I decided to sync a few albums and I noticed while the Nexus 6 was downloading the music to the watch it was none response.
After the music download was completed no issues.
Wonder if anybody noticed something similar ?
The Nexus 6 has 6.01

I am having issues syncing music to my Galaxy Nexus using Mediamonkey.
When I select the Auto-Sync option, it just freezes on "Preparing list of files" and then tries to sync a few songs before stopping the whole operation.
Has anyone else had any issues or know of any better ways of syncing music to the Nexus? And please do not say "use Google Music"!
Maybe try doubletwist sync?
Doubletwist doesn't support MTP devices like the Galaxy Nexus.
It works for me

Works for me too. Just synced about 12gbs of music last night with it.
How did you get doubletwist to work?
I just got the galaxy Nexus LTE and I'm trying to sync my music with it. This whole MTC/PTP thing is throwing me off! I got the driver from samsung for my nexus, but it didn't fix any problems. With MTC, doubletwist tells me to put it into USB mass storage mode, which the Galaxy Nexus doesn't support, and PTP mode doesn't do anything in doubletwist. It just sits there.
How did you make it work?? HELP ME!!!

I use Twonky server on a nas and 2player on the phone. You could also set up an smb share and use one of the many file managers that support them.

I have given up with Mediamonkey. It did sync with the Galaxy Nexus the first time I got the phone but ever since when I have tried to add more music it failed on me every single time.
But I have managed to sync my music to the Galaxy Nexus using Windows Media Player. It works brilliantly with all of my music being synced to the device instantly! So if anyone is having issues syncing music or other content then use Windows Media Player!
Drag and drop also works fine by the way but I prefer how syncing software sorts my music into appropriate folders onto the device.
(Sorry for my English)
I also have this trouble. What you recommedn to fix it? I have 1-2 GB of music. I'am dont want user Windows Media Player because it's not downloading tags and covers.
Has anyone else been experiencing the following? Any ideas on how to address it beyond simply using a different app or not using the feature?
I got around to syncing a ton of music into the Google Play Music and then proceeded to sync down to my GNex. I've been having issues ever since with the Play Music app as it has now three times (at least that I've caught it doing so) in the last month or so completely dumped all my downloaded music and proceeded to re-sync and download the music all over again. Thankfully, it only downloads over a wifi connection as I don't have an unlimited data plan and have it syncing approximately 9 GB of music, but the constant downloading is also a huge battery drain.
I imagine transferring the files via cable rather than using the Play Music feature to sync would otherwise address the issue, but doesn't exactly address the root cause and makes what should be a good feature utterly worthless.
Anyway, thanks for any help in advance.
For the last 24 hrs I have been randomly getting this notification. All applications linked to my Google account are functioning properly. Is this a Google problem?
Stock rooted JB here. FWIW my Nexus 7 has been doing this also for the last 24 hrs. (leads me to believe it is a Google problem.
Annoying as hell getting this 5x a day. No specific app appears to be causing this under running applications.
Yup, I am getting that same notification at least once a day. All my Google accounts are updated and synced so I am stumped as well...

I'm not a Galaxy SIII user, but I got here by Google searching for the same problem on my Note II running rooted stock. It just started within the past 24 hours.
I'm guessing Google has some kind of issue right now that will get ironed out eventually.
Edit: I long-pressed the notification and checked the app info and it is coming from Google Account Manager.

Google's servers were having issues, seems to be fixed now.
Hello, I just got my '14 Note 10.1 in the mail a few days ago and love it so far, but no matter what I do (uninstall/reinstall updates, clear data, clear cache, resynchronize accounts on this and other devices, pause/resume downloads) Google Play Music refuses to work.
Persistent Can't Download Music Right Now error for the past couple of days.
A song will appear to be loading, then it just skips down to the next one with no error message. I've had this happen to one or two songs on a former tablet, but it would always tell me that it couldn't play the requested music. On the Note it's roughly 3/5 tracks that wind up getting skipped without any warning. This includes music I have purchased from the Play Store on this device within the past 24 hours.
Is there any known way to solve these problems?
Hi,
I'm having a constantly recurring problem with the new Google Photos app on my M9 and my old M7. When trying to play a video that isn't on the device but in the cloud it causes the app to crash. This happens every time on both devices when playing videos not stored locally on the device. The videos play fine on my Nexus 7. I've tried uninstalling and and reinstalling as well as clearing app data etc but the problem persists regardless.
I've tried searching for this but haven't found much besides a post on the HTC One subreddit and on the Android Central forums.
I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this same problem? As I said above it's not videos stored locally on the phone but videos stored in Google Photos/Drive.
HTC one m7 also crashing
I am experiencing the same thing on htc one m7. Videos from the Google photos app crash every time.
