Can executable RUUs be used to downgrade? - One (M9) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

There's something that I'm a bit unclear on when it comes to RUUs
Let's say that I'd like to try out the latest Marshmallow release without waiting for the OTA and use the HTC-provided RUU .exe (3.35.617.12)
I'm on a T-Mobile branded M9 and would like to keep WiFi Calling and Visual Voicemail. If I find that I am unable to use these features in the non-branded HTC MM release, will I simply be able to use the T-Mobile branded RUU .exe (2.11.531.19) to revert back or will I be unable to as it's an older version (Android 5.1)
I'm currently still locked and S-ON
I seem to remember downgrades not being possible on my M7 once the hboot was updated to a newer version, but am a bit confused about the specifics of the M9
Thank you, and my apologies if this is a dumb question -- I've done my best to find an answer through searching

You cannot flash RUU that does not match your device variant. In this case, you would need 3.35.531.xx RUU, to try marshmallow. 3.35.617.xx won't install on your phone, unless you S-off and change the variant CID.

But once your phone is S-OFF then you are able to downgrade, too. (Although it doesn't matter whether you use a RUU.zip or a RUU.exe.)

Well, now I'm a bit confused as far as variants are concerned. This HTC release page states
This software upgrade comes in the form of two sequential updates. The first update will install software version 2.11.617.180 , which does not include the Android OS upgrades. The following update will install software version 3.35.617.12 , which includes the changes to the Android OS.

Am I correct in understanding now that the '617' portion of those two versions is what indicates the device variant? And that my device's variant is '531'?
So then it appears that the only ways for me to try out Marshmallow at this point would be:
1) Wait until HTC/T-Mobile unleash their official release and update via OTA or RUU
2) Unlock my bootloader, flash TWRP, and install whatever ROM I please
3) Unlock bootloader, S-OFF, and RUU as I please

And so long as I'm S-OFF I could use this particular T-Mobile RUU executable to revert back to stock at any point and then re-lock my bootloader, correct? But as long as I'm S-ON, then downgrading is not an option, even using an RUU of the '531' variant?

Correct. 617 is the SKU for the unlocked/developer edition and 531 belongs to T-Mobile US.

1) Correct.
2) You can't flash Android M Sense roms when your phone is using the Android L firmware. So you need to look for the Android L versions of the roms (e.g. ARHD 14.0 or Viper 3.5). Sense-less Android M roms like CM should be fine, though.
3) Correct.

Correct (both times). Although you should keep in mind that your phone will bootloop if it's not 100% stock and you lock or relock the bootloader. (I personally think there is no benefit in locking/re-locking or even setting S-OFF back to S-ON unless you want to send your phone to HTC for warranty claims.)

Phone was just purchased used, so if there's any warranty period left it probably isn't for very much longer. In the past I've gone S-OFF for all my HTC devices (Incredible, then One S, then One M7) but they've always seemed to have their own unique quirks and this M9 appears to be no different.
My main reasoning for staying S-ON/Stock at the moment is just in case I find a reason to return the device to the seller. After a few days when I'm sure everything is alright with it, I'm sure I'll be less reluctant to tweak.
Is a bootloop easily fixable?
So, to clarify (again!) --
In my phone's current state, I would be limited to Lollipop ROMs when flashing via TWRP?
So then, the shortest route to flashing custom Marshmallow ROMs would be to S-OFF and then RUU to an International Marshmallow firmware? Would I need to change CID manually or is that handled during RUU so long as I'm S-OFF?
And the safest route (in which S-OFF would be completely optional) would be to wait for the T-Mobile OTA release for Marshmallow before unlocking the bootloader and flashing TWRP?
Thanks a bunch for your responses. I'm sure this stuff gets answered all the time, but it can sometimes be difficult to find a specific answer in the depths of these boards. Plus, I find it hard to keep 100% on all development when I only buy a new device every couple of years.
I used the ARHD rom on my last device and quite liked it, but there was a T-Mobile specific variant that kept WiFi calling and all the other carrier-specific stuff. I'm pretty sure the developer has since long given up on maintaining those features., but it's my understanding that ViperOne may still have them.

Just reflash a RUU. The problem for most non-US firmwares is that HTC doesn't provide RUUs so sometimes there is no freely accessible RUU for a specific firmware version. (The only other method besides flashing a RUU is restoring a TWRP backup or re-/flashing a custom rom which needs an unlocked bootloader and TWRP.) If someone decides to re-S-ON and to lock/relock and the rom doesn't boot then that person might not be able to fix that bootloop without this RUU service. (The same applies to S-ON users who decide to relock if the rom doesn't boot.) HTC introduced a new security feature with Android 5.1 (firmware 2.x and higher). It prevents the bootloader unlock if the option OEM Unlock isn't activated in developer options. That's why I recommend everyone staying S-OFF and unlocked unless you need to send your phone back to HTC for a warranty claim since even OTAs can be installed with an unlocked bootloader. Well, RUU.exe deny to flash with S-ON and an unlocked bootloader but there are not many RUU.exe for non-US firmware versions and you can always extract the RUU.zip from a RUU.exe. (RUU.zip files can be flashed via an external SD card even if the bootloader is unlocked.)

Or you use an unlocked/dev edition RUU. There is no big difference between the firmware of those two M9 versions. Nevertheless you need to change both the CID and the MID. The commands are fastboot oem writecid <enterwhicheverCIDisneeded> and fastboot oem writemid <enterwhicheverMIDisneeded>. (SKU 617 - unlocked/dev edition - CID: BS_US002 - MID: 0PJA11000; SKU 401 - international version - CID: HTC__001 - MID: 0PJA10000; SKU 531 - T-Mobile US - CID: T-MOB010 - MID: 0PJA12000)

Don't know about ARHD but Viper has that feature.
Btw: Getting S-OFF is quite easy but it costs 25 USD. You simply need to use the Sunshine App. (Or you look for someone who has a java card.)

Thank you for taking the time to answer all of my questions.

No problem. Maybe those detailed answers might help other users as well. (That's at least what I hope. )

I changed my MID to the Developer edition, but I accidentally used the letter O and not the number 0 -- so OPJA11000
Then I attempted an RUU and now my phone is stuck in the RUU screen and I can't even turn it off. Is there any way to recover this? I don't even think I can use ADB anymore.
edit: I got it to reboot by holding BOTH volume buttons and POWER. What a stupid mistake. I'll leave this here though so hopefully no one else does anything so stupid.
Yikes :silly:
edit 2: Hmm, changed MID to the correct value but I'm still getting ERROR 131 CUSTOMER ID ERROR during RUU. Will have to investigate this further. Maybe I need to relock the bootloader.
P.S. The command to change the MID actually seem to be writemid, not changemid -- figured that out through trial and error
edit 3: Relocking the bootloader still gives the same error RUU. Now I'm stumped.
edit 4: Turns out the CID should actually be BS_US002, not BSUS_002, as you told me in the earlier reply.
edit 5: Yup, fixing the CID solved the problem

I didn't brick anything and got it all figured out in the long run, so no worries. I may not have attempted this in the first place without everything explained so concisely by you earlier, so thank you. Hopefully this thread (mistakes and all) can be beneficial to others.
Seriously though, who decided it was a good idea to put a zero before 'PJA' for the CID? That's just asking for trouble.

Options for Flashing Android Revolution HD

I want to make sure I understand my situation.
Currently, I have an unlocked bootloader, but am s-on(AT&T). When I'm S-on I can't update to 2.xxxxxx firmware. The only way to get S-off if firewater doesn't work is with sunshine. If I don't do that, then using the latest ARHD roms will cause problems with long boot times and such.
My choices then are wait for HTC to release an update (seems unlikely before Android L if I understand correctly), or use an older version of AHRD.
Is this all correct? If I choose to use an older version, where would I find the details of the release and the download?
Most of what you say is correct: s-off needed to manually flash firmware, outdated firmware will cause long boot times (possibly broken WiFi and Bluetooth also), etc.
However, most versions of the M8 have been updated by OTA to 2.xx software by this point. What version (carrier, CID, etc.) of the M8 do you have?
If an OTA has been released for your version, you can return to stock and install the OTA to get the 2.xx firmware (as an alternative to S-off).
You can receive your 2.2x OTA, then you should be fine to flash the latest ARHD.

Yup, that's it. Or you can get the "official" RUU direct from HTC here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-htc-one-m8/general/htc-one-m8-ruu-m8ul-4-4-3-t2860423
Only difference, is the official RUU is an .exe, so PC is required. The one you linked is a bootable version created by an0ther, which doesn't require a PC, so might be better in your case.

Thanks so much for your help!

WiFi will not turn on after custom ROM installs

So, just for a bit of background info:
I found out about the release of Lollipop for the HTC One M8 is in February. Me, being the kinda impatient type, wanted it sooner! So, having never messed around with android devices before, thought "Why not now?" And dived in to some tutorials. After unlocking my bootloader, installing TWRP as the recovery, and installing a new ROM to do the S-Off with firewater, I learned a few things: Firewater doesn't work anymore, the next best (and seemingly only) alternative costs $25, my phone wasn't booting up anymore, and I hadn't made a backup.
So yeah, that sucked. After attempting to side load the ROM and a few different ROMS, I finally managed to find a stock ROM that worked on the first load and actually booted successfully at an acceptable rate.
<b>SO WHERE I'M AT NOW</B>
Everything is fine and dandy now, with the exception of one thing: the WiFi will not turn on. I will press the WiFi "switch," and it will only become greyed out. All of my other wireless connections will work, and I am not on airplane mode (I have even switched that on and off plenty of times as well). The only solution I could find through searching was to flash the boot.img that came in the ROM, and that didn't work.
As for specs, I'm a little inexperienced, so I don't know what to provide other than this:
HTC One M8
Carrier: AT&T
Not rooted, and don't plan on it
Boot loader is unlocked
I believe it is on a stock ROM
Does anybody know how to fix this? Any help would be appreciated!

Your firmware is mismatched with the ROM you flashed.
Either flash a ROM that matches your firmware, or RUU back to stock (need to relock bootloader with s-on to run RUU).
Also, why do so many folks skip the step of not making a nandroid backup? This should be a mandatory step before doing any mods or flashing a ROM. I don't ever leave my phone without a known good nandroid or at least a known good ROM.zip.

OK, so I didn't exactly NOT make a backup... I just made the wrong type of backup. I'm new to all this, and for some reason my mind thought it was OK to back up all my DATA, not to make a backup image. I feel pretty stupid about that, and you're allowed to feel the same way about me.
Also, would you have instructions on finding a ROM that fits the firmware? Like I've said, I'm new to this and I also can't find anything about it - everything assumes that I know everything there is to know already! And the fact that'll AT&T doesn't release the M8 RUUs doesn't help either.

People don't like to follow instructions. I ALWAYS have a recent backup. If stuff goes bad, you can go back to the way it was before you screwed stuff up. It is the most basic step when flashing/modding; and it is always step #1 on any ROM/mod thread, but people like to skip it for some reason. I guess people like to learn the hard way.

Well, at least you thought to make a backup of some sort, which is better than a lot of folks. My rant was aimed at folks who (all too often) know well that they should make a backup, and don't bother to do so. Than are all "Uh oh, I can't boot now and didn't make a backup. What should I do?"
Modding the phone with no backup plan and no plan to recover = a bad idea.

The information is all here if you read and search enough; but I'll admit the concept of "firmware" is a bit confusing.
The short answer: Boot into bootloader, and unless you've tampered with hboot in some way (not possible with s-on) the hboot number will correspond with your current firmware version, which will also tell you what software based ROMs you can run properly:
hboot 3.16 = 1.x software
hboot 3.18 = 2.x software
hboot 3.19 = 3.x software
If you look at the title or top post of each custom ROM, they will usually call out what software version the ROM is based. So you just need to find one that corresponds to your hboot number, flash it, and everything should work find. If you are looking at a specific ROM, and still can't determine what software version its based, just post a link here and we will answer that.
If you are currently on hboot 3.16 (1.x firmware) you can also relock the bootloader and run the 2.23 RUU to update to the 2.x firmware; and then be able to run 2.x software based ROMs. But with s-on, you can't update to 3.x firmware yet, until AT&T releases the corresponding OTA and/or RUU. There are methods to update to 3.x firmware with s-off.
You can read more technical info about firmware here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/development/progress-fuu-m8-t2813792

You would only know by reading or searching. But its discussed on many threads, including the various custom ROM threads (sometimes in one of the top posts of the ROM thread).
For the most part, if you are changing to a higher software number (first number in the string: 1.x to 2.x, 3.x , etc.) you will need to update your firmware accordingly. This goes mostly for Sense ROMs; although some GPE or AOSP ROMs also require certain firmwares or at least an updated hboot. Again, check the specific ROM thread for details.

Your confusion is a bit understandable. The term "firmware" is confusing. Its true that in the past, the term "firmware" has sometimes been used interchangeably with "ROM". However in this case (and most frequently when talking about this phone), we are not talking about the ROM; but rather we are talking about a number of other modules including hboot, radio, recovery, WiFi, Bluetooth and others that actually do not get flashed with the ROM. And in fact, most of these modules can't be modified by "unofficial" means unless you have s-off.
HTC has also developed a somewhat contrived situation on their recent devices, in that while they claim to be "friendly to the mod community" by letting users unlock the bootloader and flash ROMs; they also have been in the habit of making significant updates to the firmware for every major software update (update from from Android 4.4.2 to 4.4.3, etc). And if you don't update the firmware when flashing a ROM of a higher software base, you are going to run into some major issues as you have seen (most commonly broken WiFi and extreme long boot times).
For a little more explanation on firmware vs. ROM, the following link has some good info: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52484527
You can still update the firmware with s-on by installing your version's OTA of (if available) RUU. You can also flash a firmware.zip if one has been posted for your CID that is still HTC signed/encrypted. But many firmware zips are not signed, and in that case you can't flash it unless you have s-off.

You can erase the notion in your mind that this phone is ever bricked, if the screen comes on. As long as the screen comes on, this phone is virtually always recoverable. And usually not that hard, just involves knowing the correct steps.
Also one of the cardinal rules of flashing ROMs, is always have a known good nandroid backup before flashing. Having a known-good nandroid to revert to resolves a lot of "OMG I bricked the phone" moments.

You probably installed the nandroid that didn't match with your firmware, so you are going to have the same issue as with a custom ROM: Your current firmware version doesn't match the software (OS) version.
What CID, what hboot number? What nandroid did you restore?

Yes, but which one did you use exactly? There are 3 different software numbers available for your CID on the stock nandroid thread: 1.54, 2.22 and 3.32.

Your hboot (3.18) corresponds with 2.22, you want to restore that nandroid.
The 3.32 nandroid doesn't match with your 2.22 firmware. That is why WiFi is still broken.

What you want to do now, is apply any available OTA updates available for your CID. You will need to update to 3.x software (Android 4.4.4) than to 4.x (Android 5.0, Lollipop). Do you know if Lollipop has been rolled out for your version?
The OTA will also update your firmware (not just the ROM). Then once you are on Lollipop firmware, you will be able to run any custom Lollipop ROMs.
You do not need to relock the bootloader to install the OTA. And I do not recommend you do so (its better unlocked).
Reason for that, once you are OTA updated to Lollipop, you can then re-install custom recovery (you need an unlocked bootloader for that) then you can install a custom ROM (such as MaximumHD as you asked).

[Q] Steps to convert to Dev Edition from AT&T?

I'm currently bone-stock AT&T, 4.4.2. I'm frustrated by the lack of OTAs from AT&T, especially given that the 4.4.4 was reportedly pulled. So I'm considering converting to Dev Edition to get timely updates and I'd like to make sure I have all of my ducks in a row before I begin.
Am I correct with these steps and order?
1. Unlock bootloader (htcdev key)
2. s-off
3. Change MID and CID as appropriate
4. Run the 5.0.1 RUU that HTC posted
5. ???
6. Profit
Thanks!

Skip HTCDev, because Sunshine will take care of that for you. Once you are S-off, you can trivially lock/unlock your bootloader, and by skipping HTCDev, you can potentially avoid losing your warranty.

Yup, except I forgot to mention that you only have to change the CID. The MID is already correct. (The Developer Edition is essentially the same as the AT&T edition, but has a different CID)
You would have figured that out on your own, and it wouldn't have hurt to attempt to change it, but it's not necessary on your device.

I've already got the tabs open for the adb steps for that on my home PC. Thanks a bunch; you've confirmed that I actually have learned something from lurking around here all this time.
I have the Tmobile version. Will this same thing work as well, just changing the CID and flashing the 5.0.1 RUU?
I already have S-Off and unlocked bootloader. Everything else is the same from when I got it. Stock 4.4.4 Sense, Stock recovery (No CWM or TWRP), with T-Mobile CID.

No you won't. The Developer edition has the latest firmware needed by the latest ROMs 4.x
So you'll be good to go.
I actually had to do some monkey business to get this to work.
I changed my CID to Super CID, then adb fastboot bootloader. Then ran the RUU .exe. This started to work, however it failed at I think step 5 telling me my CID was wrong, and the .exe told me to hold power for 10 seconds to reboot.
This then booted back into 4.4.2, and settings > about still said 4.4.2.
fastboot getvar all however, revealed all of the lollipop firmware settings.
So I rebooted to fastboot again, then changed my CID to the BS_US002.
Ran the RUU again. It took, and it's currently optimizing apps.

HTC One M9
Hello,
I wonder why the HBOOT is now called ABOOT with the One M9.. is it just because it`s new design.. or are there more changes that we should be careful with?
Thanks a lot

I think its mainly like the HBOOT on the M8, maybe only a name change, but i can't say, because i did not diff the files and i'm not really into digging into
bootloader images, i only do the needed edits and then i'm done.
Mismatched MID and CID
Hello. I just got S-off on my HTC one M9 Developer Edition in order to flash this firmware, but found (through getvar all) that my MID and CID are not the same. Why is this, and is there a way to fix it?

Of course they're not the same it wouldn't be good for your device if they were.
MID: a combination of numbers, letters and/or additional characters that identify your the device (as for example a HTC M9)
CID: a combination of numbers, letters and/or additional characters that identify the country of origin of your device and whether it's branded and sold by a carrier or not.
For example the MID and CID of an european M9 which is unbranded and sold in Germany are 0PJA10000 (that's a zero at the beginning not an O) and HTC__102.
Edit: Both, your MID and your CID, are the correct ones for the developer edition.
Sorry

Ok, sorry for missunderstanding your post. Well, the x.xx.401.xx firmware versions are meant to be used on the international version of the M9 which can be identified by the supported MID and CIDs. You could change both IDs using fastboot commands but since the hardware of the U.S. variants is slightly different* I don't think it is a good idea to flash this firmware on your phone. In the worst case you might get a nice new paperweight if your phone is not compatible with that firmware. Besides I don't think it'll take too long until the official 1.40.xxx.xx firmware is going to be distributed via the OTA function of the stock HTC rom.
*Blame the fact that U.S. carriers use the CDMA network standard while most other parts of the world are using GSM.
Isn't it GSM?

Seems like you're right. As far as I read the developer edition is almost the same as the AT&T version which uses GSM. I thought every U.S. carrier uses CDMA. Nevertheless there must be a difference since your MID differs from the international one. If the hardware were the same there would be no need to use a different MID. Of course you could try installing the 1.40.401.xx firmware using the commands in the hide box but I cannot garantee that it will work or that your phone is still usable afterwards. I would actually suggest you to ask here whether you won't brick your phone by flashing the x.xx.401.xx version.
Code:
fastboot oem writecid <input desired CID without "<" and ">"here>
Code:
fastboot oem writemid <input desired MID without "<" and ">" here>
Edit: Seems like it won't "hurt" your phone to convert it to the international version.
developer editions on GSM
Hi all
i am wondering if the 1.32.617.30 developer firmware and RUU stuff will work on a GSM phone or more to the point a European phone.

Hi thabks..is there any release date for the internatuonal 2.10 ruu??
Hi guys, need help here
I relocked my M9 and make it S-ON. im using firmware 2.7.401.1 I cannot install from any RUU, it seems there is no RUU that match with my firmware. I make mistake should S-ON the device later, but i already did it, so now i cannot use the phone because there is no OS on it.
I try to unlock bootloader, and cannot retrieve the token when using fastboot oem get_identifier_token. I read that since 5.1 you need to turn on unlock option in developer options, but i cannot do that, since the OS is already wiped
Is there any solution for this ?
Thanks.
when will we have the ruu zip 2.10.401.1 so we may be able to apply the SDCARD method to have a full clean stock flash?
I would like to have flashed in this way instead of going all the hard way in flashing ruuzip stock 1.40 and then upgrading by ota´s.
Thanks for all efforts, Nepht Legion.

Hi All,
Apologies if this is the wrong thread to post this in, just wanted to find out if anyone else has tried to manual install an ota on a M9 s-off.
I copy it to my SD and select to install it via stock recovery. It checks the file and starts the update and not once have i spotted an error, but once it is back up and running android, it is still on the old version.
I'm currently trying to go from 2.10.401.1 to 2.10.401.180, and if I go to aboot, it actual says the new version, but the OS version is still the old.
I would seem that the system partition isn't being updated.
Is there something i'm doing wrong? I tried the usual, googling and searching xda, but haven't found a solution yet.
Thanks

Can't flash anything and phone goes into random reboots

I'm currently at loss for what to do now, heres what happened which I think started all these problems
-Was running ICE 5.5.1 stable
-Phone randomly reboots into HTC's white startup screen
-went into TWRP and wiped everything including internal storage
-flashed a new rom hoping it'll stop the reboots, and halfway during the flash the phone reboots itself even before completing
-now stuck with no OS and cant get into recovery

download mode shows "FILE /mnt/media_rw/ext_sd/0PJAIMG.zip; FILE NOT FOUND"
Anybody got any suggestions? Hopefully someone here knows something about this
digged around and found that I might need to flash 0PJAIMG.ZIP. Any kind helpful souls out there able to post the image for 3.42.708.3? Tried finding everywhere but couldn't find the relevant file in this forum
You can flash any 3.xx.708.xx firmware. Only the first and third set of numbers really matter. The second set is incremental version, forth set is times to push to devices.
Bear in mind that your device is rooted and unlocked bootloader so flashing stock isn't an option.

Flashing an RUU is definitely the way to go, and will work just fine as long as your SKU and OS version match with the RUU you're attempting to flash.
Being rooted and/or having an unlocked bootloader will not affect the success/failure of flashing an RUU. Follow the instructions on the readme page and you should be golden.

ruu.exe only?. These htc rules are confusing. There needs to be a sticky with the requirements for each state of the phone.

You've read correctly. You need a 3.xx.708.xx RUU (EDITED: See Flippy498's correction below). It may be possible to get on from a paid repository of firmwares, but I don't have any recommendations there.
While HTC can almost assuredly help you (for a fee), it may be worthwhile to look into the paid service mentioned in the readme thread to see if that is more cost-effective.

You can flash any 3.xx.708.xx firmware. Only the first and third set of numbers really matter. The second set is incremental version, forth set is times to push to devices.

No, not only the first and the third number of the firmware version matter for S-ON phones. The X and the SKU in X.XX.SKU.YY need to match between the RUU and the phones current firmware. Only Y is allowed to differ if the phone is S-ON.
And a RUU actually flashes everything back to stock. So this

Bear in mind that your device is rooted and unlocked bootloader so flashing stock isn't an option.

isn't true at all.

ruu.exe only?. These htc rules are confusing. There needs to be a sticky with the requirements for each state of the phone.

There is a sticky with all needed information for RUUs: The ReadMe thread. (But as always, if you call something "ReadMe" you can rest assured that no one really reads it...) Flashing RUU.exe files can be a pain (just like using htc_fastboot)*. It's easier to use the SD card method. The ReadMe thread even explains how to get the *.zip out of the *.exe.
* I actually never had issues with them but I faced enough users here on XDA and on Handy-FAQ who just couldn't get them to work.

I've tried and the only RUU that matches the SKU 708 is 1.32.708.15, is it possible to flash that on my current firmware? I've read that it's not compatible... or is it?

As mentioned before by the others, that RUU is too old.

Only HTC can fix it afaik. I reckon your attempts to flash will fail.

How about Llabtoofer's RUU service as suggested in the ReadMe thread? Or Easy-Firmware if you prefer to own the RUU? (If you choose the latter make sure not to download a RUU with "combined_signed" in its naming. Those are custom made and only flashable with S-OFF. And don't forget to make it available for others, afterwards. )

Thanks for the suggestions! Sad to know that Easy-Firmware is only available for S-OFF users, it could've been great if its flashable on S-ON. Looks like the only way out of is Llabtoofer's RUU service

Easy-Firmware is usable for S-ON users. You just need to make sure that you don't download a "combined_signed" RUU. The ones with only "signed" should be just fine (e.g. "0PJAIMG_HIMA_UHL_M60_SENSE70_MR_hTC_Asia_HK_3.42.708.3_Radio_01.01_U11440801_97.04.60111G_F_release_471142_signed_2_4_2.zip" or "0PJAIMG_HIMA_UHL_M60_SENSE70_MR_hTC_Asia_HK_3.42.708.3_Radio_01.01_U11440801_97.04.60111G_F_release_471142_signed_2_4.zip").

Any rough estimates on how much will the repair by HTC cost?
