Can anyone help me, My new Xperia S failed to boot after 10 days of perfect working. It suddenly switched off and upon restart repeatedly "SONY" and "Xperia" keep flashing.
No Warranty
Never fell or slipped
Tried SUS, Software repair
Tried Flash Tool but system not detecting the device.
Can anyone help me out please or is it dead..
Ravi
Retry with flashtool
Push power button and vol+ for 10 second( until vibrate 3 time) , next connect to pc with vol- buttone pressed and green led will apper. Next flash with flashtool. You're having a bootloop
It's very hard to brick Xperia, bootloader is quite unahackable,

Thanks but i tried and it failed

If you have unlocked bootloader flash any kernel with cwm, do wipe cache, dalvick cache, made a factory reset, and reinstall all with flashtool
If bootloader locked, download another stock Rom , when in flashtool tick all the box( also wipe data) , and flash

Its still the same, Irritating and repeating SONY and Xperia logos.
So, you can't even connect your LT26i to your PC? It just powers up and goes into a never-ending bootloop?
Any are you SURE you're connecting your phone to your PC correctly (for FlashTool?)?
Like:
-start FlashTool and select stock FW to flash
-hold vol- (and only vol-, no power or other buttons)
-connect to USB, quickly (have the cable ready, just be quick, but don't be clumsy)
-flash the stock FW
Are you SURE you're doing EXACTLY like that?
Try installing adb drivers and using fastboot, flash the right kernel to sxs , then using cwm, wipe data , dalvik cache and fix permissions. Then reboot.

What are you flashing?
Sounds like a bad kernel problem to me. What rom were you on previously? Did you try flashing that one?

By ROM you mean - the software - It was ICS 4.0.4
6.1.A.2.45
I tried flashing that 2-3 times but nothing happened, how to solve kernel issue?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1729280
Flash that via fastboot and see if it works.
Also why isn't SUS working? Bootloader unlocked?
If u r in ICS, get a proper kernel.elf from net and for jellybean get the right .elf file
.
Seqrch and Download adb drivers along with fast boot from the internet for the Sony xperia s . ( to install adb drivers,
Check a YouTube video on " how to unlock boot loader xperia s part 1" ) use that video to install adb drivers.
see the video on how to open the fast boot command window.
Then with the right elf file (kernel) in the same folder as the fast boot, type fastboot boot flash kernel.elf
After u get a "done" message, type fastboot reboot
Then access the CWM by holding volume up button during boot(in the beginning)

No, Bootloader is locked. Dont know why SUS is not working. is there any possibility of any hardware failure??
As the title says, my volume buttons doesnt work, i can live with that but i got a small problem .. i have MW Redux ROM installed on my Desire and if i want to change it to something else, the only way is to press the Power Button and go to Reboot to Recovery. Okey, but if i will flash a new ROM and something will go wrong, or the ROM doesnt have the Reboot to Recovery option, how can I go to recovery without this option or power up the phone and then press the buttons? I know if the ROM is installedn, there are apps to reboot to recovery BUT if i will be in the recovery mode itself and something go wrong like endless bootloop etc.. and i want to change the ROM or fix the problem in recovery, is there another way to go into recovery mode, like through a PC or something? Thanks

Power + back button wil get you to bootloader but you won't be able to select recovery. You can, however, go from bootloader to fastboot usb and enter recovery via adb on your computer

Is the fastboot accessible? Which recovery you use?

I don't think so. because It won't let me go back in to select bootloader mode. I just wiped in stock recovery mode.

The fastboot mode should work atleast. Press the power and volume down keys to enter into fastboot mode. If that works, then download the global fastboot rom and see the procedure to flash it via MiFlash (if you don't know).
One of my friend having same problem no recovery mod accessible I flashed global ROM using fast now its done.u should also try.

sorry but i can't see a way out.have you bootloader unlocked? if you have bootloader locked you could use warranty.say to asus you just did an ota and then phone bricked.dont use the word brick say just it won't power on.approach is the key in this cases.approach to them like a total noob.call them, don't email them.if you are young, let someone older to talk,a relative or someone like this and give to him a text to follow.is difficult to think a noob thinks to do some difficult moves as root, unlocking bootloader....they think "this is a noob.he never thinked to root or modify phone" .so they can think your seller sold to you a rooted device (updating with root takes to brick, bootloop etc.) and so maybe they will give to you a new phone.if it not power on they cant see if it is rooted or not.for me it's your only option.you did a great mess.you flashed file in the wrong order right? not followed this order ?
fastboot flash fastboot droidboot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
however...good luck bro
