[BUG] Site reposting and accumulated posts quotes - About xda-developers.com

I've been noticing over the last few days on XDA that when you reply to a thread there will be a delay or just a blank browser page (acts like it's loading) for a long time. If you leave it alone and look in the thread you reply to you will have multiple posts of what you just posted. To the effect of a bunch of ---------- Post added at 10:26 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:25 AM ---------- appended to your message along with your message repeating.
Also, If you essentially start a conversation by replying to messages every so often I have noticed that every message you quoted will be added to the top of your reply in addition to the specific message you actually clicked reply to. It seems very weird and I've closed the browser and opened again and it will still happen, I had not replied to any posts the last couple days and came on today (after some power downs / reboots over those 2 days) and had it happen again on the first message I replied to where messages I quoted from 2 days ago showed up.
If it helps I am on Windows 10 and using Firefox 43.0.2.

For a second my original post showed as double posted but it fixed itself.
If it doesn't get edited before someone sees it, here's an example.

Posting glitch

I dont know if this is an error you know about or can do anything about, but I thought I'd bring it to your attention.
I went to make a post using the quick reply feature, and got the error message:
Code:
The following errors occurred with your submission:
1. This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 15 seconds.
It had been about 15 mins since I had last posted. Instead of trying to send it again, I refreshed the forum in another tab and saw that it had been posted anyway despite the error message.
This could lead to a lot of double posting if it happens to others.

Topic Subscription Broken

When you subscribe to a post with Instant Email Notification, you get notified when a new reply is posted. The email contains only the text of the new reply.
When you subscribe to Daily Email Notification, you get an email at 10pm with ALL the posts that were posted that day, regardless of read status. For example, if you read a post at 9:55pm, you'll still get an email with all the day's posts, which is quite useless since you already read all of the replies.
Can this be modified for the XDA forums to only email you if there are new posts you haven't read that day? (And have the email contain only the new posts.)
Can the time the email gets sent be modified (a user option so we can set like 10am, 4pm, etc)?
Just a pet peeve that I've been thinking about for months and finally decided to make a post about it...

[Q] Double-texts on CM7.1.0 FreeXperia

So hopefully the title is self explanatory, but I keep getting double text messages (with single notification) for every message I've received since upgrading to this rom yesterday. I turned off auto-receive in the default messaging app (although now I can't even access it because it freezes every time it opens due to having SO MANY conversations).
Any other suggestions for eliminating this annoyance? I've been using the messaging app that comes on this ROM and love it, but if it's simply this app that's causing it I'll switch.
You should post it on the CM7 thread. And I'm getting this same behavior too.
ah ok, I don't know why, but I thought I wasn't able to post in the development section with a post count under 10, so I automatically went here... oh well, I'll post in there. Thanks though!

[Q] Ongoing problem with subscriptions

I am subscribed to several threads on the forum with "instant email notification". When I get an e-mail notification, the link ends in
Code:
....&goto=newpost
For some reason, this seems to always take me back to the lat post I read before I subscribed, which is often many pages from the end of the thread. Even if I page through everything to the last post, it still takes me many pages before the end.
I've tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to the threads but it has no effect.
Is there something I can go to "reset" what the forum thinks I've read?
Walt

[Q] Missing posts

I am pretty sure I just reached 10 posts yesterday as I worked hard to accomplish that in order to post something to a dev thread.
Now, I log in, check to see if my question has been responded to and found my all-important-I-need-an-answer-to-this message missing. I then checked the statistics under my username and found 8 messages missing. Were those messages deleted? I received no notification or PM warning me if I have violated any forum rule. What's funny is I got 3 thanks and all those were for 3 of the 8 deleted messages. Did I do something bad? Have I been a bad boy? Am I not gonna get a gift from Santa? Or some technical issues/glitch with the backend of the forum perhaps?
Did anyone experience this?
