Stock Lollipop for Tab 3 8.0 Wi-Fi - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys. Sorry if this question has been asked a few times, but is there a stock rooted Lollipop ROM available for the Tab 3 8.0 Wi-Fi? I've tried searching the Internet and thought I found a couple of leads, but they turned out to be infested with malware, which resulted in me having to uninstall some randomly installed programs along with other steps to remedy the situation. My main purpose for wanting to install Lollipop is to improve the performance of my tablet, as it has a tendency to get a bit laggy. Thanks in advance.

Not that I am aware of. Depending on your region, the highest Stock Android version was 4.4.2.

[Q] No "users" settings menu?

Hi. I'm not very well versed in Android. I got a Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 for free as a promo from my bank a year or so ago. I've always been frustrated that there was no multi-user support. A year ago I tried correcting that by upgrading to 4.2.2 which required rooting because there was no official upgrade at the time. I thought that would fix it, but it didn't. I recently revisited my problem and found a guide suggesting to install Xposed Installer's Multi Users module and I did that but the module again tells me to simply go to Settings->Users (if that setting were there, I'm not sure why you need the Xposed thing, but anyway). It still isn't there.
I don't know if its because I have a bank promo model or what, but I don't have the option and all the guides seem to suggest 4.2+ simply DOES have it. Well mine doesn't.
Is this something that a custom ROM would fix? If so, is there a Absolute Moron's Guide to Custom ROMs out there for this device?
Thanks for any insight.
Edit: I guess some specs might be useful, as I see there are different model numbers associated with "Tab 3 7.0". The model number is SM-T210R. Android version 4.2.2 (rooted). Kernel is 3.4.5-blackhawk+
Nevermind.
For some reason my unit wasn't receiving the 4.4 update. I manually updated to 4.4 and I now have the Users menu.

Confirming lack of ability to upgrade past 4.2.2 on Tab 3 Lite (SM-T110/SM-T111)

Hi all,
Just rooted my device for the first time today using TWRP and flashing SuperSU. I was hoping it was going to give me the ability to upgrade my device to a stock android version of Lollipop. As I'm looking around it seems like that is not supported by the community. I have used the search bar and haven't come up with much, except a few old threads when Lollipop was just released.
I found this thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2755532 that suggests nobody has modded it past it's final android update 4.2.2. The only difference it seems is it gets rid of some of the uninstallable Samsung and Google apps.
I just wanted to confirm that there is no development going on past 4.2.2 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (SM-T110) before I flash a new ROM from the list.
Thanks.
bump
I would also like to know, I bought the tablet today for my son, but never checked about the android version, and now i can't update the kids mode on it,so being to get it to update would be brilliant, if not i'll have to take it back and exchange it for one that has a newer version.
Maybe in the future:

SM-T700 (wifi) Rooted needs OTA updates access

Hi all
Recently I've rooted my german Samsung galaxy tab s 8.4 wifi with Kingroot 4.60 version.
Its acting very strange with restarts, killing apps etc. Well I guess it's a big mistake for even thinking of rooting at all.
I basicly rooted just to get rid of all these massive package of samsung bloatapps but now my OTA updates are blocked for ever. Even after unrooting my device the OTA update doesn't work for me.
I'm pretty new and yes call me "n00b" but please bare with me.
I need to fix it with your help and suppot.
Is there any chance to get original (not rooted or modified) OTA updates on a rooted SM-T700 wifi? I want to keep it original as possible though. I never flashed any android so I still need the opinion of an expert before totally killings my tablet.
Any step-by-step tutorials for a noob? Would be very thankful for your support.
Config:
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 wifi
Updated from 4.4 to 5.0.2
It really wouldn't bother me if I purchased my device on my own BUT it was a lovely birthday present of my little Sister so I really feel bad for messing with it. :crying:
Thanks a lot

Question regarding ROOT and ROMs on old Galaxy Tab 3

Hello, I'm new here and I'll go straight to my issue. A couple of days ago, I was gifted an old used galaxy tab 3 (3G and Wifi, 7 inch, SM-T211). The thing is, I did a factory reset from the OS BEFORE noticing it was already rooted and should've done it from the TWRP. What's more, it strangely left lots of data after it (super su is still installed, it left photos and accounts remembered). So, question #1: Is it safe to do a factory reset now, even after I incorrectly did it from the os. (btw, check root says the root is still ok) Then, my other question is regarding the OS version. It currently has 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and while it tecnically supports 4.4.2 KitKat oficially, the official repository from Samsung doesn't have a version for my tab's region (T211ZSANB1, Hong Kong and China). Question #2: Is it safe to install a 4.4.2 oficial rom for a different region (i assume not due to the differents 3G frequencies used, but still wanted to ask). Finally, while I looked up and down in the forum and the only rom I've found for my specific device (a CM11 kitkat build) has a non functional camera. Question #3: does anyone know if there isany fully functional build on the site and, if the is not, is it safe carry both a stock and a cm rom and switching between them on a regular basis?
Thanks in advance to everyone

Note 5 AT&T - Removing Bloatware and Touchwiz

I'm in the UK and recently bought an N920A running 6.0.1 (N920AUCS4CPK1), after some trial and error (and at times thinking my phone was bricked) I stumbled across norbarb's thread for Nougat N920AUCS4EQH1 and updated successfully (thank you!!!).
Are either of the two things mentioned in the title possible? From what I've read root isn't possible on these phones and I assume that would be required to remove bloatware and to prevent Touchwiz from running.

I totally switched the launcher to Nova Launcher which has a lot if options and is faster than the stock launcher.
If you go to the Applications menu, you can disable or uninstall most bloatware. No root is needed.
