So I google upgrades for the blu studio 7.0 II to upgrade to marshmallow 6.0 and I got two sites that gave me results, but I don't really trust them that much. I would like to know if there's any official announcement that has been made for this upgrade. If someone has a source please post it thank you.
im looking for the same source and i cant find nothing online.... i believe i found the same two sites like you did but they want me to take surveys and im not about all that... if you have the rom available why do i need to take servery to download? a little fishy? i think so.

Can anyone Developer create the forum for Samsung Jét GT-S8000/3 in here xda..?
Samsung Jét looks same like Samsung Omnia II GT-I8000...
But Samsung S8000/3 is TouchWiz mobile (CPU 800MHz) and Samsung Jét can Run Android with JetQi Boot loader... (JetDroid)
it's nice if here xda-developers forum are forum for GT-S8000/3 ...
My Android Binaries for Samsung Jét:

and videos of my Android binaries is in youtube: CarlosJacksonHD
Heya!
Since i had a samsung JET(my touch screen is screwed due to some "pressure" with another phone inside my pocket), i was reading abt jetdroid, but never came across any conclusion about it. is that already possible, i mean, would that worth fixing it? speed, functions and everything? By your video, i noticed that it already works, but worth it?
Hello, I'm sorry for bringing up this dead topic. I would like to know if there has been a progress in this? Thanks!
Still waiting for Jetdroid...
I like my S8000 but the Samsung custom OS on it is too limited and they stopped support (updates) very early.
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using XDA

@Exnor I also like my S8000 very much, but I don't think so many people are interested in Jetdroid project.
Actually, it is very well described and easy to find in internet (although, unfortunatelly not on the XDA site). Did you install CM7 on your S8000?

Hi,
I've tried a early port and ride along with it since i've stop using my s8000 :/ in favor of my Galaxy nexus...
Its really sad to see such a good phone not getting more support ... the Jét still have a more decent hardware than the low end Android phones.
Thanks for the tip
Old good S8000 Jet
@Exnor I know what you mean, I have also been using my Galaxy S i9000 last two years But I want to revive it as my second phone again now.
Flashing the S8000 and upgrading it with Android OS is a real adventure with running Ubuntu in virtual box etc.
One of the guys who is still actively working on the Jetdroid project attends to build in the close future the ROM which uses linaro! It would give to old, good S8000 a real Jet speed.
There is also a CM10.2 ROM uploaded less than 2 weeks ago, look here:

Okay guys many of the tab 3 devices have just gotten kitkat update so now it is time to talk about whether or not any of our tab 3 devices will recieve android l v5.0 love anytime soon or next year!
Let me know in the comments what you think will happen and please tell any rumours about samsungs plans if you find any.
Will samsung forget this great device or will it be forgotten?
Let me know what you think!
In the meantime check out this article I found:

Hi,
dude with the work you've been doing on the ui, you could probably/most likely
whip up something way classier.
We really need a different approach to android.
my vote for android L[ame] is no.

Sammobile and other sites have leaked recently that the Note II will be getting Android 5.0. Anyone giving any credence to this claim?
Search is your best friend. https://carbonrom.org/on-to-sweeter...l&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer
Ummm... thanks, I think. I'd already searched, that's how I saw the Sammobile article. The link you provided talks about a Carbon ROM -- nothing to do with Android 5.0. My purpose in starting this thread was to solicit other peoples' opinions on the likelihood of getting Android 5.0 on our TMOS Note IIs.
note 2 may get android l 5.0 but i got a feeling it's gonna be a long time before t-mobile drops it if they drop it at all

Didn't the Note 2 reach EOL for Stock OEM development ?
Hope we get an international or AOSP Android 5 ROM for XMAS!
So with marshmallow releasing recently on the note 4, (for most) whats the opinion of staying stock or rooting and rom'ing for Nougat? If not already possible im sure it will be very soon. I did like a few features of 7 so if there was a stable ROM i might consider finding a daily driver myself. Otherwise i have been very happy with 6.0.1
Maybe ask the same question in a month. I think the code was barely released.
I'm pretty sure N is out for Nexus devices.
Actually I just saw this: http://techxat.com/android-devices-getting-cm14-nougat-rom-big-list/
So we are getting CM 14/Nougat. It's a matter of, when. Trust me, don't ask that. It'll happen when it happens. Everyone around here basically works for free. Some take donations. If someone comes up with a Nougat ROM sooner than someone else, whenever that is, then great, but we'll see at least CM 14 at some point, maybe another Nougat ROM as well from another author.
Looks like we're getting the Latest Version on our G4!
Q3 Release
If it's not rootable many people won't be interested, myself included. But it's good to know for those people that don't like their phone to be as awesome as possible. :good: But who knows, maybe someone will figure out how to root it where they couldn't marshmallow.
