Hi,
i flash the new stock Marshmallow D85530B_00_1217.KDZ-File on a thread here and its passed.
I have test this a half day and all seems good and its nice.
Now, i would flash TWRP on it.
I give it temporary root with Kingroot and start Autorec (D855) on it.
On reboot to recovery does nothing.
No screen, no downloadmode, nothing.
When i connect it to my charger it was a little warm but when i shortly press the powerbutton no batteryscreen.
Is my D855 for ever hard bricked?
What can i do?
Please help
pull the battery and try again to enter download mode but i think if you used autorec you might have jacked some things up because last i knew it was for lollipop not mm i could be wrong though.

Yes, but only without battery. With battery nothing.
try to get into download mode by holding volume down with the battery slightly in but not touching the connectors and plug the cable in and the battery at the same time? idk it could work with some finesse
Hello, check this thread, I roughly explained what you need to do. Fixed my phone.

Thank for this tip.
But, its a finest work and for me a great look to short the correct pin under the chip with ground.
I have open the phone. I see the EMMC and see the "nano-pins" under this.
What is, when i short pin 2 and 1 or 2 and 3?
Its very dangerous?

Since 30B tot fike doesn't exist, flash the files I supplied (it's extracted .kdz with manually made partition.txt (same as extracted tot))

YESSS, it works!
Thank you, very nice.
Behind for 12 hours i come back to home from a party and i have a lot of alc intus ^^
Now, i tried this with a massive copperkabel with zinn, 0,3mm.
A little tip: You can use the SIMM/SDCARD-Slot for Ground. Its easyer to hold the other end on it.
After i flash the boot.img the G3 or the software makes a reboot and connection was lost.
I pull out the USB-Cable and pull in the plastic with the switches and the battery, switching on and its bootet. Very nice
After this i test the download mode. It was some errors on top of the screen (partition not found or so).
I flash all the other partitions from your extracted files (sbl1 on the last) and all seems ok. WOW!
On each flash i must make the procedure with shorting the pin and connect USB. But after the second was it easy ^^
I needed a maximizing glas (in german: Lupe, i dont no in englisch) while the pins true very smal.
Thank you and i wish you a super duper very nice year
I'm happy it worked for you too! Have a nice, brick free year!
May I also ask why do you install an app with lollipop images and lollipop description inside app and whole app is "lollipop" style on "marshmallow" ?
Trying to understand, not trolling
That's a good question. In some threads it's pointed out that you can root with kingroot and install twrp through autorec. They don't mention that you have to downgrade first Some people just like to watch the world burn, I guess.

Try flashing the rom less than 1 GB using the KDZ_FW_UPD.exe with CS_Emergancy mode it should work if your phone have enough battery power to keep it on in download mode for 10 minutes or so, if not then try through LGNPST using tot file. Or check if it charges in the custom recovery.
Correct me if I am wrong

Turn off your phone and put it in download mode by pressing and holding ‘Volume Up’ + ‘Volume Down’ and inserting USB and use the software to flash KDZ that I attached the screetshot, KDZ_FW_UPD.exe, this one can't flash the KDZ file bigger than 1 GB so if your KDZ is more than ! GB in size then download one that is less then 1 GB recover your phone charge it then flash your desired one. You are using the R & D Tool it always check the battery level and not allow you to flash if battery is less than 50%.
Note: If you have the mako bootloader install this tool might not flash the kdz (It never did for me) to come back to full stock you will have to use the LGNPST

If it's of any help, I had exactly the same problem just a few days ago... Read from this post further down, there were some suggestions from folks, and the final solution to my issue. Long story short, KDZ Updater can work with the dead battery, if you manage to find a KDZ that can be flashed with it. I found a 1.17GB KDZ that I was able to flash (any others, just slightly larger, would give me an extract error), and then just took it from there.
As mentioned, TeenyBin and LGNPST might be another solution, but I have no first-hand experience with it, so I can't comment...
Oh, and BTW, you are saying you "tried to use KDZ Updater", but your screenshot shows the LG Mobile Support Tool -- that's a different application, and a different process. Look at a screenshot by @hackenggr a couple of posts above -- that's KDZ Updater.

I think because you decive is converted with mako bootloader LG software not found the LG phone so they stop.
Use the LGNPST to flash the E975 tot file same way you did with teenybin just rename the .tot to .bin and you will be on the LG stock and software will work fine to your desire KDZ
Hey guys me again, I have been trying since 2 hours to unbrick my 2 days old Galaxy tab s 10.5, After successfully rooting my new tablet I decided to make a back up of my stock system, I used TWRP recovery to do so, after booting successfully on TWRP, I wanted to make sure I will have a clean image, I manually erased every possible thing on my table by selecting every option on TWRP, once done and on my way to reboot, before quitting TWRP warn me that there wasnt any system, and even with this warning I quit. Result I bricked my tablet hopefully "soft", to get even better I remembered that I didnt had a micro sd card on my tablet and by consequence I must have erase TWRP and every possible restore solution, the table get stuck with the Boot logo and thats it... I can get at least into download mode,. I tried Kies 3 but Im getting an error that my device is not recognized and for Odin I do think is connected but I dont know how to use or what to install or what to do. And I don't get it why my program seems so buggy and I can´t select any of those options.
at least I could root my phone easily.
ps: I did try every possible combination to get into recovery mode and is just impossible there is no way.
if anybody rescue me I seriously cant thank you enough I googled around and did search a lot on the XDA forums, I'm now more scared to tweak around and make things worst , and maybe if not to late permanently dammage it.

Hey maxal, thx for replying, my English is really not the best, if you think its not understandable I will re edit and try again.
You will need to find and download your firmware from Sammobile http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-T800/BTU/
and use odin to reflash your stock firmware.
Read this too. http://theunlockr.com/2014/08/09/how-to-unroot-the-samsung-galaxy-tab-s-10-5-wifi/
TURNING THE DARNED THING OFF:
Here's the problem. If you are at the Samsung splash screen or boot looping Recovery, you cannot turn your tablet off by just pressing the power button and you can't pull the battery. This prevents you from getting back into Recovery or download mode to restore your nandroid backup or use Odin
So here is what you do:
1) Plug your tablet into your computer (this is important!).
2) Hold down the home, volume down and power buttons until you boot into download mode. Once you are prompted, push the volume up button to enter download mode completely.
3) Now, once in download mode, hold down the power and volume down buttons (not the home button this time) until you screen goes blank (your tablet MUST be plugged into your computer for this to work!). Release the buttons and you will see the battery symbol on your screen. Your tablet is now off - thank god.
4) To enter Recovery mode, hold the home, volume up and power buttons down until Recovery loads.
5) Restore your nandroid backup if you have one.

I don't know which firmware you should have as I don't know where you are from, but I don't think it should make much difference, the firmware I gave the link for is the UK one.

But please keep in mind for the future that the load to your Tab better the original firmware that corresponds to its original CSC Region code. This can help you avoid some of the problems in the firmware flashing. How it may be defined, you can read in this thread:

Hi maxal,
Download via KIES will not check root If you do not connect the tablet to a PC. It only checks the serial number and model type of your Tab for search new updates firmware with determine the correct CSC Region code. You can even download the correct firmware by KIES to your PC without having to connect the tablet and then save the file firmware (this requires some tricks) and flash it via Odin. To do this, you need only enter the serial number and model type of the device in KIES menu Tools -> Firmware Upgrade and Initialisation. More details have here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58527780&postcount=5
In this case you no need connect the tablet to PC. It also confirms ashyx here:

As the title says, i mistakenly selected D855 in Fulmic ROM(Noob mistake). Just this morning my friends suggested Fulmic ROM so i decided to download and flash it. I already had root and TWRP 3.0.0-0 installed. After the download was done, i copied it onto my SD Card and booted into TWRP. In TWRP, i backed up my data as i had already done a full backup a month a go. I was on Stock KK 10C.
When i selected Fulmic's zip, it asked me to select my device but i noticed there was no D851, but there was the at&t version, Verizon version, D855 etc... So i selected the D855 as i taught somehow the D855 and the D851 were somewhat similar and that it would run on my D851, (yea... i now know it was such a stupid assumption i made). So i flashed the D855 onto my D851 and once it was done, i hit the reboot button and the device went off and never came on. I tried booting into TWRP but nothing worked, then i took out the battery and pressed vol up and inserted the USB and it showed me an empty battery sign with a yellow triangle on the lower right side of the empty battery.
When i connect the device to Windows, it shows up as LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port.
I am pretty lost here, i dont know what to do right now. I have been reading lots of threads but i havent found any thread that explains how to deal with such a situation.
Any Help is appreciated.
Regards Mickey.

If all else fails, you should be able to restore by following the instructions for a hard brick recovery. I warn you it is not a procedure for the faint of heart, but it saved my bacon (AKA, LG D850).
It involves shorting two pins on a chip (can't remember if it's the SOC or not, but it hardly matters). I managed it with a pair of needlepoint tweezers, but the guide instructs you to use a fine wire. I can't imagine doing it that way, but maybe you can.
In any case, the guide that worked for me is here, "http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/guide-fix-hard-brick-recovery-guide-t3132359" . Just follow it to the letter and don't compound your earlier mistake. (Not trying to be a jerk; just advising against rushing the process or second guessing any steps. You might think it can't get any worse or you've got nothing to lose, but it's still possible to make it worse by doing something wrong.)
Good luck!
Hello there, First of all i am new here, This is my first post here... well let's continue with my problem.
I bought a LG G4 about 1 month ago, everything was going perfectly, but 2 days ago it start to install a new android version on the phone, it says a new update was there, so i tried to download it... Everything goes ok and then my phone start with problems, i can't unistall any app because my phone restart, can't do a password because it close, can't use my phone like always...
So i tried to downgrade my phone to a previous android version, i tried this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/guide-lg-g4-stock-firmware-to-stock-kdz-t3107848
I used the kdz method using LG UP, i downloaded the firmware (PR H810PR10a_04.kdz) so i decided to follow the step in the thread mentioned before, everything was ok, it show up 100% and say complete, so i decide to unplug my phone and tried to power up, so what's up? My phone died, i can't make it power up, can't access download mode, can't acess factory reset or anything else, It doesn't power up using power on button, tried to charge and does nothing, PC don't reconigze it...
So maybe i bricked it, Is there any solution to this? As i need help... I am afraid of losing my phone as it was working amazing before.
Thanks you in advance.

Just give another cable a try. Maybe it's just the charger. Otherwise you may be another victim of the motherboard issue. Which serial? 5xx?

Pull out he battery and you will see the serial. If it starts with 5xx your chances are big that you're another victim of the main board issue.
Check the other threads regarding bootloop and if you wanna recover your data try the freezer or oven method (search for those here)
.

I have read others thread regarding the bootloop issue but it's not my problem... The main problem is my phone is dead... I can't make PC to recognize it, can't put chargers, don't even give any sign of life to power up, LED don't power up... So how can i do any of these methods when i can't make it awake?
Thanks you.
Me too, my phone doesn't turn on anymore, please help
Any solution to this please?
Your phone is proably refurbrished, and it have no all h810 parts inside. So proably it's not H810, and you flashed image for this, that's can be problem. you have to disassembly your phone and check parts.
I buyed it new so it's not refurbrished

Hello,
In the rush of flashing the january update I've flashed by mistake the Pixel 5 image bootloader (my wife's phone)
Yest that's stupid, I've done this every months for years with several Pixel phones, but I was listening to music at the same time and did dl the wrong image...
Anyway my phone is now hard bricked but I'm sure there must be a way to enter the other bootlader slot and/or entering a special recovery tool.
I cannot enter bootloader anymore
Requesting some help as I'd avoid to send it for a reflash...
Thanks !

Can you still access Fastboot Mode?
(pressing and holding both Power and Volume Down simultaneously. You should see a green android on his back)

No that's the problem.
But there are 2 bootloader slots (a and b) and I'm pretty sure there is way to switch from one to another with a special tool or button sequence.
I've already tried many button combinaison with no luck.
This kind of error is so stupid that I hope there is a way to force a rescue bootloader or something on boot.
yes but you need to be able to communicate with your phone from your pc.....if you cant access fastboot then how will you change partition?

The only special tools we have are either the pixel repair tool or the android flash tool. If both can't get you fastboot / firmware flashing, that's it. Hardbrick. Google Pixels don't have "special" hardbrick solving tools, like older OnePlus had. You need to contact Google.
Ok I'll get in touch with my local reseller on Monday then...

Do you remember what went wrong?
EDIT: Uh, never mind. So you accidentally used the P5 fw. Why on hell would the device accept the P5 fw at all?!
Same problem here: downloaded from a blog the latest firmware. They have linked the pixel 5 firmware and named it as Pixel 6 pro full firmware. Just flashed without looking and now the phone wont boot. No reaction at all, no fast boot or whatsoever. Have filled in a repair request in my google account, because I’ve bought it directly in their store.
Do you think they have a way to find out what went wrong? I meant the phone is not giving any signal, regardless of which button combination I press. Worst case: I have to pay for the repair…

WOW. So even holding volume down and power until you see the fastboot screen wont work? sometimes you have to hold it for a while. I say that because when the December firmware came out I accidentally flashed the wrong region but was able to access bootloader and so was able to rescue myself. So sorry dude. That really sucks.

Yes worst case we'll have for repair but they could have implemented a simple device id check on their script prior flashing anything, especially for the bootloader.
Anyway, I'm alive, in a good health and it's just a phone

You can flash gobbledygook to your phone if you're not careful. You can flash a non-Google phone's image. Flashing just flashes what you tell it to flash.

That sucks. I'm sure you know now, always go straight to the source for everything if possible, firmware, platform tools, drivers, BIOS / UEFI (for computer).
SDK Platform Tools
Get the Google USB Driver
Pixel 6 Pro Factory Images
You can also Google for official pixel firmware and the top search result is what the want. I know it doesn't help you now. Good luck with your phone!

After having played around with the January patch (came from December Europe A4 firmware that was pulled), it seems that the FP scanner got even faster and more reliable, even though it's not stated in the patchnotes. Maybe it's just placebo.

So many folks have reported the exact same thing, I'm really, really curious just how much faster it will seem when I get around to updating.

I noticed how faster it was before I saw everyone else posting about it, so at least no placebo on my end. Hope you find the same.
I know that you tried to get into Fastboot. Pixel 6/6P also has a Recovery mode. I can get to it from a working phone.
I would think that there is someway to boot into Recovery mode from a dead phone via button combos.

I'll do the exact same process when I'll get my phone back but this time I'll check the image name at least 3 times
