a day. Not fun.

[Q] A Couple VERY Weird Glitches Occuring (Need help!)

Hey all,
So I'm posting this thread regarding a couple pretty weird glitches and bugs occurring on my G3, 3 specific ones.
The first: (Probably the least serious but still REALLY annoying) At EXACTLY 12:00AM every night no matter what timezone I set the phone to (I'm in AU on the AEST GMT+10 timezone but it does this at the same time on any timezone) the phone will switch it's WiFi off automatically without warning, reason or explanation. It just goes off and then I have to manually turn it back on. Sure I could use an app such as Tasker or AutomateIt to turn it back on but I don't see why this is occurring in the first place?
The second issue (Most recent): Lately after updating to the V20E firmware for my D855 I've noticed that a graphical glitch (Specifically related to the colour Blue) occurs when there are fast moving elements on my phone's screen (Such as when I move a chat head around on my phone from Messenger, or when I'm scrolling Facebook or my App Drawer fast, there's just a blue box around whatever object/s appear to be moving on my phone's screen. I've not dropped the phone at all, and it has only been present since updating from the V20D ROM. Not sure what could be causing it.
The third and by far the MOST ANNOYING of the issues I'm having, is that for no apparent reason, whenever I am listening to Music with the stock Music player, and I lock the screen (The screen goes off) about 5 seconds later weird stuff starts to happen..
The song will pause, play or even stop completely, seemingly on its own. The "phone" will change songs, artists and sometimes complete albums and playlists completely by itself, with me doing nothing but staring at the lock screen (It keeps doing it until I re-enter the Music app, then when I lock the phone the whole cycle just repeats itself.)
I've done some looking around and careful observations on the phone itself, and it seems that before the weird stuff starts happening to my music, the phone opens Voice Mate by itself, and then if I'm not present, it apparently closes it and then that's when the stuff happens. I've tried everything I can on a non-rooted phone to stop this. I've tried re-installing the Music app, Uninstalling all updates to the Voice Mate and it's packages to the factory version, force-stopping Voice Mate, everything and no matter what I do the phone still opens Voice Mate and the weird stuff starts happening (It's like it's taking commands from Voice Mate to do something but I'm not even doing anything ) It's been doing this since I got my phone when it came with Android KitKat 4.4 (I was on the D10M ROM until I moved to the D20D Android L ROM) and I moved ROMs doing a completely fresh start ( I factory wiped the phone and then upgraded via a CSE flash and put all my stuff back on it manually) and I would've thought a completely fresh start would have fixed it but apparently not... Either it's a bug that's been present for a while, or it's something deeper than the ROM.
So yeah some pretty weird issues, if someone knows what could be causing them, please let me know, especially if you know a way to solve them.
Cheers guys.
I'm having a very similar problem with regards to #1 but it's doing it with Bluetooth for me!
At midnight on the dot, it will disconnect my connected Bluetooth devices. It doesn't shut Bluetooth off, it just drops the connection. I posted about it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-lg-g3/help/bluetooth-disconnects-midnight-t2973187
Your phone sound possessed! Call 1-800-Exorcism now.
You right, weird/unusual.

Keyboard lag/touch input problem while typing

Does anyone's S6 edge have this problem where you are typing a text, at least 10 words long or more, and the screen don't recognize touch input just once, but it happens every 15 to 20 words? Its freaking annoying and I've since switched to the google keyboard and this problem don't happen as much, but the problem is still there, its caused me to misspell at least 7 words so far that the keyboard has auto corrected. This is so damn annoying and I hope I'm the only one that has this problem that way I can take this phone back and get it replaced.
I guess I'm the only one
Happens to me sometimes, but not all the time. It's probably a RAM problem. I usually clean/close some opened apps with Cleanmaster to prevent lag. Hope the next update will fix memory management problem.
I'm on Android 5.1.1 and it supposedly has fixed the RAM issue and the problem still exists. I don't think it's a RAM issue. I think it's a software issue that when you type too fast it stops recognizing the presses. Hapes mainly with the backspace key. If I tap that button like 20 times it will stop pressing it no matter how hard I press.
I want to say this is a Edge thing not a S6 thing.
Try a different keyboard from play store, also try closing apps in background.
I haven't noticed the ever on this incredible phone.
Running stock no root yet, with 3 pages of apps disabled.
Pp.
I apologize for resurrecting this thread but, I've been searching for a while with no avail. Since I've upgraded to 5.1.1 I've been experiencing this issue. Has anyone in the time of this thread found a possible fix for this?
I've tried multiple things, maybe going to have to resort to cleaning up with a factory reset.
This phone is so beautiful, yet functions like a POS, minus the camera. It just sits on desk collecting dust. I too have the aforementioned issue, along with dozens of others. First phone I've ever regretted buying.

Typing issues - keyboard sometimes won't enter any of the text typed

Hi chaps
I've had my note 2 for nearly 3 years so it's getting on a bit. I've got Android Revolution HD v31 on it, supposed to be one of the most stable roms I think?
Sometimes I get a problem where the keyboard shows up like normal, and when I type it gives the haptic feedback and the app acts like you're typing, but nothing actually enters into the textbox. When I get this problem it can be quite persistent, and it happens in all apps. Chrome/whatsapp/messenger, you name it. I've experienced this with Swiftkey, but also the stock samsung keyboard. Restarting fixes it too but just waiting a few minutes and coming back or force closing all apps and trying again usually works too.
This is really really irritating (probably happens ~20% of the time I go to use the keyboard) - As soon as I get some time I'm going to flash the original samsung firmware again and start afresh but I don't have ODIN setup on this laptop anymore and I don't currently have the time. Any short term solutions or the fastest way to get back to stock would be ideal. Cheers!

Phone locks input when notifications arrive, causing typing and gameplay problems

Whenever I'm actively using the touchscreen, such as typing, or steering in Mario Kart Tour, and a notification arrives (even a silent one), my input locks as though I'm holding it in place, for easily 1-3 seconds. This causes me to activate alternate characters on the keyboard, slows down my typing, and makes me lose races.
I've had this problem since Android 10 beta 4 or 5. When I reported the issue at the time in the beta subreddit I got people who either piled on me that it was just a beta, or that the problem was purely because I upgraded instead of clean installing, but the problem was otherwise ignored.
But the issue persisted into the final release and survived a factory reset as well and I'm at a complete loss. I've tried disabling various apps with Notification Access, such as Cortana, Your Phone, IFTTT, and even Wear OS without any impact. I'm out of ideas.
Anyone have any suggestions of anything more I can look at as a possible cause or solution? I'm going crazy.
