Hello to all
I have a G3 D852 (and before I had G2, 2X). I have a question. My phone is locked with Knock Code. During calls (incoming or outgoing) screen keeps unlocked. That means that someone that uses the phone to make a call or if I oass the phone to somekne to speak, will have access to everything.
I had the same issue with all LG models using Stock Based ROMS.
Right now I'm using Cloudy Lollipop. This was an issue for me since 2.3 Gingerbread with Optimus 2X. I have used every way of screen lock security (pin, password, pattern) but result is the same, phone is unlocked during calls.
Any solution? Am I missing something? I went through all settings but haven't found anything.
Thanks in advance
John

Hi guys, new here I searched the forums but am unable to find any similar topic. Yesterday I upgraded to 2.2 and everything went well, but the incoming/outgoing calls screen is all messed up. Check the image.
Plus, when the phone is locked, it doesn't show "slide down to unlock screen/answer call" anymore which I don't like.
Is this normal or what? What should I do?
Any help much appreciated.
Did you flash it or was it an OTA update. If you flashed it which ROM did you use?
just an OTA. The carrier is VIP from Croatia, don't know if that helps.
Do you have any apps installed that add features to your incoming / outgoing call screen or any app that may add options or interfere with the call screen in any way whatsoever. Check carefully through your installed apps! Could just be a case of an app not compatible with the froyo update. if not you may be heading for a hard reset
hi, thanks for your answers.
Seems like turn off/turn on fixed the problem.
lol good stuff
Just posting to say thanks, I had an identical problem and a simple on/off seems to have sorted it!
I was wondering what features people have found missing from the T-Mobile LG G3 that they had previously on the LG G2 or that they have seen on other carrier versions of the LG G3.
What I've noticed that I really really miss, is the "Wireless Transfer".. That was so awesome being able to put files on my wives phone without having to plug in her phone... Also was super fast over wireless N! I hope they bring that back.
The 3d audio recording or whatever that was... I don't miss it cause it didn't work all that great and put lots of holes in your phone for liquids to get inside.. But non-the-less, it's gone.
I've read that on the AT&T variant of the LG G3 that you can not only set custom ringtones for each person in your contacts but you can also set custom notifications.. People on the LG forums were saying they really want that feature back.
Maybe some of you out there have noticed other things missing that you loved about your LG G2, and maybe LG will read this and put things back in that we loved to use.
My girlfriend's AT&T phone is able to have swipe unlock appear before her screen's secure unlock does which I wish mine could do that way my screen still has a lock screen when turning on even if the delayed secure lock hasn't kicked in.

I can set custom ringtones for each person on my T-Mobile version. I don't see anything about custom notifications, other than custom LED notifications.
I got this phone about 1-1.5 months ago and it has been great to me except for one issue.
When I got the phone, I rooted it and installed Carbon rom 4.4.4 on it. Everything worked great except for one big problem.
When making or receiving a call, the phone would go straight to lock (screen off). the call would still go through but the phone would become very slow to wake back to the screen, and after unlocking, the Phone app (teleservice.apk) would not respond to any touch input. This meant I could not access my voice-mail, as I could not enter the pin. Using Developer options i was able to confirm that the touchscreen was still functioning. I had originally thought this was an issue with the specific version of CarbonRom that I had installed on the phone, so i posted to their thread in the hopes i could get an update/answer. CarbonRom for the T0lte has not been updated since 11-24-2014. I was done waiting so I decided to try another ROM. I first tried CM12, And while the phone app did now accept touch input, the phone still had alot of trouble waking after initiating or recieving a call, and the screen would turn off right after turning on most of the time. Then I tried a stable version of LiquidSmooth 3.2 (4.4.4) and it is still having the same problem.
The phone app is accepting touch input, but I can hardly get the screen to come on at all while a call is on. i am guessing an issue such as this presenting itself across 3 separate roms means something between the roms and the baseband/radio isnt communicating correctly? What am I doing wrong here? should I reflash the baseband? go back to stock and see if that works?
Baseband is T889UVUCMK7

Hello,
I don't know what happen or if I messed up with a setting by mistake, but now, everything I finish a call, the screen turns a bit darker and appears a notification with the time of the call, asking if I want to either save it or cancel..
It's really annoying and I don't know how to stop it. I was on cloudy ROM 2.2 for a long time, but it just started happening about 1 week before I flash the BlissPop ROM. Now in this new AOSP ROM, problem/setting still persists..
Can anyone tell me how to turn off this notification of the time of the call right I end the call? It's so annoying and I didn't had it before, so should be possible to go to normal..
Thanks in advance
Anyone knows what it is please?
It is call recording. Turn it off in g3 tweaksbox

Hi to everyone
After the latest update which was the security patch from october, my Z Play has a Bug. Locking screen was set to unlock from fingerprint or pin code. After the update screen can be unlocked just simply swiping it or with fingerprint. Do someone know how this problem can be fixed? It is really awkward. Thanks
Do you have on body detection active?
I thought that this is serious bug, but I completely forgotten that I had activated OBD which can activate phone if it "sense" that it is in your hands...
It's not enabled anything like that in settings.
And it can be unlocked by anyone, at least 2 of my college mates without anything enabled by/for them.
I have same problem !!
So what to do ? After a restart it works then fails
