New Zenus case from Korea: How to get one?

Just found this new case from their Korean website, anyone knows how to get one if you don't live in Korea?

Unfortunately the new one on the Korean site isn't on zenuscase.net yet, it's a different version. I too would like to know where to buy this new Block Folio on the Korean site, it's amazing and exactly what I was looking for.

You're actually getting synthetic leather for real leather price? Okay, not quite, I had to check the folio case again, $25-$30 calculating inflation. A bit surreal in favor of a design but I suppose coming from Korea is better than alike cases from China. Boy do those stink, literally!
For me, the new design's elastic band closure is a fail already. Short term expectancy fine, however long term is not suitable. I've had my eyes on a Zenus real leather classic diary case myself, and contacted a seller on ebay for a discount 'cause I'm getting one w/ a few other items on her e-store. She agreed and gave me -9% off (Zenus' site) everything shipped from Seoul.
So I'm pretty sure the case you want will show up on ebay eventually. Do you have the patience for it? You know a lot more are coming out when AT&T launches their release, right?
You could take this opportunity and befriend a Korean ahjumma at church or Korean supermarket, and probably get this even sooner. LOL! I'm thinking outloud to a scene what I will do if I'm in a rush for one of these puppies.

Have you found any other photo of the case? For example how it looks open, the back cover etc.

The only site with photos right now is the Korean Zenus site. Can't find any reviews of this new Block Folio case either. There is a youtube video which showcases how it opens and looks (located on Korean site). But as the user above me incorrectly posted, this Block Folio is NOT yet available through eBay.
I sent a customer service email to Zenus requesting additional information regarding the new Block Folio and it's availibility outside of Korea...I will share my response here when I receive it.

Ordered mine just now. I think it's a bug for the color selection they have "Real Black.Fierce Red" listed as one color option. During the checkout of both the site and PayPal, I put under the notes that I prefer Real Black. I also replied to the customer service agent from Zenus and let him know of the web error to help ensure the color preference of my order.
You can dog the synthetic leather or the poly bottom casing, but its a fine case for $29. The folio I've been waiting for.
Btw, tried dealing with Noreve as a substitute...they suck. Worst customer support on the planet.

For use as a tablet and for use with a Bluetooth headset; but how the heck would you ever use it as a phone (say headphone dropped connection) with this case?

With case closed it still has a cutout for the speaker. Both mics are uninhibited when closed as well. Just got this. A Sennheiser VMX 200. And a Freedom Pro BT keyboard. Excited

Thanks! I just ordered one of these as well. I already have their two genuine leather cases (carbon and vintage) but they both have magnetic clasps and I am starting to wonder how they might affect this device. Looking forward to going magnet-free with this case.

I was thinking of upgrading to either the jawbone era or the vmx 200. How do you like it? Does the bluetooth 3.0 actually make any difference in real life use?

I will let you know Wednesday when the VMX 200 arrives. But from what I've read and seen you can expect incredibly fast power on to pair times as well as what should be improved battery life.

I am considering ordering a Zenus case from their website but live in Southern Europe. Has anyone ordered a case from Europe and knows how long it would take for it to arrive approximately?

This is a stupid question but here goes... does anyone know if you can flip the front of the case around the back? Seems like a given, but the only pictures show it either closed, open on a flat surface, or open used as a stand. None of them show the case folded fully around the back...

No, I even asked some Chinese friends and it's starting to look like the extra bands are not released yet, but can't get it verified.

I'd love to get additional straps too.... Not only leather ones, I'd love to get an extra blue and green strap too.
But as far as I've seen, these additional straps seems not to be on market yet. Does anyone has info about that?

True that, I've just seen them. But... these are not original and imho, quite expensive considering the price of the band itself. Let's wait for an official release by Xiaomi and probably also these fake straps would lower their price.

Those are still silicon bands. I asked for leather or wrap around. :/

Anyway, I tried some third party straps in silicon; copies are 1 to 1 with respect to the original band, so the core fits in perfectly. However, the used silicon is not merely comparable to the original one and after few weeks, the bracelet loose with ease.

I suggest you to buy a Sony smart band swr10 strap.
I already had this sony band and I love the design, very manly.
The mi band core is a bit small inside but doesn't move at all (I use it in the pool too)
The drawback is you won't see anymore the 3 leds, but I don't care and the band is very classy and durable.

Did you have to modify the Sony strap? Could you maybe post some pictures of the Mi tracker inside the Sony strap?

I didn't modify the strap to fit the Mi band. It fits quite tight on the length that prevent the module to move, not on the width but that's not a big deal. I did that because I already had the sw10 and my girlfriend didn't like the Miband bracelet for a man.
I can't post you a picture since I gave the Miband to a friend but trust me on this, you won't loose it.

Thanks for your answer. The tracker itself isnt visible, right? So you can't tell if there is a SWR10 or a MiBand in it without looking underneath?

Since it has a more flat form that the swr10 module, you can fill it when you pass your finger on the top of the strap, on the sides of the module. It won't bother you nor is particularly visible.

Hey Guys,
Just got my G4 and am pumped! Only thing, I got the back with black leather and I am now realizing I would like a case to protect the corners etc. Most cases are not compatible with the leather backs. My question is, is there a place to purchase just a back cover for the G4? I've checked Amazon and no dice. If anyone knows where I can order a back cover that would be awesome!

Only place so far is eBay but they are over $80 shipped last time I checked. It's crazy.

That's insane. They're shipping from South Korea. I bought the Incipio case for my G4 but it fits awkwardly with the leather back. I really want to see if I can find somewhere to buy a back cover.

I've been checking Amazon and eBay multiple times a day to see if anything shows up but no luck. Heck, can't even get a true aluminum bumper without 2-3 week delivery.

Compared to the price on eBay, that's pretty good for the leather. I'd order the brown if it wasn't still pre-order status. Hopefully they add the plastic covers as well.

I haven't seen the plastic backs yet. I don't know if the qi charging cases have a leather or plastic back.

Hi Woozy101.
With regard to Mobilefun.com. I have purchased some chargers and belt clip cases etc for previous phones from Mobilefun.co.uk which is I presume a localised version of mobile fun.com. I never had a problem with them. Items purchased were reasonable in price and quickly despatched so my dealings have been positive.
As I say, I think mobilefun.com and mobilefun.co.uk and mobilefun.ie are all localised versions of the same company.

To my understanding it was locked due to selling their back. If it is a trade and no money if involved I believe you are within the rules of XDA.

Guys please don't discuss trades I don't want this thread to get locked. I want to keep this thread open so if anyone including myself finds somewhere to purchase backs for this phone we can share it. Thanks.

I theoretically would trade covers, but I wouldn't use this forum to arrange such a trade. Instead, I would put an advertisement on Craigslist or some other similar service, and just meet someone locally face-to-face. There's much less chance of getting ripped off that way, and you don't have to go without a back cover.
That being said, I would much rather just BUY a new back cover, as soon as they're available and not outrageously expensive. I'm not interested in paying $80 for a thin piece of plastic, however.
The mods aren't stupid, and so far nobody has talked about offering backs for sale or trade, so let's keep it that way.

So much for that route for those of you thinking of pre-ordering your cases from that site. Although, now I'm curious if their leather backs could be better or not....

[Q] Leather Back cover to replace plastic

I bought the G4 with plastic back, thinking that I can eventually replace the back with a leather one for less than the $40 difference. So far, I have been unable to find a leather back cover for less than that. The cheapest OEM LG cover on ebay is $60. Crazy right?
Anyway, I am sure as time goes on, there will be more and cheaper options.
Meanwhile, if anyone knows of one, please post here. Again, I am looking to replace the plastic back cover with leather, not applying a leather protector case on top. With G4 slightly larger than G3, I find it really bulky and ugly to add anything to it. I will most likely just use it naked with a screen protector.

Mobile Fun has brown and black for pre-order for $50. I think over at AC someone posted that LG might officially be releasing leather backs as early as tomorrow.

An LG rep told me that they will be selling leather cases starting Monday.

they may get cheaper in the future but I don't care.
I have the deep blue verizon variant and I ordered the red leather and the yellow leather.
I know the yellow could get dirty, but I'll only use that on certain occasions.

*LG asks for carrier. I'm guessing that just means some kinda branding, but it's barely possible that brand has something to do with how the case fits. I'm on VZW so I'll be specifying that on the cases when ordering.

Personally I think I will still hold out for the $10 price point. But it's nice to see a quick drop in prices on these...

Very interested to hear what you think of it. My completely uninformed guess was that LG's would be higher quality. But I'd love to be proved wrong.

Metal Band: Where to buy/Best Prices?

Does anybody know of anybody selling the metal band original or after market for a decent price?

I got mine on eBay for an unpleasant price. I saw on here some time back that seller dropped the price, I believe. I don't regret it, though. The steel band is pretty nice, so if this is the look you want for you watch, get it at about any price you can. I suspect it will greatly increase the value (maybe even pay for itself if the SW3 is in that high a demand later on) if you were to sell it later on.

My friend has one.
Since the strap IS metal but the watch core is not (it's plastic), you'll have to be careful not to accidentally hook on something because he did and the core broke off the strap. Now he has to use silicone black band, no chance to find a replacement metal band in Poland...

I am interested if it's not too late ...
almost impossible to find ...

I do not recommend it. I take care of my gadgets but this strap get scratches for nothing. The front is made from mc donalds toys plastic. A small scratch and not even deep and you will see the gray base plastic. No way to fix it. Stay with the black strap.
