plz help, my Samsung galaxy tab 3 won't turn on. - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was trying to root my Tablet yesterday following instructions from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2531784 and I manage to get to step six, but I wasn't able to put the root in the internal memory the first time so I turned it off and turn it back on without the twrp mode and install it into a folder call document on my tablet, then I try to get it back to download mode ( I flash the twrp without putting it in download mode first, I'm stupid sorry) but it wouldn't go to download mode, holding the buttons I thought maybe I was holding them wrong, but it just get shutting off and opening after like the fifth time it just shut off and won't open anymore. I don't know what to do, did I manage to hardbrick my tablet. I'm sorry if I didn't properly convey my problem I'm still fairly new to the scene, thank you any hello would be appreciated

Download Firmware from here
sammobile
officialrom com/samsung/GT-P5210/
then download odin
turn your tablet to download mode
and link it to computer with usb cable
open odin
Select the auto reboot and f.reset time
click in PDA ..
extract the Firmware
select it
and START
then wait .. Even shows PASS
and u can turn on your tablet

If your brother installed CWM into your phone, than your phone is rooted, isn't it?
You can download your Stock Rom ( you can find on the phone box your version XWKD1 or XWKF2 )
Stock ROM FROYO 2.2:
For Euro B7510 XWKD1 : http://hotfile.com/dl/127133994/17d5d98/B7510XWKD1_OXXKD1_XXKC3_bysamsdroid.rar.html
For Euro B7510 XWKF2 : http://hotfile.com/dl/124407579/8bb1563/B7510_PRO_B7510XWKF2_.zip.html

Now you need Odin v4.28 : http://www.multiupload.com/B12P3BJBE6
Samsung Kies installed in your PC....( I hope that you have already installed the application on the PC)
■Now, after finishing the download you will have to now ensure that you are turning your phone off so that the download mode which is nothing but the safe mode is activated in your phone. After turning Off the phone, you will have to first push the “Q” button to enter in to the download mode which will look like as shown in the below screen shot. If you have successfully entered into the download mode then you will see a green screen which is shown below. Also, additionally note that if the device boots in the normal mode with the home screen then you will have to again switch off the device and retry the process and if despite retrying you are unable to get into download mode then you will have to fix the download mode error for your phone. You can see the download mode screen on how it looks like.
Poza1 ....http://www.4shared.com/photo/zA0HoG80/Poza1.html
■Now, after this you will have to connect the phone to the computer where you have downloaded and extracted the zip file from the above link. Please note that while connecting the USB cable you will have to make sure that the Odin software is open as mentioned and shown above, as soon as you connect the phone to the Odin, the ID COM block will turn yellow after which you will have to enter the files by clicking on the corresponding options as shown below,
Poza2.....[IMG]http://www.4shared.com/photo/k33bdHec/Poza2.html
BOOT – APBOOT_B7510...................md5,
Phone – MODEM_B7510....................md5,
PDA – CODE_B7510..........................md5,
CSC – ....B7510.......CSC...................md5,
■As soon as you feed in the files, you will have to double check the same and then you will have to proceed and click on the “Start” option to start the firmware update process. After clicking on the start, you will see that the firmware will be installed in your phone within a time of not more than 5 minutes.
Poza3......[IMG]http://www.4shared.com/photo/J-0BuaB2/Poza3.html
■Now, you can see that the flashing process is being in process and you will have to make sure that you don’t interrupt the flashing process as this may be fatal for your phone. So, after few minutes of time you will see the Odin screen as shown below,
Poza4......[IMG]http://www.4shared.com/photo/Iyc1MxXQ/Poza4.html
Now, that’s it as soon as you see that the above screen is shown in the Odin, you will have to wait for the home screen to see in the phone and there you go, you have now successfully instal.
Euro B7510 XWKF2 dont have
Phone – MODEM_B 7510.... ....... ....... ..md5
you have this file?

It can take many tries. Not much we can do about it. If you really can't manage (and I'm talking after 100 tries), you might wanna look into getting or building a jig.
try vol up + vol down + power. make sure your S3 is not plugged in to your PC

No more Factory Mode
When I tried to install any official Samsung rom in my S3, it automatically entered in factory mode, doesn't matter wich rom I tried.
I tried the ON procedure at factorymode file in efs/FactoryApp shown here but it didn't work either.
THIS WORKED FOR ME:
you have to have root access;
Install this rom (if you try another, tell us if it works) It has Samsung voice in Brazilian Portuguese. Im my case, it entered in factory mode;
Install ES File explorer and Triangle Away and test them
Back up your /efs directory in ExtSdCard
Delete all content of /efs (it is dangerous, do it at your own risk) and reboot (it will recreate /efs)
Run Triangle Away
Wheh it reboots and resets the counter, do not enter in normal mode, get into recovery mode and perform a cache clean and a factory reset.
That's it. Tadammmmmmm. No more Factory Mode.

My problem is that while tring to reinstall my 4.3 droid i went to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2498233 and tried using these files to get another rom, so as it mentioned i started flashing the boot loader but via odin i coudn't as odin negated to proceed due to errors. Them i triede odin multiloader them i tried TWRP them i ended up messing everythin tring via Clock work mod recovery. I just got the process well done and them when the system tries to boot it just won't boot. The eternal black screen looks like i have to a Hard Brick and even if while i try the usb cable the computer responds to the device, i couldn't take it to Download Mode.

Can’t access to Download Mode or Recovery Mode after bricking AT&T Galaxy S3 i744 4.3
Hi I have (had) a AT&T galaxy S3 i747 with android 4.1.1

Because the phone is in another country I couldn’t update it by OTA to android 4.3
So I started to read forums that said how to Update AT&T S3 i747 to android 4.3 (I747UCUEMJB)
The S3 was not Root
I installed all the phone drivers in the computer
This is what I did: (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52341582&postcount=38)
- Use Odin 3.07
- Check Auto Reboot and Re-Partition, and uncheck all the boxes
- I put my phone in USB debugging in the developer options
- I turned it off
- Started to put the phone on Download Mode pressing volume DW+home+power button at the same time
- In Odin on the PDA box I checked and loaded the file .tar.md5 (I747UCUEMJB_2024954_REV04_user_low_ship.tar.md5 )
- Pressed the button Start
The installation seemed to go right, the program never showed anything weird.
When the Programs finished the installation the phone turned off and then turned on and show the logo of android (seemed to be lying down or inclined) and after that it turned off.
The computer showed that something was connected (QHSUSB_DLOAD) but couldn’t install any driver, so I disconnected it of the computer.
I couldn’t turn on the phone :crying:, I took the battery out and put it in and tried to start the phone and nothing happened, I tried pressing any button to access to recovery o download mode and none of this worked.
I started to search forums that talk about restart or turn on a brick AT&T S3 i747
I found one (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2549068) that said to download a image (debrick-SGH-I747U-CUEMJB3.img) and using the program “Win32DiskImager” to put the image inside of a micro SD to make the phone turn on,
I put the micro SD inside the phone and when I pushed the power button for almost 3 seconds it Turned on , the phone seems to be fine an it has android 4.3 (I747UCUEMJB) installed.
I can use it normally so far.
But the problem is that I can’t turn on the phone if the micro SD card is not inserted on the phone.
Without the micro SD inside don’t show any sign of life
When the micro SD is inside I can turn on the phone and use its apps.
I have tried to enter to Recovery mode or Download mode with the micro SD inside but the phone only show what its supposed to happen for 1 second then turns off and then turns on by its own (after that I can use it normally)
Does anyone know how can I Fix my phone ?
How can I boot my phone without using the micro SD card?
How can I access to download mode?
And if I could access to download mode what should I do next ?
The only files I have now are:
Odin3 v3.07
I747UCUEMJB_2024954_REV04_user_low_ship.tar.md5(905 Mb)
debrick-SGH-I747U-CUEMJB3.img (80 Mb)

It's been a while sorry about beinging away.
A guy who says that have a JTAG service tried and coudn't recover it. So I left it there because it have a broken display and a broken firmware and it' is from outside Brazil and after the FIFA CUP Anatel will lock operation of devices that models are not sold on Brazil and I747 is probably included on the list.
So i gave up from my phone and bought a Nexus 5.
The case is closed!

Here's what you can do to get the device back to working and booting normally. If the Odin flash failed first time, you should not use this flash again. Instead you should use custom recovery to flash a complete 4.3 stock restore image.
1) Download the stock restore image from the following thread. I always prefer to use TWRP and thus, the TWRP image, because of the easier user interface.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658486
Save the file to a location on your computer.
2) Download the Odin flashable TWRP Tar file for custom recovery from the link below ....
http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/d2att/openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.1-d2att.tar
With the debrick card in your phone, boot to system as you have been doing. Connect your phone to your computer with a good quality micro USB cable and copy the stock restore image you downloaded earlier to your phone. Be sure you remember the stored location.
3) Power off your phone and, with the debrick card, boot to download mode. If you cannot use the Volume Down, Power and Home button combo to boot to download mode, you may need to get a USB jig.
4) Once you are in download mode, connect your phone to the PC, open Odin v3.07. Make sure Odin recognizes your phone. Do not check or uncheck any boxes but leave the defaults as is. In the PDA box, load the TWRP Tar file you downloaded earlier. Click on Start and wait for flashing to complete. When you get to Pass, disconnect your phone from the PC and pull out the battery to stop it trying to reboot.
5) Replace the battery and with the debrick card inside, boot to Recovery mode by pressing the Volume Up, Power and Home buttons. If you do this right, you should be able to get to recovery mode.
6) Select Install and navigate to the stock restore zip file you saved to your phone earlier. Select this zip and swipe to confirm install. Wait for firmware installation (flashing) to complete.
7) Clear your cache/dalvikand reboot to system.
Try booting without the card. If the above process went as described, your phone should be booting normally. Good luck!

http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/d2att/openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.1-d2att.tar
Good luck!

Okay. At least, we are almost there. Try booting into recovery mode and doing a hard wipe/reset. If this doesn't work, then you could try reinstalling the 4.3 stock firmware. You may need to reflash custom recovery as the initial flashing would have returned you to stock recovery. If you have to do the firmware flashing again, please make sure you clear your cache/dalvik before rebooting to system.
happy to see this thread resolved, this is what XDA is all about, no matter how fd up something sounds, a community like xda will find a fix for it even if it takes months
And the award of the Q/A thread goes to Larry and everyone in this post for trying and failing but succeeding at the end
anywayz happy rooting and be careful, no-one wants to end with a brick cheers and keep this place awsome

Did you try getting into download mode with the 3-button combo (Volume Down/Power/Home)?

[Q] WTF is "download mode'?

OK I have a Galaxy Tab3 GT-P5210, I have developer usb debugging enabled, I have the Samsung KIES package installed on my PC and I've downloaded Odin307, the TWRP package and the ROOT package that is well documented in this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2525630
The problem I'm having is with the step that says:
Power down your device and put it into download mode. To do this, press and hold the Home + Volume Down + Power buttons simultaneously for 3 to 5 seconds until you see the warning screen.
When I do this it goes into something called 'Android System Recovery <3e>" with a prompt that says "# MANUAL MODE #" with the following options:
reboot system now
apply update from ADB
apply update from external storage
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
apply update from cache
and it does not show up in Odin so I cannot get further...how can I resolve this?
as a rant here, I really wish Google would mandate that all providers supply an option to root the device and install stock Android...this nonstop jumping thru hoops just to have basic control over a device you spent good money on is ****ing stupid
Found your problem!

Hey man download mode is where you flash custom recoveries and custom or stock Roms on your device. The answer to you for download mode is your not holding it down enough. first power off the device. Second hold these buttons all together: power + Volume Down + home button. Keep holding these buttons for a minimum of 10-15 seconds or more and it will go into download mode. From there you open up Odin on your pc and then you should see in a box your com port this means your connected. From there you it PDA and you select your recovery file. It should end with
.md5! Make sure re-partition is not checked or you will brick your device! Now it start and once it's done it will say Res OK. Good luck!
got it

You know what it was? Its a brand new tablet for me and so when it is held lengthwise (like you'd hold a phone normally) the Vol+ button is at the BOTTOM, not the top like every phone I've ever owned. So I was holding Vol- instead and that's why it wasn't working for me...boneheaded mistake but thanks for the reply...I can now boot it into Download mode ...though I still can't get Odin to recognize it
thanks for the reply

connecting to odin is the same for every samsung device. I am going to try my best to help you out so here we go. Check to make sure you have the samsung usb drivers. to do that go to my computer then local disk then go to programs and files. if you see the SAMSUNG folder and when you open it and you see the drivers folder containg the usb drivers then if you don't see it then we need to install the drivers. first uninstall kies. you don't need this.the download and open this exe file: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_nizg6yUZ0NS1RodDBxd0E1MFU/preview . install it normally.
Need more help just ask

After trying some different things I got Odin working, was able to install TWRP and root the device so that's all good
Now I've downloaded the framework-res.apk and decompiled it, modded it as i wanted to and recompiled using the Android Multitool app and the final issue I'm having is pushing the new framework-res.apk back to the device. The Android Multitool app claims it pushes the file but it does not. So I downloaded the latest sdk and I'm going to try using the raw ADB tool to push the file and see if that works...wish me luck
You can use twrp file manger to do that.
Just copy your file to sdcard while connected to pc and then reboot to recovery use file manager in advanced settings. Find your file and copy it to where ever you need it.

FIRST install the DRIVER from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089
See in the part 2015 with TOT files...
(if any other drivers are present, uninstall them and do a clean install)
You need to get in Download mode to be able to fix it without having to open the phone.
1. Unplug phone from pc and power off
2. Remove back cover and remove the battery
3. Plug the micro-usb cable into the phone
4. Press and HOLD the VOLUME DOWN (make sure you press it from the edge, far from the powerbutton)
5. Put the battery - Dont let go of Volume Down yet.
6. Connect the micro-usb cable to the pc - Dont let go of volume down yet
7. Wait for the pc to recognize it, and the download mode appears on the phone, now you can let go of volume down
Repeat again, first time might not work.
Post results here...
PS, quote me because i might not see and answer then. good luck
