I have the unlocked lg G4 H815 from Taiwan, and when I try to find the stock kdz file through http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=36 the site can't find it. And if I check the url: http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=IMEI, I get everything ok, but it doesn't appear any url for download.
Is this because it is unlocked and it doesn't belong to any phone company? or is there another problem?

Thank you, it does help. I meant unlocked as from no company no unlocked bootloader.
The problem I have is it didn't work to get the firmware for my phone by the url from above, it should have downloaded the kdz, but nothing happens because there is no url in the xml data.

Hello Developers, again I need assistance. I have decided to put a T-Mobile SIM into the LG H815 that I got from LG, but ran into an issue trying to get the Unlock Bootloader from LG. The site says I cannot get the .bin because I am in the US but I have heard you can root the phone to access the bands that are inaccessible, ie. band 12. Can anyone help be figure a work around for this? Thanks in advance.
The bootloader unlock doesn't go by your physical location. It goes by your IMEI and specific model. Not all the H815s can be unlocked. Which do you have?

It is the LG H815 with VX10b-EUR-XX software. It is the testers LG gave away a few moths ago.
The EU version should be able to have the bootloader unlocked. It say so on LG's developer site..

Hi, on the 'Unlock' thread, some people where having your problem and resulted that it was happening because the phone was actually a US version. Have a read http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/lg-g4-t3125162/page19
I unlocked my bootloader to try CM13, but I'm not happy. Now I can't find any guides or pages that explain how I can revert my phone back to original state (bootloader locked)? Can't sell this phone when the device unlocked text is on the boot screen
Plese don't respond if you just tell me to google or search, because I did that...

There is no way to lock to the bootloader again. Once unlocked it's unlocked for good.

You can easily sell if the bootloader is unlocked btw, I've sold loads of devices with an unlocked bootloader.

Does and Unlocked Bootloader just affect DRM content and Can an Unlocked Bootloader take an OTA or work through LG bridge / LGUP?
I must admit.. I couldnt do it

Yep, DRM content is fine, I've not encountered anything that doesn't work.
I returned to stock with LGUP and took OTAs on my previous device when I did the warranty return and didn't have any issues.

I am having LG G4, I don't know what's the actual model of my phone.
In the about setting of the phone, it is showing model H815, In LG Bridge it is showing LGF500L, On the phone box there is no model written and after removing the battery it is showing H811 model. Can somebody tell me which is the correct model of my phone?
Now I flashed the LGF500L tot using LG flash tool and updated my phone to nougat using LG Bridge. Now In about phone, the model has been changed from H815 to F500L
I want to unlock the bootloader and want to install the TWRP for custom ROM. The problem is I can't boot/reboot into bootloader/fastboot mode.
I have tried the hardware key combination and "adb reboot bootloader" but didn't get success, Every time the phone just restarts.
Is there any solution?
Also, the root permission has gone after updations.
So, in short I have 2 Questions/problems, please help me if you know any answer. I will be highly thankful to you
Ques 1: What is the actual model of my phone? (Edit: Solved, see reply #4)
Ques 2: How to open bootloader or fastboot mode so that I can unlock it?
lg g4 exact model

F500L is written on my phone motherboard.

Currently, I am using F500L30b (nougat) version.
I can't boot into bootloader, the phone just restarts if I try to boot into bootloader (fastboot) mode. Please please solve this problem so that I can unlock the BL.

Yes dude being afraid makes totally sense and is for a good reason.
The risk is high, you can loose a lot or win a lot. Up to you..

Those codes are ROM dependent and you're using a brand new version (nougat for your device is just a few weeks old)
Maybe try
*#*#06#*#*

thats very good (and so not the issue)
try to use an USB 2.0 port if u currently using a 3.0 one.. sounds still strange to me but I saw that error related to the usb port somewhere.
Besides that it could be likely a wrong msm DLL issue or you're just following the wrong guide.
I think this one should work for you too:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/guide-lg-g4-stock-firmware-to-stock-kdz-t3107848
otherwise do a search on this error like here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/search/thread/3107848?query=0x2000
I would recommend better asking in the above thread for further help is better than going on in this thread here (has nothing to do with your original question btw... )

The only thing that is from the v350ulm is the bootloader.. You can fix that by reflashing the ULM kdz or backing up the stock abl_a img before flashing the v350ulm bootloader then restoring it..
But its no big deal

If you haven't already, you need to look in the 'guides' forum. There's a topic specifically to unlock the BL, and you'll also have to follow the info when you have a Verizon variant, which you have, because that's the one that doesn't have the OEM unlock in dev settings.
It's not that hard to do. Finding a workable TWRP is more involved. Not so much finding it but getting it installed. Because there is no recovery partition any more, twrp has to be ram-disk injected into the boot partition, that's where it gets more complicated.
