So I backed up samsung Video Editor from my note 5 and I was wondering if there was any way to install it on my note 10 so I can use it. I have tried just installing the apk and it fails. I was wondering if anybody else had tried this or what not.
The reason I'm wanting to do this is this tablet could replace a laptop for me if it's supported 1080p export on the video editor. I find the video editor to be very nice not very robust but for simple edits and stuff that I do is perfect.
Thank you for your time
Anthony

Has anyone got a patch that will allow my 800w to watch Youtube video? Something to do with flash? I'm on a MAC, using Missing Sync for Windows Mobile and it works great for installing and syncing, but I can't seem to find a .CAB that will allow me to watch Youtube. I've been to several sights and even downloaded a few things: TCPMP .72RC1, it's not working. I've even downloaded a .zip bundle from this string:

But ths zip file has a whole lot of stuff in the folder that expanded, and I don't know what to do with it all.
Bill

For those that can stand editing on a 7" screen. Just tried Snapseed and does a great job. Only played about 10 minutes, but it's better than anything else I've tried (Canvas, Pixlr, Picsay+).
edit: Can toss this, just saw the other thread. I had no problem direct from Play store.
Now if they could somehow incorporate RAW file support into this. That way I could go on vacation and do quick uploads of vacation pics before I delf into real editing when I am back.
Hi,
I have recently upgraded to Galaxy Note 2. This S-Note App allows you to record while making a sketch. But this would only play on the device. I am able to export the final cut of my sketch as a picture but not the entire video itself.
I searched on the play store and did not manage to find an app for it as well. And there is no tool online which would convert the file to a video online. Please let me know if there is any other way to do it?
Cheers!!
I just got the GN 10.1 2014 tablet. Looks great, works great.
I am VERY new to the video game. I want to encode some DVDs and Blurays and move them onto this thing.
Apparently the free encoding app called HandBrake needs specific settings for each model tablet?
Where do I find settings for the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014?
A friend gave me a file he made with Handbrake that he encoded as an .mp4 for his Amazon Kindle Fire HD.
If I try to drag/drop copy that file from my PC over to the Galaxy Note 10.1, a dialog window comes up on the PC
saying that it will "convert" the file and take 2 hours. Why would it need to convert it, if the file is already a full HD
mpeg4? Or, is that the part about needing custom settings for each android device, to use in handbrake?
Ideally, I want to learn how to set the settings in Handbrake so that the completed file will SIMPLY copy over to
the galaxy note in a few minutes (normal file copy), and NOT be re-converted a second time.
Where would I learn about the settings needed for the Handbrake app?
I can see from google that several of the high-cost video encoder apps have already added a "profile" for this tablet.
But, Handbrake is free, if we can learn the proper settings.
Sincere Thanks,
Neal
Hi
Have a search on the internet for nexus 10 hand brake settings. Both tablets have the same screen resolution and the nexus has been out longer so the setting should be readily available. If you have a MPEG4 it should already play it on the samsung the only advantage of using handbrake is to reduce the file size whilst maintains the quality. Ripping your own DVD's and converting the for your tablet can be time consuming. I do not condone piracy at all but if you already own the physical DVD or blu ray to be honest you may be better down loading a digital copy. Someone else would of done the hard work of ripping and converting the files for you.
what i liked about the old galaxy note was that i didn't have to convert anything. everything played fine on it. this refresh doesn't support ac3 audio any more. you may be able to get by without conversion if you use mobo, mx, or buy archos player and us the free codec app. i know the archos has played everything so far.
