Hello,
Not new to flashing roms but, was recently running CloudyG3 2.5 Rom on my lg g3 D852 and wanted to switch to the kitkat version G3 1.2 during the installation I accidentally clicked on another version other than D852. Now the phone is stuck at Fastboot Mode Started.
I am unable to get into the recovery but, can access download mode. Currently there is no .kdz file for my carrier but only a .tot file. Using the LG FlashTool and the given proper .tot and .dll I tried flashing my phone and recieve the following error.
"Device Model Different"
Can anyone help me?
(XDA wont allow me to post links to the error from LG Flash Tool because I have under 10 posts)
KDZ's for Canadian variants are here?

Hello everyone... I was on stock MM V20e-OPT2-HQ and I tried flashing to LP back, I used LGUP and check the update option cause refurbished only make me choose TOT file and no KDZ... after 100% complete. the phone wont pass the LG logo. my G4 is 510... help me please
ok I used the lg bridge to unbrick and it worked... it is now on LP V10e-SCA-XX. any one know from where is that version?
Multiple threads little to no replies besides sensless info that ive already tried
CAN TOT METHOD WORK ON TMOBILES VARIANT G4 AND IF SO WHERES THE LINK FOR THE TOT FILE NOT KDZ!
Tmobile g4 forum is helpless after days and 100s views
this is my last hope. I Have a tmobile lg g4 model. I hapened to relock the bootloader while i was still on a rom and rooted with twrp, but i do have download mode and only download mode .I dont have a bootable o.s
Ive tried and tried and tried to get lg UP Tool which is a joke its not really a true unbrick tool cause if you bricked yourself on a rom and not the stock firmware its useless .All you get is device model unknown. This is supposedly cause custom roms are edited. Lg bridge does not work as a brick tool either it just states wether your firmware is up to date . The only hope was lg flash tool 2014 but that im told and seems to be outdated not compatible with any g4 on android 6.0.... Im at a loss here i can get into dload mode thats it the phone charges in download mode also and it also is recognized by pc meaning drivers are installed because lg mobile support tool sees my device and says its up to date.

Some members have been in my same scenario relocked bootloader with a rom and twrp with nothing but download mode and swear they fixed it with lg bridge tool using the update recovery error link within the tool.
Can anyone confirm if im screwed or if i am doing something wrong this is day 5 now im ready to toss the g4 in the trash for the sake of my sanity.

Hello
I recently bought an LG G3 D850 32GB AT&T with version n, that is D85010n and while trying to get CM13 on it, i have got it stuck in download mode.
I have tried all possible solutions, searched on google, to get it recovered but I think its all about the firmware version conflict that the flashing fails.
1. The phone doesn't go into recovery or fastboot mode.
2. Trying to charge while turned off, results in entering download mode
The last resort i thought was the DLL and TOT flashing via flashtool but it failed too saying "Change Partition Error" [3 sec]. The firmware i used, and widely available is LGD850_V10D-xxx-xxx or LGD850_V10f-xxx-xxx. I dont seem to find the V10n version of the rom.
I am asking for help here please. Is there any way to revive the telephone? It was originally on kitkat 4.4.2, unlocked for other networks.
thanks
Okay, so I have had my LG G4 since 2016, I bought the LG G4 and a Samsung Note 5 off a guy who was selling them on Facebook. Both phones were locked by Rent A Center about a month after. Well I was able to get the Rent A Center lock off of the Note 5 fairly easy, but I wasn't able to find any guidance on how to get the lock off of the G4. Recently I stumbled across a few threads on here that showed some steps on how to use LGUP with Uppercut and some kind of B10 D file to bypass the RAC lock permanently. I followed the links, installed LGUP and Uppercut, but my device shows up as unknown on LGUP. When I extract the Uppercut file, it does nothing. It doesn't fix the "unknown" issue with LGUP. I followed another thread that was supposed to fix the LGUP unknown device issue. It had me use the LG Flashtool and download a KDZ file. I am supposed to use the LG firmware extract on the KDZ file, but it says the KDZ isn't a KDZ or TOT file, so I cant use it. Also, on the LG Flashtool, I dont have a megalock.dll file and can't seem to find one. Can someone please give me some direction on any of this? Also, this is an H810 model for AT&T. Basically I just need to know how to get LGUP to recognize my device so I can get the RAC lock off of it.
