Hi,
I need some help, in the past few weeks all of a sudden the touch screen stopped working, sometimes after a clear cache or factory reset I manage to make it work for few hours, days, but then again its dying on me .
anyone suffered from this issue?

Hey Guys,
I'm in a real problematic state currently.
The mobile was working perfectly until recently when the screen went dim and touch didn't work. Then it powered off it self, after restarting the touch worked for a few seconds and died away.
The mobile takes about 5-7 minutes to get to Quietly Brilliant and about 10 minutes from there to lockscreen. Over here the touch doesn't work at all, last night after restarting(by taking out the battery) about 7 times the touch did work for few moments(enough for me to get to my contacts app). I allowed the mobile to rest for the night and started working on it in the morning again. Since Morning I am unable to get the touch work. I did the Hard reset and failed, Restarted again and got "Sorry!Process system is not responding Error". I went into recovery mode and saw a mobile along with exclamation mark in a triangle at its corner on my screen.
I hard reset it again and I was welcomed to Set up screen after unlocking the lock screen. The touch does work over here until I reach to "Internet Connection" area. I've tried this four times and it gets stuck over here. Once it did proceed to Sync Data and died there
Any type of help shall be appreciated, just to win your sympathy. Allow me to tell you that I am a teen and Have already lost two mobiles(Galaxy S and Neo V) and can't afford to loose another one.
EDIT: The touch is now working but the RESPONSE IS VERY VERY Late i.e at least 6 minutes after tap sometimes it takes up to 10-15 minutes.

I've got it to working but the touch response is very very very SLOW
Hi buddy, i ve got exactly same problem, how did you manage to get it working? i want to do full factory reset but i need to back up few things first. Thanks a million.
guys connect your phone through USB cable to your pc or laptop and install the stock HTC RUU 2.2 froyo ROM... hopefully it will solve the problem...

My touch screen wasn't working sporadically over the last day or two. Then today it pretty much stopped completely. I thought it might be software related so I did a factory reset / cache wipe and now the screen isn't reacting at all (and I'm stuck a the start up screen.)
Wat do?

Sounds more like a hardware problem, like the ribbon cable that connects the digitizer to the rest of the phone was starting to break/disconnect (i.e.: sporadically and now not at all).
So many threads about proximity sensor problems, but none of them with the right answer...
I have this problem with my Sensor were everytime I reboot my phone or do a Factory reset using recovery,
EVERYTHING starts to work normal. It last for about 5 minutes when the screen no longer turns off when I get a call and get it close to my ears.
I dont know what it is i've tried different Roms and going back to ICS but the problem keeps showing after some time. There must be some Gnex users with the same problem and yet there isnt a solution... perhaps is a hardware problem? maybe not because each time yo reboot or factory reset... the problem goes away. Any help will be appreciated.
i have LG Optimus G F180L ...... It was working properly bt after some days its touch got freezed and stuck .... tried soft reset by holding power button bt even after restarting faced the same problem tried it almost 10 times but no result .... then after 3 hours its touch started working for 24 hours but again faced the same problem .... kept it idle for 3 hours its touch started working again... have tried factory reset bt still no results its touch even freezes more often ..... have removed screen protector but still all in vain.....PS phone didnt even fall off nor flashed etc ... dont know what to do plz help me out....

Hi guys question for you. Ok I have an lg g3 about 2 months ago I dropped it and the screen shattered so I got a new LCD and digitizer. I installed it and it was working fine until about a week ago. The center stopped responding to touches unless I pushed a little harder and now yesterday the phone became almost unusable. I can hardly open the lock screen and to to open an app is almost impossible. Anything I can do to resolve this problem. I have rebooted and cleared cache and also done a factory reset. I have also unplugged the LCD and digitizer and plugged them back in still nothing.
I know this doesn't help but I am having the exact same issue.
For me I had my screen replaced and notice deadspots from time to time that would go away if I locked/unlocked the screen. So I did a little research and everyone was saying how I should do the touch firmware upgrade in the hidden menu so i did, and that killed the touch completely. Same issue as you, I can barely enter through lock screen. I even tried restoring to stock through .tot that didn't help.
