Hi!
I have LG G4 H815 unlocked bootloader and rooted genisys rom 3.7. Im looking good soundmod.. i know there is viper4android and its the best, but it makes annoying crackling sound.
[SUPER MOD][4.3+/6.0][ v7.0.3 ] XTREMEMusicâ„¢ dont work on my phone, just got bootloop.
I really like this phone but i need better sound for my Pioneer SE-CL751 headphones.
I use the DARK version (see 2nd post) with Sony beats and it works great, no issues:

What was the exactly version that you installed?
The "slow motion" sound is when the screen is off or always?
Do you have atmos or dolby installed? If yes try to switch off.

Same here. So had to reinstall rom. What works is installing the beats port and atmos seperately (without Viper).
Try this.
It is an older version of the mod (december), but it should work as I use this one and not the new ones in the thread.
Any good sound mod for h811 genesys 3.7 plz? a mod that does not make crackling sound while calling

The thing is, OP wants them to work. I am on LS991 ZV6 and I find myself in a bootloop with certain mods you listed.
lucky you guys :crying:
hate you stupid H818 :crying:
I have Viper 2.3.4.0 codename "Beautiful", and Dolby Atmos running just fine on my H811. I'm running the latest Genisys rom, with SuperXe kernel 1.7. Audio during calls is great, no static or noise. Also haven't had any performance or boot problems as of yet.
I previously installed Xtrememusic MOD 6.2 but it did not sound very good at all. Viper4android makes such a huge difference and I can tweak it until it's perfect. Xtrememusic didn't give very many options and most sounded bad.

3) Reboot to TWRP Recovery and flash the following zip files in the order they are numbered.
4) WIPE CACHE

Ok I found out where its coming from, here's the link to the source http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/viperaudio-viperatmos-3-8-sq-driver-t3289075 Amazing mod by @guitardedhero :good:
I just installed v4a apk to get v4a working on my xt1642
Just curious. Exactly how is V4A improving audio for you? The output to decent in-ears (Philips Fidelio S1, 32 Ohm, high sensitivity) is already pretty good through Poweramp v3 Alpha (SoX resampler and no EQ) to my ears. Easily loud enough and with better clarity than my old ipod nano 3rd gen. I play mostly 320k mp3s, some 16/44.1 and 24-bit FLACs (even though I know that it is all resampled to 16/48). Is V4A for tonal tweaks or is there some magic to digital signal handling going on?

Thank guitardedhero!
Great to see the Moto G4 Plus Viper4android thread @DJTeeJay!
It's been such fun since Viper took over audio control of my phone!
Hope more Moto G4 users share their experience and Viper preferences to help unlock maximum possibilities of this phone's sound.
Thanks
I flashed stock viper 4.71 fromhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/viperaudio-viperatmos-3-8-sq-driver-t3289075, wiped dalvik and rebooted. What are all those zips and the app in op for?
Some out of those zips are flashable variants of Viper, such as Atmos or DolbyDigital+ or Sony Beats which are customized versions built from respective roms the related audio effects/settings have been ported.
The rest are either IRS samples or profiles or DDC samples, which unlike the main app, can be extracted and put into the corresponding sub folders into the Viper folder on SD card.
--------------------------------
My current config:
XT1643 RR 5.7.4 Viper 2.3.4.0 (came inbuilt with the ROM thankfully!) DolbyDigital+ 2 IRS over Dfx 1.3 pro (can't be more happy dfx works flawlessly with Viper) headset mode via 3.5 stereo through Fiio E17K Alpen on Sennheiser HD598
I'm already s-offed, unlocked bootloader, on MM firmware and MM Leedroid.
Not using Android pay, so I have SuperSU installed.
Is there a way to install Viper Audio along with ZeroInfinity's sound mod without any conflict?
And also, I saw a lot of Viper variants and got a little bit confused. Which one works best with HTC 10 in your opinion?
Any help is appreciaed

As far as I know, there is no conflict.
What the ZeroInfinity's sound mod touches is only the HTC BoomSound profiles. Which also work when unmodified.
Meaning, V4A should work as normal (but will need different tuning based on whatever BoomSound profile you have selected).
I tried it once, but I didn't fancy it.
I can't say which is best, I believe that also falls on preference and what earbuds or whatever you use for audio.

Here is the link for the official Dolby Oreo port -
https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4365169&d=1513721346
Just flash it in TWRP 3.2.1.0
*MAGISK REQUIRED
Tested working on AEX 5.1
It significantly improved audio quality and loudness.
Original post link -
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74943166&postcount=31837
UNINSTALLATION-
Simply remove the module from Magisk Manager and reboot.
Just a tip to manually increase volume -
1. Go to *root* > vendor > etc
2. Open mixer_paths_tasha.xml in editor.
3. To increase speaker volume -
Find "RX7 DIGITAL VOLUME" and change it's value from 84 to 87
For headphones volume -
Find HPHL and HPHR and change their values from 12 to 15.
4. Reboot device.
Just hit the thanks button if it helps.
Yes working on pixel experience rom 8.1.0

Sound output through headphones seem a bit increased but yes, through speaker it's still a bit low. Guess we have to wait devs to increase the volume in their respective Oreo ROMs first.
Works Good. I'm on AOSP Extended Oreo 8.1 beta (26/12/2017 build) and I can observe significantly better sounds while watching videos (in MX player) through Phone's speaker.

It's a Magisk module, so yeah you need to have Magisk installed.
OP updated with steps to increase volume and other details.
I flashed this mod on Validus 8.1 but no Dolby app has appeared on my phone and on top of that, my AR Sticker pack has also been disabled although both of em being shown as enabled on Magisk Manager.

Hi guys,
I just tested several Sound Mods for Android. So I want to share my best settings for the HTC U11 + U sonic Earphones with you.
Working on:
Stock based ROM (8.0 based)
LOS based ROM (8.1 based)
Install Viper4Android via MagiskManager (Get it from here or directly under Downloads in Magisk, I am using Viper4Android 2.6.0.4 with the new Material Design)
Reboot
Install the AINUR Audio Mod (Get it from here or install it directly through Magisk Manager -> Downloads -> Ainur Sauron.)
Reboot
Install AML(Audio Modification Library) via Magisk or flash it from here
Reboot
Open Viper4Android. Driver Status should be working now. If not dirty Flash your ROM and start again at 1.
Load my HTC U11 Profile that I attached to this post. When using Viper4Android FX greater or equal to version 1.6 than use the v2 Profile. Everything lower than Viper4Android FX 1.6 just use the v1 Profile. Unzip the attached File to the Viper4Android Folder at the Internal Storage of your Device. Dont forget to load the Profile in V4A.
Hope you are enjoing this as much as I do. If you got any recommendations or suggestions let me know.
for me is processing on no, have already made as described a dirty flash of my Rom
edit: I have solved the problem with the music player just pause and play again and it works

Actual Dolby can't work while V4A works, at least with me, I have to disable one of them so the other work, but anyway actual dolby on oreo is not good as audio quality, it was way better on Nougat

Hi, on which Rom you are on? Does the Dolby Atmos for Oneplus X work on Leedroid?

I am on LeeDroid. In my case it works well, but i needed to turn off Dolby Headphone effects in BoomSound, because two dolby systems at once... it's not a good idea.
You can modify htc_audio_effects.conf too and remove old dolby. But as i said, it should work without editing anything.
