Mod request - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
May I ask you if someone can create a flashable zip that contains center clock and hide battery icon based on 6.12.401.4 firmware (stock rom)?
I know that this option could exist on xposed but I want to avoid this.
Thanks in advance

Ask the OP of this thread.

[REQUEST] Help with APK testing from someone on a 4.2.x ROM, please :)

Good day all,
I've got a little thread going with some themed versions of the new 4.2 DeskClock app, and I am looking for anyone who is currently on any 4.2.x ROM who can help me with some testing. I am still on 4.1.2 as I can't take the plunge myself quite yet, so I am not able to do this myself yet.
I am looking to confirm that the theming I have done to the DeskClock APK's doesn't cause any issues with the function of the app. The AOSP version of the APK has some issues when running on 4.1.2, but I am assuming they are not present on 4.2 since I haven't seen anyone complaining about it. I also want to confirm that the flashable ZIP file I made is 4.2-compatible.
The ZIP file here (View attachment 1523414) contains a semi-transparent white version of the 4.2 DeskClock. You are welcome to inspect the contents as well as the updater-script to confirm this. Nothing nefarious. I ask that you try flashing it and help me answer 3 questions:
1) Did the flashable ZIP work? You can confirm by installing the analog clock widget and seeing if it is now semi-transparent (or a fainter white depending on your wallpaper). I can make a ZIP to get you back to stock after that, or if there is a style in the OP you like, and I will make a flashable ZIP for you.

2) Does the new digital clock widget work on 4.2? When I try it on 4.1.2, I get the display error in the screenshot below, even the stock unthemed version. Sadface.

3) Does everything still work? Alarms? Timers? Widgets? No weird FC's when exiting the app while a timer is running?
If anyone is willing to help me with any or all of the things above, it would be greatly appreciated!! You can post here or in the thread over in the Themes & Apps sub-forum, I'll be checking both places
weekend BUMP! any help is appreciated!

[Q] How to ADD Icon Rows & Manually Theme Icons on STOCK FW

I want a 4x6 table icon layout. I do not want to use a launcher or custom rom. Can this be modified via the systemUI.apk using the apktool? Is there a 'tweak' which has already been released to accomplish this?
How do I manually modify icons (without launcher/rom). Specifically which folder would I look in and are there any problems with replacing the file?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
App icons are stored in the apk themselves. Custom launchers give you the ability to choose what icon to see, be it the default stored in the apk or one you select.
Check out cleanrom to see how the alternate layout grid factors were achieved.

I would love to help you, but help yourself first: ask a better question

2.) Pop-up browser
3.) a guide to installing (and themeing) aosp 4.1 lockscreen on touchwiz
4.) Paper Artist

[Q] Custom System Notification Icons

I'm looking for a simple way to change the Icons of the system notifications like GPS, Bluetooth or the signal strengh. I don't want to choose a package but each icon individually with the possibility to add custom ones. A solution via the Xposed framework would be nice.
Target device:
LG G3 D855 with root access and xposed framework installed
If there is something exactly like that and I was just too stupid to see it or search for the right leywords please just post the link to that post.
I hate the symbol that comes up for multiple notifocations. The block with a +
You can make a flashable zip with your preferred icons
Could you give a short advice what I need to include or o you have a link to a finished one where I just need to exchange the icons?
