Your device is corrupt. - Nexus 5X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After messing up and having to reflash my phone to stock from the Nexus factory image, this prompt still shows.
I also locked the bootloader.
Any tips?

It has to deal with your Vendor.img. Did you flash this when you were flashing the stock image back?

Reverting back to stock, HELP!

Hey everyone. I need to ship my galaxy nexus back to rogers soon so I have to put it back to stock. I have restored my stock backup and locked my bootloader back up. Now I need to unroot and flash stick recovery? Anything else and please help with unrooting and flashing stock recovery. GSM gnex. Thanks in advance!

Really? Is it idle when the battery is draining like that or is it in sleep mode? Have you checked to see what may be running in the background that could be causing this drain?

So you've restored to factory and cwm is still present? It shouldn't be

All he did is restore a nandroid backup. he's still rooted and running custom recovery.

If you have a "yakju" or "maguro" device, download the factory image from here and follow the instructions for flashing and it will get you back to stock.

Here is the latest but only if you have a yakju/maguro product. If you have something else, I wouldn't flash anything from that page.

Is this just the stock recovery? I have my stock rom restored and boot loader locked. I just need stock recovery and I need to unroot

I am going to return my nexus 7 but I flashed cm10. What do I need to do?

I will of course flash back to stock, but I was wondering would anything else be necessary to return it?

Just flash to stock and relock the bootloader and you are good to go.

Make one. Or just get it (boot.img) from the update-XYZ.zip inside a factory image and flash with fastboot.

Yes. It will flash the entire ramdisk and kernel.

factory reset it (just to be safe) then grab and flash the appropriate image from here:
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
In theory as long as you do not tamper with the flash-all.bat / flash-all.sh it will perform a wipe but it doesn't hurt to do a wipe before flashing. then use fastboot to lock the bootloader and you are back to out of the box stock configuration.
