Configuring ipega pg-9037 - Nexus 7 (2013) Accessories

Hi guys
Been racking my brains as how to connect a ipega pg-9037 Bluetooth controller to a rooted nexus 7 (2013). I can sometimes get parts of it to work but still not been able to map the buttons to touch controls
I've tried using the ipega controller app (states this controller does not exist) and various other apk files to try and sort this problem. Already worked through the list of files listed on another ipega post on xda with no joy.
My end goal is to be able to play order and chaos online with the contoller instead of the touch screen.
Any help / walkthrough s to achieve this would be most grateful

[Q] Gamepad IME app, possible to adapt to adam?

Original Post:
Alright, I've been lurking forever for Windows Mobile stuff, but I just got an Adam.
I was trying to figure out if there was anyway to use a USB gamepad with the adam, and found an app named "Gamepad IME"
Apparently it works with pretty much every program I want it for. However, as the Adam has no market access, I can't find it anywhere. I don't have an android phone, so I can't rip the APK that way, and I can't find the APK anywhere on the net.
If anyone can get the APK for that app and post it here, that'd be fantastic.
First result for it when googling is the androlib page for it.
Update 2/2/11:
Ok, So I picked up one of these:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826179017
Which is a HID compliant gamepad. It's still not detected, I'm wondering if there's a compatability issue with the adam and the GamePad IME
Sven, the developer, has the source code up on his website: http://sven.killig.de/android/N1/2.2/usb_host/
Any intrepid coders care to look at it and see if there's any way to get it to function with the adam?
Here you go. I hope this will work, good luck!
You are fantastic. Thank you greatly.
Sadly, it seems that my USB gamepad(Which is just a PS3 usb adapter) doesn't function. I'll see if I can dig up any other USB gamepads that show up as general gamepads without drivers, and see if they work.
Anyone test the below
Xbox 360 usb controller
Wii controller via bluetooth
Ps3 controller via bluetooth
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
Tested PS3 controller via bluetooth, doesn't get detected when attempting to pair.
It seems the PS3 only enables pairing mode via usb through supported devices.
I don't own either of the others to test with, sadly.
I've tried a random PC gamepad and the xbox 360 usb controller but no luck here.

I wonder what it would take to get the 360 controller detected via usb.. would we need to compile drivers from windows or how would that work?

Love to see the Wireless 360 adapter for wireless 360 controllers.
Or even a PS3 controller via bluetooth should be achievable given the right devs who can look at the Windows Mobile app. I think it pairs via usb too.

What was that gamepad ime apk originally designed for? I can test the xbox 360 controller when I get back home with that gamepad apk.

It was originally designed for the Nexus S, but I don't know what controllers it was designed for.

[Q] Sixaxis button config help

I downloaded the sixaxis controller recently and connected my rooted s3 to the controller via bluetooth and everything went smoothly but when i play a game and press start it quits me out to the home screen on my phone. Do I need to reconfigure my controller mappings? Can I make my controller only work for games and not control my phone? This is a difficult thing to google so II'm hoping someone here can help.
Thanks.
Unfortunately I left my SixAxis at home so I'm unable to help you there, sorry!

I got it to work. I'm just an idiot and didn't enable the controller in the emulator. Thanks anyway.

[Q] Navigating CyonogenMod

Just went through the directions and successfully updated CWM and installed the boot menu. Took a few tries to get CyanogenMod to boot up but once I wiped the user data and reinstall it booted up fine.
Question, is the OUYA controller useless once in CyanogenMod? Do I need a keyboard/mouse to use it properly? What is the fan favorite for devices to replace the awkward controller?
Thanks.

This. I can't type from my OUYA remote to the onscreen keyboard. I've searched to find a way to enable this feature and couldn't find anything that would. I would think adding OUYA Remote as an input device might do it (Keyboard & Input in CM Settings) But, there is no option to access it.
I tried dl'ing Six Axis and it got late so I wasn't able to mess with it too much, but, it didn't seem like it was going to work. Essentially, I just want to be able to select the letters of the onscreen keyboard with the Ouya controller. Has anyone had better luck?
I have really retired my OUYA controller. Multi port USB hub with a USB keyboard, for recovery work, wireless mouse and a Bluetooth keyboard are my choices. I don't much care for games so this is just an HTPC for me. XBMC, Pandora, some weather apps, Facebook and tumblr. I haven't even tried the controller with any android games. Does it work in that respect?

Ive not actually tried it. It Navigates ok with wireless xbox 360 controller, so I`d guess its ok. Seriously, get a cheap wireless keyboard and mouse, for pref, not a bluetooth one but one with a dongle. Bought mine for £15 and its a joy to use. Browsing on a nice big TV is awesome.
You need to manually link the ouya controller in the blue tooth setting menu. Put the controller into discovery more than select find BT devices. You only need to do this once

[Q] ipega 9025 how to configure

Good day,
Hope im posting on the correct place.
Im new here at xda.
I own a galaxy s4 and ipega 9025 gamepad. Ive been using it on dh4 gameloft.
Now i like to play order and chaos online. But i can't seem to use it. No buttons or even console are working. Can someone please give me a walk through on how to configure, bind or use it on order and chaos.
Im currently rooted and im using ipega game center as a driver.
If you are wondering how am i doing. I tried binding it. And it was successful. But still my character is not moving. U also tried pairing it and it was also successfully paired and connected as a gamepad and still my character wont do anything when i my consoles and buttons on my ipega.
I would appreciate it if someone can give me a walkthrough and get it working.
Ghanks guys in advance.

ouya controller any good? with the touchpad, does it work?

anyone now if this works>
Yes, it works very well. I use the Ouya controller every time I need to emulate a mouse. Only some Geforce Now games won't recognize it well.

I can't get my OUYA controller to pair with the Shield TV. Did you have to do anything special? Mine just has the two middle lights blinking and the Shield is in pairing mode, but nothing.
Can anyone else verify that theirs works or doesn't work? I have two OUYA controllers and neither will connect to the Shield.
I finally got one to connect, but some of the buttons react differently than one would expect they should.
on my shield tv both of my two ouya controllers work pretty well for the basic system input. but some games seem to have problems with it.
it helps to put the file with the keylaouts in "system/usr/keylayout" but not in every case.
someone else should post a link to the keylayouts file (Vendor_2836_Product_0001.kl) because i am not authorized to do this. or you look it up in google

The file can be found here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9mcZwWJuSpBRjNqRDVvWlhNOWs/edit
Got my Ouya controller to pair, copied over kl file, changed perms to 644, rebooted but still gamepad testers are showing that it's incorrectly mapped. Oddly the same keys are mapped with or without the kl file.
Anyone else have this problem?
