Can someone give me a tutorial to port Miui gingerbread. I saw the version 2.1.20 in xda. I want to try port the newer version. Can someone help me?

There was video on youtube explain everything about.miui gb i have ported miui mcg7.7 gb on stock gb before maybe i.can help you with it

what do you mean by bricked? Its the same file downloaded from the given link. If you can extract the zip file successfully then it means the file isnt damaged. can you please give me more details?

I think that are different roms..
- miui_p6u06_3.10.11_kjqvk609mo_4.2.zip - I've installed this one and i just saw the Huawei logo for hours..
- miui_p6t00_3.10.11_kjqvk609mo_4.2.zip <- this worked

Any chance to get a real dark theme that works on a Z3c?
I've seen plenty of dark themes, but they might have some brown or blue but 'm talking about real dark/black.

Please post in the right forum and you want that theme ? Install a cm rom and you can install a plenty of themes like that !

I posted here because:
1. It's a themes section (it's called Themes and Apps).
2. I've got a Sony device.
3. I can't find a section on xda where there are as many themes for sony devices as in this one.
4. I'll install cm as soon as we can unlock the Z3c bootloader without DRM issues.
However, it seems that I'm wrong with all my assumption - given that you are much more senior than me, maybe you can point me towards a more appropriate section of xda where I can ask my question, instead of telling me what not to do? (no irony/anger - I really mean it, any help is appreciated)

1: yes that is correct and you did a request and that is a question !

3: check playstore or use google to search
4: you can back up your DRM keys, unlock your bootloader and restore then the DRM keys
No you are not wrong buddy and i told yet where you can find the themes or what todo and i know it is not irony or with anger meanings.

There's not a method for restoring the DRM keys for the Z3c yet
and yes, I have tried on google play and other threads but can't find anything, hence the request here.
Anyhow, this is going nowhere, it seems.

What exactly does the patch file do?

After installation, I could not find the English XV
after several reboots and attempts to change the language in the menu item appearing English XA, but he just does not get rid of the Chinese characters.

Chinese characters
you can try to flash only the firmware archive and Gapps. Without installing the patch . This removes the Chinese characters in the settings.
But strongly firmware drains the battery and charging sooo slow.

I was wondering if it was possible to get cm 12 or lolipop for the Fire Phone. If so please tell me where I can get it. Thanks!

Btw. There is a "network" of scam sites, claiming to have a Lollipop ROM available for download... just mentioning it, since they are always high up in the google search ranks, because people use generic terms like "fire phone lollipop rom".

Its certainly possible to port newer cm roms to fire phone. This person either put out a fake image or has a working lollipop cm (which seems to mean has a reason why it isn't released at this time). I'm just guessing this person is still working on it.

Well i am smelling bull**** because he posted in apps and theme section instead of development. So most probably he is using a theme and build.prop edits. Otherwise, i will be damned.
