Black spot on camera
Hello,
Recently I have noticed that there has been a black spot on the camera. This only shows in 13 megapixel mode but not in 10. I have checked the lens and its all clean. This phone is about 5-6 month old. Could it be that the camera is broken or something is inside the lens?

Its not a hole in the wall. Seriously
31fahmi, you just made my day.
There's got to be something there. The reason that it doesn't show on 10mp mode because that's a 16:9 mode, which means that top and bottom of the image are cropped in order to make it 16:9 from 4:3.
Megapixel ghosts ha ha

Should be a damaged camera module, I had this on my nexus 5 after I dropped it, same, no scratches or cracks on the lens, just get a RMA

Hey
I've got a big problem with the camera. Everytime I try to make some pictures, the pictures go blurry. I tried to tap on the screen to refocus but that don't work. When I try to make a picture from an object that's really near to the camera It's sharp. Tried diffrent ROMs but It's always the same.

Macro mode?
I had the same problem. It got fixed when my phone fell of the sofa. It happened again and I just hit my bells with my phone an it worked gaonSo just gently whack your phone against your body. That fixed it for me.

I would demand a replacement, my camera has NEVER had that issue and I'm on my 2nd One X.
Uhm, never happens to me as well. Focus is always spot on, depending on the setup.
Whacking your phone? Sounds nasty But seriously, could mean that your lense is kinda stuck and needs a "gentle" slap to get its ass up and running.
Try to gently slap it.... tender love.
Yeah, same here... my friend has a One S, same camera, same software but... different focus... The One S can capture a good macro but with One X you can't...
I don't understand this if One series has the SAME camera...

Wow, in the Note 2 the iPhone 4/4S was transformed into an iPhone 5.
What are we supposed to see?
A clearer picture?

I think this it's just optical physics. Because you take the picture in an angle to the bottom corner....
Try to place the camera (on the back) directly in the same level as your marked line and everything will line up. This is because of the heights of the stacked devices and the angle in which you taking the photo..
Otherwise this thing is amazing and better as Photoshop...

This issue is clearly caused by the iPhones reality distortion field.

the iphone is shying away for sure.....it has realized it's underdog to the samsung....
cameras dont snap what your eyes see... they snap what the camera lens sees. the camera lens is at the top of the device. if you looked at both phones from the same position, it would look the same as it does in that picture.
to anyone has the incipio dual pro for the HTC ONE how do your pictures comes out if the flash is fired?
test shots - same room, without and with case . very strange. i am very impressed with the first picture. the room was completely black windowless conference room.

I had the same problem with my Nexus 4. I would take shots and wonder why the picture always came out yellowish with flash. Turns out my finger was too close to the LED lol

I walked around my house all morning, taking flash pictures in the dark with and without the case and never saw any difference between the two images. When I can, I'll post some of my comparisons, but I'm starting to think my house might just be yellow...
Hi,this is very weird. When I took picture to "lights" like a lamp, or a screen, i have this problem. Is this normal? If not, is there any way to repair it..

Well, firstly, have you tried using IPA to clean the camera lens? Has the phone gotten wet recently? Looks like oil smudges on camera lens. Or water underneath camera lens.

Hi, no this is not a problem of water or dust, the phone take great photos to close objects, this only happens in low light conditions, or when taking a photo to a light
It's actually natural... very few cameras won't do this

Hello, when my nexus 5x turn on, after the word "Android" disappears, appears (in the same point where was the "Android" word) for 1 sec a small blue horizontal line , that vanish when the phone turn completly on. What is it? I don't have any another problem.
I have the blue line too since I bought the phone. Here is an image (sorry for its quality).

The line appears in every reboot for me... Can it be a sign for bootlooping?
I think it's gpu's failure.Try to test your phones in some hard gpu conditions, e.g games.
