So I've been having problems with my tab 3 7.0 after updating to kitkat (apps and process constantly stopping) and I decided to have a logcat running while opening youtube and after it force closed I checked the logcat and found a fatal exception with youtube.

I've got a problem with the Android Market whereby it will work as normal, allowing me to search for and download apps, but shows the error message "the server is not available..." whenever I select my apps. So, I can't see my apps at all.
I'm running AceSmod ROM and have cleared the market data but to no avail.
I found this in the logcat. Not sure if it helps...
"[24] BaseAction.run(): ApiException: com.android.vending.api.ApiException: Error from backend. Request=com.android.vending.model.AssetRequest, Response=INTERNAL_SERVICE_ERROR
I/vending (16292): [1] BaseAction.displayErrorUi(): Server error in com.android.vending.MyDownloadsActivity$MyDownloadsLoader: com.android.vending.api.ApiException: Error from backend. Request=com.android.vending.model.AssetRequest, Response=INTERNAL_SERVICE_ERROR"
Any help would be appreciated.

There's another thread on this

Hey guys,
I figured out what was causing the phone app force close (after phone calls) for some users.
After an in-place GB->ICS upgrade (maintaining existing data), there is a column missing from the contact logs DB (something to do with pinyin / Chinese input). You can see it by grepping logcat output for "pinyin". It causes an uncaught java exception, crashing the phone app.
Some have suggested a full factory reset to solve the issue, but if you restore your logs afterwards, you're back to square one. It's also overkill. A simple solution is to delete the following folder (using Root Explorer, adb shell, BTEP, etc):
Code:
/data/data/com.sec.android.provider.logsprovider
This will erase your contact history, but not your SMSes. Reboot immediately, and your phone app will no longer FC.
Thank you! That problem was really bugging me for the last month. :good:
Hello all,
After a factory reset or an update to V10c (update was available immediately after factory reset) my G4 keeps rebooting at random moments. I saved an logcat log to my computer via ADB which I will add as an link because it exceeds the forum limits. Personally I suspect the following error:
Code:
E/SQLiteDatabase( 7825): Failed to open database '/data/data/com.google.android.apps.messaging/databases/bugle_db'.
on line 44088 but I don't know for sure. I tried removing all SMS messages but one of them keeps returning after I deleted it.
I would like to get rid of this problem as soon as possible. Also, when booting back up I get an error message 'Unfortunately MirrorLink has stopped'.
Anyone?
Thanks in advance,
kvanzuijlen

Hello,
I keep getting the following error messages in the adb logs of my T800 every 5 seconds or so. I'm using the official 5.0.2 Android version supplied by Samsung.
[SDP.PUB_CRYPTOD] ERROR - Failed to open the netlink socket with error: Protocol not supported
[SDP.PUB_CRYPTOD] ERROR - Exiting
What can I try to solve that issue, or at least to stop the system from trying to relaunch the failing sdp_cryptod daemon?
I'm getting the same error all the time, and when it happens I cannot access Internet... Did you figure it out?
Are you using encryption?
I followed the exact same process for rooting my Lenovo vibe p1a42 as mentioned in the forum: https://forum.xda-developers.com/vibe-p1/development/lenovo-vibe-p1-stock-rom-custom-rom-t3306484
Once the process was finished the lenovo p1a42 reboots and displays: "Optimizing apps 1 of 130", ok so the apps optimization completes. Now some errors start popping up saying "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped working", "Unfortunately the nfs service has stopped", "Unfortunately the Notification center has stopped".
These three errors are too annoying and are killing me from inside. There is no background in the back just a dark color and the errors popping up.
I still have the hope to fix this by using the stock rom but the process includes flashing which means I really have to wipe data out. There are some picture of my holiday trip in the internal memory which I don't want to get deleted. And Whatsapp messages of friends including old memories. If there is anyway I can still install twrp and try to move the data out using the filemanager in it. Please help me how to install it. Thanks :crying:
Did you done something about that? If not I can help you.
