SM-G920P Baseband Uknown and IMEI Null - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6

Hi,
I flashed wrong ROM which removed IMEI number from my S6.
Now I have G920PVPU3BOL1 in my phone. Phone turns on and goes to screen where Phone is getting ready for the first time use, Step 3/4, that's where it turns off and goes into continuous boot-loop. It doesn't pick network signal.
I can go to recovery options to do factory reset but comes back to the same issue.
I cannot flash G920PVPU1AOCF ROM via odin because apparently once I have upgraded to 5.1.1, I cannot go back to older versions. I can flash Custom ROMs but phone doesn't pick up the network signal because Baseband version uknown and IMEI is Null.
If anybody knows how to fix this, I would really appreciate your help.
Thank you regardless.

Try flashing the correct firmware for your device or do a full odin flash that includes the rom & firmware.

Also try calling: ##update#
This will update your PRL and such, it could help

same here I also flashed it to same firmware G920PVPU3BOL1 and now no imei, pse hlp

[Q] Need Help!!!!!

I was trying to update my phone with a lost kernal via odin and something went wrong. When I got done it said firmware update failed and to redo via Kies. Tried that and the program would not recognize the phone. Finally got back to stock after much fiddling around and I have no signal and my phone is locked in airplane mode and it wont come out. I read a thread about clearing cache and restarting but that did not solve the problem. The one thing I did notice is in about phone in baseband and hardware reads "unknown". I dont want to take it to Sprint because my Odin counter reads 27 and I dont have a jig to reset, any help would be highly appreciated
if your baseband reads unknown you flashed using the phone box and overwrote your modem driver.
easy enough to fix however we don't have aan eg30 modem driver
so your stuck with eg12 for a bit.
still works though check out

[Q] Galaxy Note 2 and stock firmware problem

Hi,
I had my galaxy note 2 with stock android 4.3 firmware. Phone is unrooted. And I decided to downgrade to 4.1.1. Took stock firmware for my region, took odin, entered download mode and flashed my phone with this firmware. Odin completed without any problems, phone rebooted and stuck on splash screen. I entered recovery mode then, wiped data and cache partition and phone booted without any problems. But here goes my major problem - my phone can not register onto my mobile network. When I search for the networks - phone can see them but when I select network phone simply refuses to register onto this network Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

Its a problem with the radio incompatibility . Did you download the firmware for the correct region ?
Just to test try flashing any of the custom firmware in 4.1 framework . See if the network registers . If it does then ur flashing a wrong version of stock .

Hi, it seems that I was able to find solution. As I've been on 4.3 official rom it seems that EFS partitions were modified and when I flashed stock 4.1.1 it seems that the modem can't access info on this partition. So I flashed modem from official 4.1.2 firmware and everything started to work. This thing was mentioned somewhere on this forum.
But here comes my another problem When I flashed to 4.1.1 I saw knox warranty void 0x1 But it was too late when I saw what this does mean But the problem is that download mode says that my phone is in custom state and that I loaded custom firmware 1 time. Well... I've tried to root the phone, installed triangle away and tried to reset flash counter. When I entered download mode I saw that flash counter was set to 0 and that the phone is in official state. But when I rebooted phone till Android OS and went to download mode after that I saw that flash counter was set to 1 again but the phone is in official state. Why is that? I have stock recovery and stock rom. As I've read there must be no such thing. Could it be because my bootloader is from 4.3 version? And one more thing - I was not able to enter recovery mode when I rooted the phone Phone stays at the flash screen forever Is it expected thing with stock recovery?
And one more question. Lets imagine that I have 4.1.1 official rom, I'm rooted and want to flash 4.1.2 official rom with odin. Do I need to unroot my phone at first or can I skip this step? Thanks.
If you are on 4.3 then Triangle away will not work due to knox . Its recommend you unroot the phone before flashing a new rom using Odin.

Absolutely no signal and wireless service on stock

Hello, I believe I soft bricked my SGH-T889. I was attempting to install CyanogenMod on it using the install app via Windows 8.1. However, somewhere in the middle of the installation, I think it was attempting to install the recovery, and next thing I know when I look back to check, the application on my PC said that CM could not talk to my phone. I then noticed I was stuck on the screen with Cid and a white background. Nothing else!
So, I took out the battery and then attempted to boot into recovery, my result is Cid and the white background screen. I then attempted to boot up the phone, my result was Cid and the white background screen. I then booted into Download Mode, and attempted to flash the root66_TMO_T889UVUCMK7_2.tar.md5 to go back to stock rooted, however, Odin3 3.07 is not recognizing the phone when I plug in the USB cable. I do not get the "Added!" message anywhere. It has always worked before.. please help me! I'm stuck with a phone that cannot do anything but show the blue Cid android.
I so regret flashing the ROM through TWRP. If anyone can provide assistance, it would be most appreciated!
Also, when I boot the phone, there is a red LED that flashes once. What does that mean??
Well what do you know, Odin finally recognized my phone, and the "added!" message in the box appeared. I guess it was because I plugged into the different USB port on my PC , and I went into download mode, and Odin recognized my device. I was then able to flash the root66 4.3 firmware. Problem solved on my own. Now I may flash it again, but this time using TWRP.
But, now let's see what happens. I was only wanting to flash this ROM to see if I have a signal on my phone, because I haven't since I flashed DN4 LTE v2 ROM and the Addon v1.1 (without rebooting) and I have absolutely no signal, not even on stock.. anyone know what's wrong?
EDIT: Okay, T889 is running on root66 4.3 stock firmware. However, I do not have a signal. Status bar is showing a white circle with cross. Baseband version is T889UVUCMK7. Network is unknown, signal strength is -113 dBm 0 asu, mobile network type is unknown, service state is out of service, mobile network state is disconnected. My IMEI is showing correctly. Why don't I have a signal? I'm searching everything on XDA.. and yes, my SIM is inserted correctly, and airplane mode is off. I wonder if this phone SIM reader is dead.. that cannot be the case. Also, when I insert my SIM into my Galaxy S3, it works perfectly fine. So the SIM card is not dead. What should I do?
EDIT2: Went into Settings > Mobile networks, and searched for available networks. Tapped on T-Mobile, and nothing. I scrolled down the status bar and now I get "selected network (T-Mobile) not available" can anyone please help me?
EDIT3: I just reset the binary counter to 0, and the status is official in Download Mode. Flashed stock T889UVUCMK7_T889TMBCMK7_T889UVUCMK7_HOME.tar.md5, and still no service and signal. I'm going to attempt to use a different SIM card later during the day, if that doesn't work, I'm completely out of options. If anyone can provide assistance for me, that would be most appreciated. Thanks.
No longer accepting any solutions, problem is fixed.

[Q] Back to stock from Lollipop

Hi everyone
Long time xda follower, newly registered, since I needed to ask a Q.
I rooted and switched to Lollipop on my ATT S3 (i747) a few months ago, Lately, I've started noticing battery issues as well as network issues with this ROM. I figure it is time for me to go back to stock.
However, if I remember correctly, when I tried previously the phone refused to downgrade back to stock. Kies was helpless because the trip counter had been reset (or something similar).
Please, is there a good how-to on downgrading this phone from Lollipop back to stock? If yes, would someone please point me to it?
Much thanks in advance.

Hmm.. I am going to give this a try:

Nope! No go!!
Triangle away reset the counter.
The stock recovery works well. I was able to boot to recovery and wipe the data and all that.
Odin says "SW Revcheck Fail" when trying to download the stock rom.
I rebooted into Lollipop, downloaded Triangle away again and reset the counter. Still Odin fails with the same message.
I tried flashing ROM first then the recovery as it was suggested in that link. Nope. Again "SW Revcheck fail". For the record, my SWREV appears to be 3. It is supposed to be 0. Triangle Away does NOT reset this. It did reset another counter (as reported by Triangle away itself - was 5, got reset to 0).
I remember *this* was the problem previously as well, hence the original Q:
How *do* you get back to stock from Lollipop on the Galaxy S3/ATT?
Meanwhile, although Keis failed to recognize the device, I tried to run a firmware recovery manually. It took a long time and in the end failed. It also messed up the recovery, so I had to flash CW again to make it bootable. I'm still back up with Lollipop at this point, but I don't want Lollipop.
Anyone anything else I can do? Any other guide out there to downgrade?
Thanks again
L
The thread you linked is for the international version of the s3.
Before flashing anything else, you need to confirm the bootloader on your phone to ensure that you don't flash anything that attempts to change the bootloader if your bootloader is mjb or newer.

Right. I finally figured it out.
First the 4.1.1 FWs weren't flashing (in other words SW REV CHK FAIL) was basically indicating that my Bootloader was far ahead of the 4.1.1. I dropped 4.1 after I figured that part out.
Next, I tried to flash a 4.4 (UCUFNE-rooted-odex is available as a zip-flash) through CWR, which didn't work (no boot, stuck at splash).
Next I got hold of a 4.3 (UCUEMJB-2024954-REV04-user-low-ship), which successfully flashed through Odin (repartition checked), but there was no sound, IMEI indicated null. Service Mode yielded a blank screen.
I flashed TWRP through Odin (was working on CWR since the beginning) and then flashed the UCUFNE-rooted-odex above on top of 4.3 through TWRP, which was successful, still no sound/IMEI/service mode.
Finally I got hold of the UCUFNE-Modembaseband zip (a small one - 20MB) and flashed that through TWRP. Both sound and IMEI came back.
I'm at 4.4.2 now, but an OTA update from ATT failed (probably because it went through TWRP)
Now I'm back to stock, albeit rooted ROM (because of the Rooted-Odex 4.4 flash), but I am a happy camper.
Thanks to XDA for various bits of info here and there. But essentially *this* is how you go back to stock from Lollipop.

Bricked VZW Note 4 N910v, cannot flash through ODIN either

Hello folks, im kinda desperate about this situation. I think i bricked the phone and everytime i try to boot it up it goes straight to the bootloader showing the following message "SOFTWARE UPDATE FAILED: Your device didn't update succesfully. Use the verizon repair assistant on a computer to repair your device and complete the update" . I've been looking for that "Verizon repair assistant" software everywhere over the internet without any luck. (Seems to be included on a CD). The phone is on the latest BOG5 5.0.1 Verizon's official firmware. I bought the phone as a Manufactured refurbished "unlocked" on Ebay and it came with that software version. Surprisingly when i received the phone i could not get any network signal with any carrier, like if it was a locked device. Looking for a solution i found some people complaining about BOG5 firmware causing this issue and they downgraded to the BOAF lollipop's first release and solved the issue so i got that firmware, samsung drivers, odin 3.10.7 and tried to flash it, it didnt work, the operation FAILED and it returned the following message : SW REV CHECK FAIL: (tz) fused 2 > Binary 1. Booted up the phone and no changes were made. I downloaded the full BOG5 and try to flash it to see if it helps with the initial problem (No network with any carrier) but returned the same failed message but this time the phone didnt boot anymore at this point. It seems to be locked (The bootloader) since on it says "SECURE DOWNLOAD: ENABLE". I cant do anything to the phone to make it work and i dont know what can i do to fix the phone and get it back to life again. I need help, im lost and desperate with this dead shiny white brick
Try using Samsung kies 3, you should be able to recover your phone to stock.

Cant root retail note 4 yet. Need to unlock bootloader or hack kernel.
As for bricked phone:
Thats a typical problem when you flash either wrong firmware or using bad USB connection.
There are 3 things you need to know before you flash.
#1 Flashing with ODIN requires samsung drivers installed
#2 Flashing with ODIN requires USB cable connected STRAIGHT INTO THE MOTHERBOARD (not unto USB hub or not even into computer front panel) Ports behind the computer that go straight into motherboard are 100% guaranteed to work properly.
#3 Each version of ODIN is recommended to flash different versions of firmware. For example:
Odin 3.10 is for Lolipop 5.0.1 (Firmware N910VVRU1BOAF)
Odin 3.0.9 is for JellyBean or KitKat 4.4.4 (firmware built versions N910VVRU1ANI1 or N910VVRU1ANJ5)
Download Odin from droidviews.com/download-odin-tool-for-samsung-galaxy-devices-all-versions
Download firmware from galaxynote4root.com/note-4-stock-firmwares (Make sure you chose correct model)
Inside ODIN, uncheck "Reboot" option.
When flashing is done, unplug the USB cord/Remove battery.
Reinsert battery and enter recovery mode by pressing VolumeUP+Home+Power and hold all 3 untill you see recovery screen.
Then chose to "clear cache partition" and press Power to confirm.
Reboot
done.
should have nothing lost if flashed with exact same firmware (i think it doesnt even matter if you flash with newer or older, but some apps may need to be reinstalled if fail to work due to firmware swap, so just uninstall those and reinstall)
