I was wondering if it was possible to get cm 12 or lolipop for the Fire Phone. If so please tell me where I can get it. Thanks!
Do you know how to use the search function? If so you would see that CM12 is not possible until amazon releases an update to lollipop. So everyone can sticky this and stop asking every other day.

Btw. There is a "network" of scam sites, claiming to have a Lollipop ROM available for download... just mentioning it, since they are always high up in the google search ranks, because people use generic terms like "fire phone lollipop rom".
Dear,
if you have CM11 & you want CM12 for theme only that's so easy
only download Ideal theme cm11 from google play
Enjoy
So we will never get Cm12 neither stock Android lollipop :/
That's no problem. We will just backport everything, just like Xiaomi does for example, and we will have Android N in no time, I heard it will be even better than MIUI for Fire Phone! :highfive: :victory:

Its certainly possible to port newer cm roms to fire phone. This person either put out a fake image or has a working lollipop cm (which seems to mean has a reason why it isn't released at this time). I'm just guessing this person is still working on it.

Well i am smelling bull**** because he posted in apps and theme section instead of development. So most probably he is using a theme and build.prop edits. Otherwise, i will be damned.
Yeah, now that I looked at it again, the navigation back icon looks incorrect. I don't remember it ever looking like that as an open triangle.

Yes 100% and I have 2 building right now, 1 will complete, the second might not complete as im building with linaro. Will post the offical cm10.2 nighly tonight in the forums
flashed it and running fine. Few things are fixed that the unofficial build had issues with.
Anyone have touchscreen problems before flashing it? Like the multitouch issues being reported? How are the problems after flashing?

Very stable ROM. I haven't come across any issues other than the screen not adjusting properly when switching to Extended Desktop.
Multi-Touch issues still persist. I haven't confirmed this yet, but it seems I'm not getting Hangouts notifications. I will confirm this later.

Though BlackBean 9 didn't make the list and I did one build of Omni 4.3 and Carbon 4.4 seems to be working fine and I have Omni 4.4 compiling now :good:

Yes it is. Many people brick their devices trying to install the second bootloader.
We are very lucky to have the devs we do. I'm starting to see the same issues with Samsung devices as well.
Unfortunately the device manufacturers are starting to get really good at locking the boot.

Aren't there any manufacturers that make quality tablets that don't pull that crap so that we can call for boycotts of those that do?
And it would be great to find other ways to attack those corporate control freaks in ways that cost them lots and lots of money. ('Anonymous', where are you?)

Well.. After sugar ants ate the inside of my kf2 I bought a nexus 7... Unlockable by design. You can use multiboot and run all the Roms you have space for.
I'm very happy. You can probably get one on the cheap somewhere since a new nexus device is rumored. I paid $199 full price for the 16gb version.

What a coincidence I actually stumbled upon this news myself only just and wanted to post a thread in General when it told me a similar thread was created. Well does this solve the lag on custom 4.4.2 ROMs(basically all of them like CM etc)? The lag that seems like low ram available when we have over 1gb of ram and random processes get killed that kinda stuff.
super

Is there any side effects to running KK on the job bootstack or does it run without any hiccups or quirks?
Hopefully this means aosp roms can be built without reboots and other issues etc.

You must have cleaned system as well, while wiping cache and dalvik. Doing that mounts the system, otherwise it shouldn't be mounted.
And yeah it's normal.

Not entirely sold on the boot logo to be frank, thankfully it's simple to restore to the stock boot logo.
Will be flashing once we have proper root happening, in the meantime I'm just using the last build from the previous thread.

I'm not looking for an ETA. However, I haven't seen any ROMs available for this device. The new format in XDA is a little bit clunkier to navigate for this information. Is there a ROM or more for installation?
So far I've seen graphineos and calyx rom. As for the new format, get used to using the website not the app. Only real way to use it nowadays without separate sub forums
There's also Proton.

So many ROMs are not on xda anymore. most aren't ready yet. Currently there's GrapheneOS, CalyxOS and ProtonAOSP - all 3 are 100% stable.
edit--- a few more options listed below. ton's of options for the 6 series.
Scorpion and crDroid are working on getting bills up, and PixelDust is also getting to that point, crDroid is the closest to a be release. A lot of roms have moved to telegram for the most part.
