im using Samsung Grand i9082 with cm 12.1. The Problem is whenever i am using app that requires gyro sensor like Games for aiming and for Sphere Camera. the picture or the environment in games moves to the right slowly, without me moving the phone. this is very annoying as i have to reposition myself every minute to face the right direction in games i play. while in photo sphere or panaroma images, it results in missing and overlapping spots. And youtube 360 videos decides to look around on its own. The weird thing is the compass works without problems in map application.(idk if compass sensor is associated with gyro).
I have the same problem and i tried a lot of apps to fix it but still not solved yet, and no one want help us ???.

So i flashed over and a JRDNEM_U3_2.34.1 based rom... (http://www.simply-android.com/discussion/704/rom-vanilla-w-eclair-1.0.1-122810/p1) and noticed the camera and camcorder shortcuts arent there. I downloaded the camcorder shortcut app and whenever i click it, i get an FC and it goes back to the homescreen. I dont see a stock camera app so i downloaded Camera 360 but the whole process with that app is too slow for me and the image gets stuck unless i play with the zoom slider to reset the camera. Its weird. Now im using Camera Magic and its great but it only captures 1024x768 which is only .8 megapixels. I want to get the camera and camcorder apps working the way they should, what should i do?
Workarounds i found was using ANcorder and Camera360/Fx Camera/Camera Magic to take pics and video but im still looking for the normal use of it. The developer of the ROM seems to have a chip on his shoulder and isnt very helpful so im wondering if any of you guys might have a different solution for getting the camera to work after flashing new ROMs and finding a that as a problem.
This is pretty weird but any barcode scanner I use on the 5x inverts the camera. Meaning if I move left, it moves right. My regular camera works fine. Has occurred on shopsavvy and barcode scanner. Anyone else?
The same thing is happening with my banking app when I try to deposit a check

I don't know about barcode scanners but I tried using A Better Camera as my camera app and it also inverts everything, photos and videos are saved upside-down (rotated 180 degrees).
Appears to be the apps' implementation of the Camera 1 API, not considering its installed orientation. I don't imagine Google will fix this themselves, and instead rely on the app devs to update their code.
It would have been a lot easier if they just installed the camera in the same orientation that everyone else does :|
The problem is that every application that uses Unity has very dark picture. Like if I am taking outdoor picture during sunny day, photo will turn out like it was low light situation. Normal picture taking with stock camera app works well, so I assume that it's a software problem with apps based on Unity on G3.
For example Spacecraft 3D - it's hard to lock AR target because of this problem.
Is there a solution for this problem? I am using stock Marshmallow.
i have the same problem with app called camera gun , and an AR parking game ...
Hey!
I tried to watch some VR Videos with my Honor 7x. 360° on YT is fine, but as soon as I enter VR mode by clicking on the cardboard button I can't look around anymore or it just works veeeeery slow, like I am turning my head in super slow motion but I don't. Also tried different apps for viewing VR content, it's all the same. Anybody with the same experiences and a solution for this problem?
Thank you

I too have the same problem YouTube VR videos run smoothly but viewing 360 degree photos in Google Photos using VR mode doesn't work well, it almost doesn't move when I move my device. It is most probably a problem with the Gyroscope as it was disabled before but was enabled after a software update.

experiencing this since Nougat... hoped that the Oreo update fixes this problem but nothing changed. So you think its a software issue?
Does nobody have a solution for this? The gyroscope for VR usage was the thing that made be choose the Honor 7x over the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, so I really would like to get it to work
I have this problem too, gyro is crazy .. slow or not moving at all, unusable for vr things..
Any solutions?
Did anyone find a solution to this because i just bought my phone and i NEED the gyro to complete a project i was working on for a long time.
Any updates from anyone?
The gyroscope in my honor 7x is tooo slow when compared to other phones....i use gyroscope while playing pubg.... does any 1 know how to make it fast....?
Hi. i just purchased a note 8 pro, for the most part satisfied, however i noticed something when i record 4k videos using the stock camera app. basically the phone cant keep up with the fast camera movements. im not sure if there is a term for this problem, but you can see it in the video below, when i move the phone, the change in the display cannot keep up with the movement. i have to wait for the camera to update and its annoying.. is there a way to fix this, or is it a hardware limitation?
