Hi All,
I have a HTC One M9 (Unlocked -- S-ON), it was working perfect till I received the official MM 6 update 2 days ago. but after the update is done I found out that the Mobile Data is always showing " Disconnected".
Additional info, this device was assembled in UAE and was locked for Vodafone Qatar and I unlocked it to be able to use it on AT&T (US). I did'nt root it at all but I am ready to if this will fix the issue.
Do you have any solution that can fix this? or you suggest that I downgrade to LP 5.1? and how can I do both steps

Have you set up a new APN yet ?
If your update did not complete the carrier setup...or if an error occurred...then your default APN will not be chosen.
Set up your APN under network settings...save it...and reboot to test....g

Before doing the factory reset yesterday, I was not able to edit the APN or create a new one, but i tried again now after seeing your reply and I went to the APN and I was able to create a new one and also to select it and guess what?? it worked

I was wondering if Custom Roms come with a radio image? - The reason is I installed google play edition on my phone and didn't remove the radio image. This basically didn't allow my phone to see my mobile phone provider Optus (Australia).
I couldn't find a Optus Radio Image so I trade a Telstra one I found.
I can now receive and sent sms messages and phone calls.
The problem is that I don't get any mobile data and my phone says it is not connected to the internet.
I am currently on 4.4.4 GPE but will change back to sense, but hoping the custom roms contains a radio image compatible with my mobile phone provider.
under settings I get

Roms do not come with radio. You probably need to change your apn settings

Okay - the apn is blank - so I just need to get the APN settings for my provider Vaya.

I got my M9 few weeks ago, it was network unlock , virgin network, but it was working perfectly in europe network as unlocked phone,
the problem start when i tried to install custom Rom on it, the official rom was a Virgin network rom, so always ask for login passwrod to virgin network ( while i use europian network ) ...
the phone was already S-Off, so i just root it and install a custom rom, using Twrp V3 , it work perfectly but without network !!! the phone can't see any network now ... it look like it see the sim card but still without any network access ... gsm or 4g - 3g ...nothing, even i can't search for a network..the option is disabled ...
So any help please?????

Have you checked the APN settings? Make sure the APN is correct and selected.

actually the APN option is disabled, the network selection as well ... as the phone not detect at all any network. !!!
Have you tried *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer? If not try that and select the options that apply.

I recently updated to Oreo 8.1 a couple of days ago and everything works fine, but the one exception. I can not get cellular data, but i can make calls and send text messages.
Things i have done trying to troubleshoot to no resolve:
I got a new sim card from AT&T, I have also checked APN settings (checked out okay), I have factory reset the phone.
I gratefully appreciate any help and thanks in advance.

Security Patch level: February 8, 2018

You have 2 choises. You can A: send the phone to razer or B: flash factory images after unlocming the bootloader then relocking the bootloader after done flashing.

Thank you for the reply. I tried option 2 to no avail as now I'm on to option 1.
I am having a similar issue. After updating to 8.1 I am unable to receive cell service as well. Can not call, text, or use mobile data..
In my case I am unable to edit the APN settings as it will not save for whatever reason.
On At&t as well.
Have you tried other carrier gsm cards?
Im have 8.1 using it with telcel in Mexico with 0 issuese even when I go to the US i get Data
I was speaking to @threeuKSupport on twitter yesterday and they are saying that theres some issues with the build that Razer sent out but couldnt say what the issues where so maybe mobile data connections where one of them.

yesterday my phone got updated to the 3.23 Version. Since then my phone is getting no signal to my provider nor mobile network.
I tried WIPE USER DATA which also doesnt work. The sim works fine in my iphone xs...
I also tried to manually apply APN settings.
After i plug in the SIM card it asks for my pin. I enter the pin and it unlocks the SIM but no signal.
I only get a Question Mark at the Status Bar.
Do you guys have any similar problems?

Mine also just update to 3.23 version. i dont have this problem. i test two provider network all can be connected. Mine from singapore (asia)

then maybe EU problem... any EU users here?
I updated yesterday & have signal (in Poland).
I suggest that you try to manually switch the network type in settings, to 4G/3G/2G.

it is checked on 4g/3g/2g... and i cannot change it...
is there a way to apply the Update manually again?
Everything works fine on the phone and before the update the SIM worked too... dont know what to do
UPDATE: still no answer from support... cant use my phone since.
QUESTION: can i try to flash the ROM with fastboot without beeing unlocked to see if that may work?

1- make backup qsn
2- restore qsn

but can't check for update always tell me registration failed
So i flash with odin but unfortunately network didn't work after flashing
So i flashed another rom network appears but cant make calls or internet
Now my phone works good but no network
Don't know what to do
All what i have now imei 1 imei 2 sn
I don't also remember the original rom come with phone
I flashed the phone without check my old version
Very sad of all this
And dont know what to do

May be this can help:
I had the same problem abroad. Check settings with your provider are right.
I couldn't find wifi, because my settings using phone abroad where out.
