Guys what's ur option about the Desire EYE sound? Does both speakers sound the same? Because mine isn't fine and I want to check if it's faulty.
Both of mine sound fine and they both sound the same.

Hi. Before Desire Z I had Samsung Spica. And it had pretty good headphones. Definitely louder. It had good bass etc. Desire Z is just quiet on headphones. Doesn't matter weather on HTC's headphones or Samsung's. It's just quiet. When I'm sitting in bus I hear what people next to me are saying. I want to hear ONLY music. DSP Manager doesn't help.

get some in ear noise cancellation headphones then you dont really want/need them louder then the phone goes, if its any thing like mine that is.
Yeah ofcourse that it is some kind of solution but has one glitch. They are big
not the in ear ones?
Hello,
I would like to know if there any way to set up the phone so that it will ring while the headphones are pluged in? It only rings in my headphone speaker but I want my phone's speaker to ring!

** Talking about this issue, on everything being stock (not even unlocked bootloader or rooted) **
I bought two days ago hox, and its gr8 but its speaker volume is average and playing some music videos like "rain over me", etc video songs it gives crackling/stuttering sounds at some places keeping sound enhancer on. And if sound enhancer is off then video songs volume gets low, feels kinda trapped . I really didn't expected this though... Wish someone forwards this issue to get fine in next update like sound enhancer gets corrected according to speaker and make speaker more louder and crackling goes away from every where or if anyone has any solution already??!
I have seen this issue with xperia u awell that its software is advanced because being sony, but the speaker is off low quality so a mix match gives crackling sound on loud speaker on many songs and videos because of its xloud feature being on, though its a lot cheaper than hox. I had xperia arc s it never gave any crackling sound and is too louder then hox. So Any helping answers please??
I just also want to ask another thing that the USB cable I got with phone does not charges my phone though shows charging.. but I get a pop when battery is low that "ur phone is giving more current than ur charger and the bettery level still drains.. I plugged my xperia u's USB cable to HTC's adapter and it connects tightly to phone's USB pin and charges my phone to full without giving any problem... So still is it fine if I keep charging this way as main is the adapter that gives correct current through the USB cable to phone right??
Would highly appreciate answers on these main things as for now please!!

No one
No one can Help?!
Yes this is known, the next update should fix it (i hope). Mine crackles on some videos and I haven't found a way to stop it.
Oh and as for charging, just use the xperia one if it works. I use my hd7 charger on everything, my one x, my hd7, my iPhone, my Sony e reader. I haven't even unwrapped the official charger and cable

I've recently bought an HTC One x, Finally decided to get rid of my Tmob Galaxy SII. So far its been a great phone other then the battery dying quick which really isnt a problem. My Real problem is when i play music, the speaker sounds distorted as hell. It almost sounds being in a call with really low service. My question is does anyone have this problem? Is there a fix for it maybe or do i just have a busted ass speaker?

Sound is fine for me, did you flash any mods or anything that maybe broke your speakers?
HTC one x loudspeaker isn't that loud I can confirm that, I don't know about clearness although reviewers have stated it sound tinty and when you play a song is it through loudspeaker or headphone my HTC isn't that loud compared to the s2. I haven't played songs through headphone yet. I would love a tablet or phone with iPhone 4s speakers their so loud and clear they sound like a premium should do unlike HTC one x.

How can you confirm its not loud but not know about the clearness? anyway I agree its not the loudest but it is indeed clear because it doesnt go high enough to distort sound
I'm not reffering to headphones.. the beats audio enhancement is amazing with headphones. The back speaker sounds extremely distorted no matter the volume

Aren't we all haha but maybe its ROM related..? Idk just throwing out ideas here. Nandroid and flash something new to see if that'll help at all. Try a custom kernel as well if your feelin flashy
This is the third Rom iv tried. My closest idea was it has something to do with beats audio. When I disable it I get some of the distortion taken off however the music sounds ****ty :/

I have the following problem with my HTC One M9:
Some days ago people that I called or people who called me on my HTC One M9 suddenly reported bad hissing sounds during our call to that extend that they could not understand me. I can't hear those sounds on my side. The hissing noise seems come and go arbitrarily.
I already checked different circumstances switching off WLAN/Bluetooth/LTE/UMTS/2G but the hissing sounds seem to remain. I even did a factory reset, nothing changed.
Then I tried to record some sound via the HTC Voice Recorder app and immediately could hear the hissing noise when playing the recorded sound. Using headphones with an external mic: no hissing sound was to could be heard when listening to the recording. I even used a vacuum cleaner to eliminate the possibility of any dirt behind the grill.
Is this a common problem with the HTC One M9? Has anyone had this problem before? Maybe its a hardware fault...
I have had that issue too but mainly while in the car. Maybe it's the mic going nuts because its one of those that eliminates background noise yet in the car its like a sound studio..
I dont know the cause either.
