What recovery did you flash first? Also describe exactly what you did step by step to flash that and TWRP. You might try to power down your phone and press power button /volume down and hold to enter your boatloader then release buttons when in boatloader. Then use volume key to select recovery and hit power button to enter it. It may be flashed and it's just needed a reboot back into recovery to show. Official TWRP for our a5 found on the TWRP website does work on our phone so it's probably something easy to correct. Let me know.

I follow your all steps and successfully unlocked bootloader mode and you mention that cwm recovery use i got successfully flashed recovery message but when i presss power button nd volume down... And enter into bootloader and hit the power button to enter a recovery when go into the recovery mode screen goes into the black...nothing happen..my mobile htc 816 lollipop version not kitkat version is effect ....what happen...

Try flashing your Stock recovery and test if the screen is still black. If it's not, try flashing cwm once more. That's what made my black screen go away.

Disregard. Not putting recovery in the right folder. Little mistakes make me lol.
Edit again, this recovery doesn't work for me. I flash it but when trying to get in to it, it just bootloops once then boots up normal.
Do you have the L09 variant?
It works for me, that's strange.

Yes I have the L09. I tried flashing it several times and each time, it bootloops once then boots up normal.
Just use my tool. So you can then flash the custom Rom.

that fixed in comparison with previous builds ?

Can I use your tool without unlocking the bootloader on my MT7-L09?
No, but there will be instructions.
Tried this but failed to install CWM .. seems like all are failing? Is there a certain firmware that the phone needs to be on?
Hi all, i flash cwm_mate7_20150410.img but don't boot in recovery mode.Any idea?

Hi,
I have a MT7-L09, I unlock bootloader and I installed TWRP but I can't flash anything because I encrypted my phone.
Does this CWM recovery handle mounting encrypted partition?

[Q] Entering Recovery mode on V20A bootloader

Hi there
I upgraded my Bootloader to V20A and tried CM13 and got stuck in boot loop.
The problem is that i can't enter the Recovery mode
Is there a method on V20A Bootloader to get into recovery?
I tried the normal button combo vol down and power but it won't work.
on V10D it worked fine.
Not, download LGUP as directed reinstall.
Then do not forget to install TWRP.

To enter recovery press and hold power + volume down, when the LG logo shows release JUST the power button for a second and then press it again. You'll get the factory reset message like on the G3 but it'll boot into recovery if you have TWRP installed.

H815 Bootloop Xperiaxperience Rom

Hi,
I flashed Xperiaxperience Rom on my International H815, after trying to install supersu as a systemapp via the app itself I am stuck in a bootloop I cant access download mode through hardware (I press Volume up + Power button but it boots into normal boot) and neither through cmd. the only thing I can do is boot into recovery but not into twrp but into a recovery where i only have the option to factory reset my phone. Is there anyway to boot to twrp manualy?

Tighten the two volume buttons and the power button when a black screen appears to hold the volume- button and power, smart mustget into in the loader in the boot loader to choose reboot (assuming that the system is not removed) If the system removed or updates are not established, it is necessary to set from TWRP backup https://yadi.sk/d/fSWO21rIr4ETs 4.4.4 for HTC Desire 820n 1-sim Euro.In TWRP to do so !!! in TWRP recovery Wipe-advanced Wipe - note 5 crosses Swipe to Wipe, then in TWRP recovery Restore Storage, Internal Storage,MicroSDcard TWRP backup,Swipe to Restore. mod recovery 4.4.4 recovery stock 4.4.4.rar https://yadi.sk/d/uYJ6uTY4tKrtA

If u can go to recovery mode by pressing power button and volume down... u can enter fast boot mode and install TWRP Recovery. After that u can find a TWRP backup and restore it..
