Extremely stressed out and in a hurry please help - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello, i am really hoping people can help. i rooted my HTC ONE M8 a while back and now want to unroot it. i followed the Unlockrs version, since it will not let me post URLS just simply search up how to unroot htc one m8 and it will be most likely the first or second link.
by the part where i installed the older backup from where it was not rooted, i started up my recovery which is TWRP. and i loaded the backup and it said it loaded correctly, and afterit asked if i wanted to install superSU because it was not installed (since that version was not rooted) and i clicked do not install. after that it froze, shut off, then turned back on and afterwards proceeded to shut off once more, and turn on while loading the recovery, it would then go into recovery again. i tried many things but now i have a restored android that wont go into the menu. please help.

[Q] Need Help... Phone stuck booting into Fastboot

I succesfully rooted my phone.
I went to install Android Revolution. I think I goofed.
I first dowloaded and ran the the Intsall boot.bat
I did not first put the Rom and SuperWipe on my SD card.
When I went to boot my phone backup it boots into the fastboot menu instead of booting up the phone. It does this everytime I restart it.
What do I do? I cant post in developers forum for help as I dont have enough posts.
I restored the backup I created in clockwork but my phone still does the same thing.
so I started following these instructions -

How do I know which RUU to download? Im in the US and purchased a International One X.
Alright -
I noticed it said the version of RUU in the fastboot screen at the top. I started the download last night and went to bed. Just woke up. Good news is I took a few days of work so I have one goal this morning.
Must get One X working again.
Wish me luck.

I'm new at this sort of. I've got this HTC wildfire s(A510c, CDMA), I recently rooted it(successful), I wanted to get a custom rom so i decided to download ROM manager and install clockwordmod as you had too in order to get they're roms. I downloaded a rom that was based on Sense 3.5, I left the package and everything as is, i tried "installing from the SD" i backed up, and rebooted into clockworkmod booting screen, i installed it from sd cleared the cache and so on but still no changes but it froze several times and eventually completely rest, i tried it one more time, it froze and now its stuck on the white HTC screen and won't go any further but i can still access HBOOT and Clockworkmod Bootloader but bootloader likes to freeze on me a lot, can you help me? that would be greatly appreciated

Look for the ruu that goes with your phone. You can probably find it in football's thread. Run the ruu and that should get you back to original state. When you go install a rom, make sure it's for your phone, otherwise you can brick it.
Edit : Here's a link to the US Carriers RUU's. Make sure you use the right one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1432425

[Q] Question about RUU

Hi All,
I have a VZW Htc One M8, and I have been playing with it when have gotten the chance recently. I have installed/flashed an RUU before to correct an issue I ran into (trying to take an OTA) and everything went smoothly. As I said I took the OTA, but kept the RUU from the previous time I used it (first mistake). I am s off so I am hoping that is going to save me here.... This brings me to my problem.
I was trying to flash Viper Rom, but at the end of the setup I kept getting a popup saying setup has stopped, and I was unable to see a homescreen, but the phone was working. I decided to revert back to stock using the old RUU (be gentle) and it loaded and I hit yes to begin. About 10 second in it stopped and wanted me to reboot... I was in the middle of doing something else when it happened so I rebooted back to the bootloader and my OS line was in red. I then went back to recovery and restored my very recently created backup of my stock rom, which worked. I then went back to the boot loader to look at what was in red more closely and it is now blank. It says OS but then nothing after.
I have since gotten the new RUU that I should have used, but it seem to hang on the last part of the loading (put in on my external sd card) and my phone works... but the boot take forever and the VZW logo doesn't come up anymore. It almost seem like the phone boots fine but the HTC ONE logo stays until the phone screen turns off and when I hit the power button to turn the screen back on the phone is booted. My question is... should I 1) try the old RUU again and then take the ota since I am s off I have seen that technically it should work. 2) let the phone sit at the loading of the newer RUU and see what happens (I haven't tried seeing if the old RUU will load yet) or 3) count my blessings and deal with a non completely broken phone?
I realize I made a few errors while doing this, but I am hoping that s off will allow me to correct the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Issue should be resolved
Sorry to everyone that read this... I didn't make it all the way through the thread where I found the new RUU, and the thread tells how to resolve the problem with not loading all the way. I am going to try the fix after work.
Edit 1: problem resolved... I am an idiot

HTC One M9 stuck in a bootloop after supersu install

Hello everyone,
Let me apologize before hand because I am a little new to rooting androids. I have searched and searched and nothing seems to work for me. Anyways here is my story. I had my phone rooted with twrp and supersu but on lollipop. I thought it was time to upgrade so I decided to go to the HTC Website and locate the RUU. I downloaded the one in that link and installed it. Everything booted up fine. I installed TWRP and rebooted and it worked. I installed SuperSU as according to this LINK. The only difference is I had already put the zip file on my sd card before loading into TWRP. Moving on. This is where it started to mess up. I rebooted my phone afterwards and was stuck loading and then reloading at the HTC screen for 25 minutes. SO i decided this must not be working so i loaded back into TWRP. I tried DLing different versions of SuperSU and still rebooting at the HTC screen. As of right now my download mode says ***** UNLOCKED ******* S-ON. My OS is 3.38.502.12 and when I had originally installed TWRP my OS said Android 6.0. I am now trying to go back to the RUU and get it to flash the rom again but after hitting next on the installation exe it closes and does nothing. I have tried to look for a ZIP file but HTC apparently hasn't come out with one.
If anyone can help me I'd REALLY appreciate it.
Thanks in advance
Waffle
Alrighty I'm dumb. I finally got the RUU to work and was able to flash the ROM to default. Now back to trying the TWRP and Super SU install again =D hopefully doesn't bootloop again.
you need a new supersu zip, 2.46 is way too old

Tried to install SuperSU, and perhaps bircked my phone...

Hello all,
In order to receive the new OTA, I got back to stock, and received it successfully.
Then, I downloaded and flashed TWRP 3.0.2-0-hima, and created a backup. After, I tried installing SuperSU 2.78 and each time got a boot loop. So I booted to recovery, and restored my backup, and tried installing version 2.46 instead. Now my phone is stuck on the white screen.. I can't seem to turn it off, or boot to bootloader. When I try ADB, I get 'insufficient permissions for device'.
Is this it? Is it bricked?
Sorry, probably shouldn't be a Q&A post.. I don;t really know how to change it however.
Well, let the battery drain out, got into the bootloader, and restored the backup.
Now only need to find a way to install SuperSU
