CustomPFD and WPTweaker.
The problem may stem from the fact that I have Windows 10 on my computer?
EDIT: Not even work with Windows Phone Application Deployment 8.0

I'm sure you have update the extra&info. Don't update extras&info in order to interop unlock your w10m. Even the root tool said success, but actually it don't. Try hardreset your device, and don't update extra&info like i said before.

Simply follow the instructions included with the PDF, but instead of running MangoB2-DevRetailUpdate.exe, run this file.
Everything else is exactly the same. No need to run MangoB2-DevRetailUpdate.exe aftewards.
No dev unlock required, no Zune check, no WP Dev SDK check.

You still have to follow the rest of the steps. One of the steps is to run the appropriate version of MangoB2-UpdateWP-....exe! That puts the UpdateWP.exe file in the right location (Zune folder in Program Files)

I got the Mango Beta update invitation and I downloaded it and installed it the thing is my account is not fully activated so I can not unlock it officially. When I updated the device to the Mango Beta I lost my Chevron unlock... So its kind of problem... You will not be able to sideload apps with out a fully activated dev account... I know that Chevron labs is coming out soon but we shouldnt have to pay for something like this... Does anyone know what I/everyone else can do so we can sideload apps without having to use the official MS way or the Chevron labs way?
It works!
FIrst it install build 7401 and then upgrade to 7661.

One warning I will say, make sure you SAVE the backup it makes, there is no upgrade path from Beta Mango to RTM. You need to revert to the backup before an upgrade path to Mango RTM.

i think he is talking about the pdf contained in the downloadpackage for developers.
there are 4 parts
update documentation
zune prerelease
zune update
and the MangoB2-DevRetailUpdate.exe
you have to install the zune client and update. afterwards you can use the cracked MangoB2-DevRetailUpdate.exe to bring mango on your phone.

Did you try that method, that makes you so sure? This is the only way to get fastboot drivers working on Windows 8(.1). These 2 operating systems work more or less the same, Windows 8 and newer have increased level of security, thereby the guide, which I linked to, should also be working on 8.1.

Good morning, today updated my cell 930 to the 14356 version and did a reset after the update, I enabled the developer and tried to install vcreg xap 1.5 at xapdeployer but is carrying and says the device did not respond to the program , did another reset and the same error happened , I think from that build they blocked this form of release , I leave here my warning , if resetting, already know that will only be able to unlock the Interop Tools app .
Edit: Good morning, about the error installing vcreg out, what I found this happening, is the bug build the @nawzil confirmed, is attached the print!
Which version of the SDK Deploy tool are you using? Some XAPs will only install using the older version, 8.0, while other XAPs and APPXs will only install using version 8.1. Try both of them if you haven't already. Also, install Root Tool 2.0 first and interop unlock the device.

Install the SDKs and try with the Deployment tools in them. You may need to run the Developer Registration tool for each one first and login before it will let you deploy.

Bad news...trying everything...deploying vcregs not working on latest RS after hard reset....((
Well, i too do the reset, and deploying app using the Application Deployment will not work, and you will face this issue on both SDK 8 and 8.1. Seem like they block it on this build.
Maybe need to go back to TH build and install the app.

make sure that you are having the IPOverUSBSvc running in Task Manager -> Services tab .
Also I suggest you to use this app for deploy : Windows Phone Power Tools
wptools.codeplex.com
Why do you guys keep on saying to use WPPowerTools?
I already said it doesn't work, and it doesn't work even using XapDeployCmd.
IPOverUsbSvc is not related, as I was able to deploy BEFORE moving to the insider build.
Btw rolled back to TH2 and I was able to deploy it without issues.

The reason I am asking is I am trying to get the SAMSUNG ATIV SE to the current version that I am running on my ICON 10.0.15254.527. I am trying to see if staying with the ICON is the way to go. I am running into the error 0x80070273 when trying to update to the next version of windows 10 mobile. I saw where the apparent problem is with the OEMInput.xml file and saw on another thread that replacing it with the supplied code in that thread should get you past the update error. I have installed Interop tool app version: 2.0.79.0 on the SAMSUNG and have turned on the Restore NDTKSvc to access the files through my USB on my desktop. I can see the file on my phone thought windows explorer on my desktop but I can't remove or replace the file. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. I am guessing that what I am trying just won't work, but I thought I would ask some people that are smarter than me. Again thanks for the help in advance...
This updating thing is getting old... Just spoof the device to a supported one and voila. Change the devicetargetinginfo to a microsoft lumia with similar specs as yours and done.
That won't get you past the error that I mentioned in the original post
@malacarr1962
You are trying to edit a file in a directory other than Public? Then yes you need to interop unlock the Ativ SE.
To unlock the Ativ SE on W10M, you need to make sure you followed all the steps on guss33000 thread for his IT app. The section of focus is "For all other OEM devices". What steps have you completed already?

Well, I have already installed the Interop Tools 2.0.96.0. As far as the Interop Unlock, all the options are set to off (if I try to move one of them from you can slide it over which assumably would turn the option on, but as soon as you release it the switches moves back to its' original location. SO if I have missed something and you could tell me where I need to go to follow the instructions, that would be appreciated. If I need to hard rest or start back at 8.1 and go from there that is ok too...
Please go read the Interop Tools thread here
If you still can't figure it out you're better off posting your questions in there.
