Stick with what you have pal...i have the update but LP is so much better when it comes to battery life. MM is a little smoother but not that much that its worth updating. I get 2 days battery with medium to heavy use on LP, I had to put it on charge during the day to get through the day with MM.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Edit...
Oh and I have WiFi calling also

You only need to care about the 1.28, the rest of the numbers are for region and carrier specifics. You have the latest.

Stock Firmware for LG G Pad 7.0 LTE

I am looking for the stock original LG G Pad 7.0 LTE firmware. mine is acting really funky. The keyboard lags like crazy. and in the home screen long press to remove a short cut takes about 1 minute. I factory reset about 3 times already and still does it.
Since there isn't a forum for Pad 7.0 or Pad 7.0 LTE hoping someone have an idea where to obtain the original firmware.

OpenSource code is here
To revert back to stock try use 8.3 manual from this thread
Is this compatible to the 7.0 v730 also? I have the Sprint LTE version.

The method in the thread mentioned won't harm your device if it's not compatible, but it probably is.
My sprint version of the G Pad F7.0 just tells me to check model and serial number when I try to use the lg tool.
Is it the Wi-Fi or LTE model?

I have the sprint one also, and I can't find anything for this tablet. I have root but no recovery. It's LTE.

Recived OTA Update Today - 1/6/2015

Still 4.4.2
Software version changed from D85110m to D85110r
What a disappointment.
Also, if Lollipop is coming out so soon, why are we getting a 4.4.2 update now??
This is the 3rd update I've received. One when I first bought it(a week after release). In early December I received one to enable Wi-Fi calling features and inflight texting(which is awesome, by the way). I wonder what the heck this recent one does.
I work at T-Mobile in IT, I should probably be able to answer this, hah.
Yeah...when I saw that one come in at 250 +/- MBs I knew it wasn't lollipop.
I just got the notification what changes did this update bring

Didn't this update come a month or more ago? I've had the "r"update at least that long.

Yeah I still haven't gotten it on stock. I even hooked it up to the pc and Lg support says I have an upgrade available for a second then switches to saying I have the latest version. I have no intention on taking this one but still really weird.
On Tmobile my Lollipop update came through on 1/6.
I just received this two days ago too and since then my phone is actually slower!
I loved when I got the phone that it was crazy snappy and did not redraw the home screen or the app drawer each time and now it does.
If I hit home after being in an app long it stutters. If I use the app drawer, it stutters.
It never used to do that!
Anyone have any ideas what to do? I could factory reset but then I'd still have the notification about the update constantly there...

Here's a screenshot showing the software version, is this what you guys want to see? The update came came through last night and was just over 500 MB.. I'm on Tmobile in San Francisco, LG G3 D855. Is it unusual that I got this update?

You have a d855 on tmobiles network. The actual tmobile version is the d851. So this is not an upgrade for everyone else..

Trying to understand LG version naming

I think I have figured out that 10 is for L and 20 is for M.
What do the letters mean, does it mean that 10N is newer then 10G?
I just wanted to load the latest version on L for my phone which is H812.
Looking at this page confuses the crap out of me.
http://devtester.ro/projects/lg-firmwares/country.php?country=Canada
Well, in my case (I got an AT&T G4; H810) it's exactly as you say: the last version before Marshmallow was 10o, then it jumped to a 20 nomenclature (in Marshmallow, 20n build version)
In your case, it's a canadian variant. Maybe you should check the carrier or whoever distributes the phone's website and check which was the last version before Marshmallow; it should be somewhere..
Did someone say my name?

I know about this thread. It does not really answer my question though. I also don't seem to be able to find stock kdz of H812 100 which I think should be latest L build.

The letters might as well literally mean nothing to you because they are all basically the exact same thing. This whole "Oh I need the newest latest update on my phone" bs is completely ludicrous. Just use the updates that are there. If you can't find it, it's because no one had it, or no one had the decency to give it to me to upload to the OP. Not that they make a lick of difference anyways because they are all the exact same with the exception to small security patches and improvements that you wont even notice.
Good luck.

6.0

My question is since my ota update from 5.1 to 6.0 my battery life is terrible,I previously used greenify on the 5.1 and had fantastic battery life..mu apps are limited, none are apps the constantly aka messenger etc..I've tried everything from limiting screen time to using green along with the doze but into 6.0,, is it possible that the built-in doze is actually draining the battery life??. To me 6.0 was a terrible update, and is it possible to go back to 5.1, my phone is a vs985 lg4 with Verizon...it is unrooted also..can it be rooted and would that help??
http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-g4/general/downgrade-mm-to-ll-lgup-t3322616
enjoy. more i see people wanting to downgrade makes me want to upgrade to MM and do a video walk through i hope this helps
I gotta tell you my Verizon vs 985 ran fantastic rooted at 5.1,i uprooted because of missing ota's and installed the oat not knowing it was going to MM, now I'm teed off because I can't root MM. Easier to go back to what was great rather than played the guessing game on MM??.we'l see but 99.9 percent doing your way.,thanks again as no one has answers for MM.
