Had anyone else noticed hanging or lagginess when using chrome? If I look at this page as an example then it seems OK for a couple of second but then hangs unresponsive for about 10 second or so. Sometimes I get a message about chrome being unresponsive.

Something like Wikipedia is a really simple website. I wouldn't expect problems in loading it. My wife iPhone 5S is like lightning when browsing compared to this. Other websites behave in the same way...

The standard twitter app constantly crashes on my Galaxy Nexus - does this happen with anyone else? Tweetdeck doesn't exhibit this behavior but I would like to use the generic twitter app.
Any thoughts? Thanks.
No issues myself, bar it not notifying when it should
Mine doesn't crash per se, but it is still not optimized for ICS as far as I can tell. Like hitting the home button does not take me completely to ghe top of the list.

I wonder why it crashes for me...I am running 4.0.1 straight out of the box ics. Frustrating to say the least.
Yeah I am getting crashes sometimes as well, usually when I scroll through the list of tweets, always opens back up and runs fine after the crash
I have a memory issue with my GNex. It started maybe about a few weeks ago, when I was using Google Chrome. I'd be browsing for a bit, and when I hit the home button it brought me back but it had to reload the homescreens, like it was using up too much memory or something. Lately, it's been getting worse. I can load up facebook, scroll down a bit, hit the home button, and it'll have to reload the homescreens. I've tried looking at the apps I've had running in the background and closing them, but it doesn't fix the problem. Anyone else running into this who uses Chrome? Its not a major issue, but it's annoying. I'm not sure if it is Chrome causing it, but it only happens with Chrome.
I have a VZW Nexus with stock, unrooted 4.0.2
Try downloading the all watchdog. It will tell you if one of your apps is using more memory than it should.

Well, I downloaded it, but I still get the reloading of homescreens when I hit the home button on Chrome and got no memory warning or anything. So I'm not sure what is happening then.
I think they made the memory management a little less aggressive in later builds (4.0.4).

For some reason, after a body of text has been typed out, the keyboard starts lagging HORRENDOUSLY. It just gets progressively worse. Here's a video to show you guys what I mean.

I haven't tried LG's keyboard because it's ghastly. This happens on every SMS app, or, as you can see, on Tapatalk. I was originally writing this thread on my G4 but it got so bad that I couldn't stand it anymore and decided to type it up on my laptop.
After the update, the lag was not there. But after some use, it looks like it's back. I have tried restarting the phone and what not, factory reset, etc. to no avail.
Has anyone else been experiencing this?
Ditto here. Lags less then LG keyboard but still not ideal

People have reported less lag if the LG keyboard is disabled or frozen.
Mine has been fine, especially after the latest update to 10N on T-Mobile.

I just got the Nexus 5X some 2-3 weeks ago. First week or two was smooth sailing after setting up the phone as a brand new phone in the initial setup process. I did not restore a backup from a previous phone.
Since then, I've had occasional freezing of apps like the homescreen freezes momentarily and becomes black and unresponsive only to be back to normal shortly thereafter. Likewise I had freezes with Google Music and Chrome. Today however has been my worst attack of freezing. I am reading some articles on Chrome and the bloody thing freezes like crazy. Scrolling is unresponsive and very rough, the interface becomes unresponsive. Home/Back/Recents buttons become unresponsive. I am not sure if the websites are at fault, they are salon.com and huffingtonpost.com that I am reading. And this issue seems very pronounced and doesn't go away in a short while like before. I still have the problem after like 10-15 minutes. Looks like other apps like Facebook are mostly okay, although I see a occasional slow down there.
I note that I am charging my phone while doing this browsing and I am wondering if the heating up of the phone due to charging is causing issues. Is this what people refer to as lag on this phone? Is there a solution?
EDIT: I used an app called "CPU temp" and saw the temperature to be around 39-40C. Also, I read elsewhere on XDA that the CPU is throttled at around 37C in the default kernel. So could this be why I saw all that lag? Now I don't seem to have any issues with Chrome anymore and I can navigate any page including on Salon.com fairly well although Salon is still a bit laggy on not just this but other phones I have, so their website may also have some issues.
Anyone experiencing this? I get it a lot on Chrome. The page will just refresh itself while I'm looking at a webpage. And it does it frequently, sometimes every 5 seconds or so. Sometimes not at all.
I've just started seeing this too. Happens in Chrome, Facebook, YouTube and a handful of others.

Why start another thread on the same topic after commenting to it in the original thread?
Yep I thought it was the only one with this problem.
This happens with about 50% of the apps that I use. At first I thought it was one of the apps that I was using that drawers on top of other applications, but what I've been doing is clearing all the apps at once. This seems to alleviate the problem for now.
