Hey, someone sent me a video on kik but when I try to open it in the app it says "unsupported app" and I just can't see..
What do I need to do in order to open the videos? I can't even save them to gallery to copy them to my pc

why i cannot play video on facebook? it shows "Sorry,this video cannot be played"...why this happen? can anyone explain for me?? is it i'm missing some application to addon??

Same for me. I thought the newest version of the Facebook app enabled video playback within the app? When I select a video it gives me the option of opening with DoubleTwist or Streaming Media Player, neither of which work.
Could be down to video format, I get the same with some Youtube videos (normally WMV files)
When I would take pics through the snap seed app,edit the pic, and finally save the picture, finally view it in stock gallery app it would not let me view the picture. Instead it will attempt to open the file as a video, but when I use file explorer I could see the saved file has an extension as .jpg. I have already deleted the cache, reinstalled gallery app. This problem will also happen when I would receive a beam.
it appears to be a software problem. Even if I download a picture off of the browser, the gallery wants to open it as a video, but it has a clear visible extension of jpeg.
Are you using Cyanogenmod? This issue is fixed in the 26th nightly.

hi guys,
i have a problem with facebook messenger. when someone sends me a youtube or dailymotion link and it appears as "someone share a movie" with the title and small image of this movie below (without any url) it's opening via browser but incorrectly. browser starts downloading mysterious file that couldn't be open with any of video players that i have (as stock as mxplayer). BUT when someone sends a direct url link everything is fine, it opens with youtube app and browser as well. what's going on? can you help me? it's pretty annoying, so beer for my saviour!

You may need to download a clear default manager app.
Or clear it manually.
It seems you have set an app as default which is opening your video links.

unfortunately it doesn't work. facebook and facebook messenger both have some issues with sharing a video (links or direct movies). on facebook app when i try to play any video uploaded directly on facebook, the mysterious file start downloading. my mate have the same problem on his note 2.

What format are the videos in and have you installed any after market players?
hello i have a htc m8, I have problems in the gallery, that is when I send photos or video on whatsapp, the gallery is not there, does not create the folder whatsapp video pictures. Even when I download a picture on the internet I do not find in the gallery.
tried to uninstall and delete them or move them to sd, but nothing.

Not sure about a solution to your issue...... But try Quick Pic from play store. It's all I ever use. ?
