***MAJOR UPDATE*** 1/6/15
-Face pack now contains 750 faces
-Naming corrected to make installation easier, just merge contents of BeautifulWatches into your own BeautifulWatches folder
-Size has grown by around 100mb
-Video added containing ALL provided faces
Guys,
I started a new thread for this because the old one was depreciated and outdated.
I have had a moto360 since the beginning and have had the opportunity to grab many of the watch faces that you cannot get or find anymore, i.e. Rolex, Tag, B&R, etc. so I decided to zip them up and share them with the world. Many taken from facerepo and other sources including XDA. I in no way take credit for any of these faces so if you would like me to remove your face from the pack please let me know. Hope this helps a lot of you guys looking for the good stuff!
***Combo Pack originally compiled thanks to NWKENT**

Pack has grown over the last year from the previous thread~800mb unzipped.

OK Guys. Good News! It still works if you copy the entire content of the extracted RAR file into the following folder on your phone:
Internal Storage ->Android->Data->Slide.watchFrenzy->Files
1. You must first extract the RAR file in a Windows Computer
2. Then connect your phone
3. Open the above phone folder on your computer and then copy and paste all files previously extracted into it.
4. IT will take a very long time to do this. Then restart your phone and it worked for me. Now I can see almost all watch faces on the Watchmaker App. For reference I am using a Samsung S22 UItra and a Galaxy Watch.
Old Install Instructions:
Download Explorer from the play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...explorer&hl=en
Download the Beautiful Watches File which goes into your downloads folder on internal storage
Open Explorer and navigate to your Downloads folder
Long press the BeautifulWatches.zip file and choose "Extract"
Let the file extract and when completed select "Go to extracted"
You will see the "BeautifulWatches" folder
Long press the "BeautifulWatches" folder and choose "copy"
Navigate back to your Internal Storage or SDcard folder which already contains your "Beautiful Watches" folder, and select "Copy Here" at the bottom
Let that finish
Close and reopen Watchmaker if its already open, all faces should be loaded.
ENJOY!
A few of my favs!

Is there a way to separate the faces, other than using Watchmaker?
I haven't managed to import them into FaceViewer app.
To be honest I can't say, I've never used that app. Basically these are all already imported into Watchmaker. Not sure if you can export back to FaceViewer. I tried searching around the net about doing that but didn't find much. Sorry I couldn't be more help
I just downloaded WatchMaker and your zip file with all the faces. I imported just as I should (I think) and everything shows under the My Watches tab. But when I hit to set a watch face, I'm prompted to buy the premium version of WatchMaker and doesn't let me set any faces. Do I have to buy the premium version of the app to get it to work?
If I remember correctly you must have premium to use your own watchfaces. It's totally worth it IMO.

What is this amazon underground you speak of?
Is this particular face in the pack?
Sorry but I don't see a folder marked "beautifulwatches" when I extract the zip. Only a folder marked "watches" is that what I need to move to the SD card?
the "beautiful watches" folder is created when you download the $4 version of watchmaker app.
And for those *****ing about the $4, really? Your getting 500 watch faces, good ones, for nothing.

So do I need to copy the contents of each folder from the zip to the individual folders from the app? I'm confused?

There also right now giving a $5 print book credit if you download a free game from Amazon Underground as well, althouh YMMV.
To the question above. Just unpack the zip then copy and paste all the contents (everything, folders and all) to the folder marked "beautiful watches". In other words, when you open "beautiful watches" there wont be a "faces" folder in there, it will just be the contents of the "faces" folder that you copied (that way the app will recognize the info).

The update is absolutely THE single worst and cataclysmic update in Android history. Your grandkids will be asking you about the Dropbox disaster of 2011.
Anyways don't update it:
1. It will delete the Dropbox folder from your sd card,
2. Any files you want to save from the updated version of Dropbox must be "exported"; you have to choose the path every single bloody time,
3. "Favourites", or files available offline, are saved to android/data/data.
An analogy to drive it home: You buy a 2013 Porsche GT3, sight unseen, turns out the 2013 is based on a 1979 Lada chassis and drivetrain.
Haha, Thanks for the warning, I was just about to do my weekly updates too, I think I'll give this one a miss.
I suppose it's like going home with Liz Hurley and finding out she's Herrmann Munster

I wonder how long until they revert back??!!
Your analogy is also 100% valid.
I made the mistake of backing up via Ti BU before I realized how bad the update was. I ended up extracting the old version from a nandroid b/u.
Re: reverting to the old version, judging by the reviews, it shouldn't take long!

What a load of BS. No files are deleted whatsoever. They have been moved to Android / data / com.dropbox.android / files / scratch.
So no more dedicated Dropbox subdir in root but finally in /Android. The way it should have been in the first place. Less clutter.

Again, false. Let's say you export a file to Dropbox/Test/FCOL. Upload another file? Boom there we are, again in Dropbox/Test/FCOL, nothing to be clicked to get there.
The new update rules. It looks amazing. Finally the possibility to upload multiple files at once (not a whole directory at once though, alas), the image/mp3 preview is nice, etc.
Can't please 'em all I guess. That's fine, just don't spread FUD for nothing please.
No problems here with Dropbox .

600 MB additional free storage
Hi all
Just found a smart way to increase your Dropbox account with 600 MB:
1 Sign into your existing Dropbox account (or create a new account)
2 Goto https://www.dropbox.com/free
3 Follow instructions ... and voila 600 MB additional free storage

Who are you, dropbox sales team leader??!!
FYI, I do enjoy it, but your talking out of your arse.
I can upload/download multiple files with box and 100mb is MORE than enough for me.
I also find box more user friendly than dropbox and with better speeds.
So you enjoy being a dropbox fan boy and climb back under your bridge.
The problem with Box.net is that it doesn't have a free-sync option from the desktop. Desktop sync is for Enterprise/Paid users. Dropbox free quota is totally free by all means.
I didn''t like the update either. It now saves files in
/sdcard/Android/data/com.dropbox.android/files/scratch
which unfortunately is more complicated than
/sdcard/dropbox/
but it's here now and I don't know how to roll back. Also when opening a file with dropbox, does it auto-upload a file when saved? I'm not sure it does anymore...

Downloaded the app but every time I try to play NFS:MW or GTA3 , the games ask me to download additional files even though I successfully moved the app data to my SD card. Need more internal memory...lol help!
Use Directory Bindhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262
If you get lost in that thread you can follow my direction I posted in another thread. I copied it below. It basically allows you to have your game data stored to micro sdcard but its directory is binded to internal directory where the game data is normally stored. Its the same concept as GL to SD but I find works without any issues.
Here's an example
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Most games are stored in mnt/sdcard/android/data. So you need to create the same directory in your micro sd card for this to work. The other confusion maybe because when you add a new entry in Directory Bind you would think source is internal and target is extsdcard but its the other way around.
In root explorer go /mnt/extSDcard/ and create a folder called android and then a subfolder under it called data. (skip if you already have them)
Now go to /mnt/sdcard/android/data and you will see a list of games you've installed. An example in my case is Modern Combat 3. So in the data folder I will see a folder called "com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftM3HM" and within that folder is a subfolder called "Files".
Now we need to create the same folder and subfolder in your /mnt/extSDcard/android/data. (It's possible I didn't have to go as far creating a Files folder but I did in my case atleast for gameloft games)
Once you create the folders you can open up Directory Bind and Add a New entry.
Tap and hold the source field and it will open up a list of your directories.
You will point it to /mnt/extSDcard/android/data/com.123xxx/xxxxx then press Select.
Now tap and hold the mount field and go to /android/data/com.123xxx/xxxxx then press Select.
If you've already downloaded the game data when you opened up the game then check the box for "Transfer files from target to data." and then press Add.
Wait for the transfer to finish. When its done do a Bind Check in Directory bind. If you did it right then the floppy disc icon turns green. Any other color you did something wrong so compare both directories and correct any typos or maybe you pointed one or the other to the wrong directory.
Now some games are stored in just /mnt/sdcard/android/data/ and no subfolders. And I think some games are stored in months/sdcard/android/obb. Below are more examples of the ones I created.

I dont know really. The mod has been around for a while now and its still manual mode. But its really not hard to do. All games and most apps are stored in mnt/android/data or mnt/android/obb anyway so its easy to just create the same folder in your micro sd. And if you already downloaded the game prior to using Directory Bind, you can opt to transfer data from internal to your new directory when you add a new entry. I can add an entry in less than a minute. Also any time there's an update to the game data via play store, the update goes to external micros sd since its binded so you dont have to do anything else.

Hi guys,
I would like to share the way how to add widgets as a Smart Bulletin addon and encourage you to test widgets, because only few of them are easily adoptable (update: 1 from 10 sa far as I see).
All details can be found here: http://developer.lge.com/MOBILE_HEL...i/Documents/lgsmartbulletindeveloperguide.htm
You need:
1) APK of the widget
2) APKTool and SignAPK for the reverse engineering (to found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2737291)
3) Java (JRE)
Step-by-step guide (for Win):
1) Get your apk, put into the folder to APKTool and SignAPK, let's say C:\apk
2) Go to CMD, type "cd C:\apk"
3) Decompile the APK with a command "apktool d <name of APK>"
4) Go to the directory of the decompiled APK, navigate to res\layout
5) Check the main layout file (don't know how to find, I'm not Android dev, but file usually has logical name like "mainblabla") and check if uppermost tag LinearLayout has android:layout_height="wrap_content". If not, I think it will not work (at least not so easy), because SB expects to have auto-adjustable content.
6) If everything is fine, go to res\xml (may be several folders) and in each xml containing <appwidget-provider> tag add android:widgetCategory="0x100" property (to add property it should be inside the tag definition like: <appwidget-provider bla bla android:widgetCategory="0x100" bla bla/>). Do you modifications in Notepad++ to be sure for the encoding.
7) Compile the APK using the command "apktool b <name of the folder>". You'll find the generated APK in the "dist" folder.
8) Sign new APK with a command "java -jar signapk.jar certificate.pem key.pk8 <not signed apk> <new signed apk>"
9) Try to install, run, reboot and check Smart Bulletin.
These have been imported in the described way:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
This is very cool. I'll give it a try tomorrow and let you know how it goes. Thanks for posting.

Hey, today my Pixel 3 XL arrived and i moved from iPhone to the Pixel.
I had like 1300 pictures from my iPhone on my computer, then I moved the pictures via FileManager to my Pixel.
And the Pixel automatically created like 300 or more folders with about 2 pictures each in it.
Is there any easy way I get all the pictures out of the folders? I don't need folders in my libary, I just want all pictures side by side and no folders.
I didn't know that Android creates for every App that edits pictures a new folder.
Hope someone can help, I don't wanna drag each pic out of it's folder

Yeah, over the past few years, the photo app has been really annoying in the way it structures saved photos. Honestly, the best way to do it is find a new photo album app and use that to look up photos. Even when I get a popup asking me if I want to create a new folder for a picture, I say no, and its still in there with new folder. Then every few weeks I go through deleting stupid folders with 1 picture I didnt want.

First let me say welcome (or welcome back) to Android. I don't know how many GB your pics amount too, but I've had good luck zipping a huge amount of pics into a single zip file, transferring it to my phone and then using a quality file manager (solid explorer / root explorer) to extract. Dunno? maybe it will take splitting the 1300/2 or even 3 files but it can be done. When zipping on your Mac/PC just use "no compression", "wrapper", or "minimal". This results in a fast compression because the pics are already compressed. I'm not an apple guy at all but I can tell you zipping 100's of files is no big deal on a PC, nor extracting them into the DCIM folder on your shiny new Pixel. Unlock your bootloader NOW if you are able, because unlocking it later will wipe all your data including any photos not backed up to the cloud (Photos). I also thought there was a way to transfer from Apple cloud to Google Photos, but again I am not an Apple guy at all. (disclaimer: I just have to buy them for my wife and daughter)

Wut? My Photos folder has no subfolders all my photos are in there, bro. And Google Photos rocks on many different levels. YMMV?

You know, I guess it depends on what app I am using when trying to look up a photo. You are correct, when just going directly to the photo album app, all my photos are just laid out. It's when I click the "albums" icon that its a complete mess. Also, pretty much every time I open the app, I get multiple notifications for "new folder found". Most of the time those are singular pictures my security system took. Annoyingly, they are all one photo in each "new" folder. So I have to go in and delete each folder individually.

Yeah its really annoying.
But in my head its like, if I use everything from Google, it works the best and the userexperience is better then thirdparty apps.
It's all from one company.
But thats just me and my thinking. :laugh:

Still having this issue? I can write a script that should be able to automatically move each file to a new single folder.
Probably only 10 lines of code.
I don't think you need root, just let me know and I can try and throw it together.

Thanks for you Help Mate.
But i fixed already
I am hoping someone has a simple method or maybe a link to a youtube video that shows how to copy/move files to the Pixel Watch from either a Win10 computer or a Pixel 6 Pro phone.
Similarly, a way to possibly copy text or jpg images to the watch if there is a way to display them from some ascii text reader app or image display app. I sometimes like to have a simple note about how to do something on my portable device.
I see a thread on using some "nav-xxx" but since it is not available in the PlayStore, I don't see how to get it on the watch in the first place. I also saw a thread on some other method but when I fired it up - I was lost!!!! I have dealt with computers for eons so should be able to manage but those same eons may have resulted in my gray matter is stretched thin.
Thanks in advance.
You can do it via adb commands. But I'm not sure how to play MP3s on the watch.
I'm using an app called wear media music player (by qubin apps) that transfers mp3, m4a files and works as a player as well. It's not free, but it works well enough.
Going to investigate the app. Thanks for the reply.

I was wondering if there were any kind of File Explorer? I'm always curious about what is lurking in the folders of MY (meaning, don't keep me out) devices.
@Rp2pilot
They both seem to work. I'm not sure that the quality of the audio (Mendelssohn's Scottish) is all that terrific on the watch but it is there!!!
I also transferred two photos to the watch. They wound up in the topmost folder/directory. I was able to copy/move them to the Pictures folder. Now, viewing them is like using a microscope to view. Slide the view field around to see the entire photo.
But THANKS for the references.
Edited to add:
Okay, I am amazed (easily impressed, perhaps). I copied an ascii text file, a spreadsheet and a pdf to the watch. The text file just opened and I could read it, It looks as if I could also edit it. The excel spreadsheet (no app to open prompts). The pdf file opened as pdf could not be navigated. But it also offered text view and I was able to read it. Now, obviously the screen a(watchface) is a bit constrained but... Still impressed.

How do you open those files? I mean, is there a file browser out there?

I think there may be some inherent file browser that can handle opening some file types. But the there is the app "myWear File Explorer" that I used to navigate to the text and jpg files. If I can manage a screen capture, I will post an image or two. Admittedly, the results may not be completely practical on the small watch face but it can be done in some cases.
Two jpgs of a jpg file I transferred to the watch. Same image scrolled to reveal different sections.

Screen capture of a text file I transferred to the watch. The watch or the inherent app actually "word wrapped" the plain text file.
I tried opening an xl spreadsheet. But it can't do it.
A view of a pdf file I transferred.
Hi,
Try to use the app called
nav music
OK for me
i used wear media music player (pro version) for many time, for me it is a better !
