I google and i already download the program "Odin" and firmware but i get always the same result after the tablet restart.

I am not technically inclined so I really can't understand big technically words. To tell you the truth I am out of my league and would appreciate someones help that is very simplified and dulled down for me.
I was trying to upgrade/root my phone and the USB drive malfunctioned/disconnected during the process. Consequently my phone is now non-functioning and stuck on the error, "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again." I tried this but Kies requires the phone to be put in recovery mode and the phone can't be put in recovery mode due to the error. Please can someone help me revive my phone.
I have a Samsung Note II SGH-T889 - Tmobile.
I am not sure what other information to provide. But can someone help me please.

Can you access download mode? then boot in download mode and reflash the firmware in ODIN PC, make sure that you use a usb port that works fine.

I had the same situation!
Use Kies:
Tools > Emergency Firmware Restore
and wait for it
It will download around 700mb and flash your device with stock firmware, and all needed files.

Did you installed Kies 3?
If so, then uninstall it and install only Kies

I am in a similar situation where Kies does not recognize my device so I am downloading the stock firmware and will use Odin to see if that works.
galaxy tab 3 8.0
I was deleting applications on my tablet the other night and i accidentally deleted the os. i have used kies, and kies 3 to try to do a firmware recovery, but, it did not work. i dont know what to do and i would really like some help haha. any tips??
^^^^^^ like he said ^^^^^^^
Go to SamMibile, find your device, choose your country and download. then flash through Odin. Sam Mobile even gives you a link to that.
can you shut the device down (hold the power button for a really long time)? if not let the battery die, then fully charge it. Then enter download mode (press and hold volume down, home and power button at the same time) then when it says to, volume up.
Once in download mode you should be able to use Odin to flash your stock firmware
I have my Tab 3 in download mode "Downloading" Screen, and tried Odin and Kies and cannot connect. What version did you use to connect? Thanks for your help.
Hi, so i got a samsung note 2 (GT-N7100) that someone gave me. Its rooted so i wanted to unroot it and upgrade to kitkat android version.
But i'm having those problems:
1- If I try to install a ROM using ODIN 3, it requires to start the phone in download mode, i press the key combination (Vol Down, Power and Home) but instead of the download mode, a kind of "Factory Mode" appears.
2- If i try to update the OS from the SD, using the recovery mode, well it simply doesnt work.
3- If i try using Samsung KIES to try something, ... well... KIES JUST CAN'T detect my device (and i've tried reinstalling the Drivers, the KIES "solve conectivity problems" option, ...).
So well, im almos desperate and i dont know what else can i do, so i need help ASAP. Lets hope someone here can give me any idea to keep trying.
In any case, thank you all very much.
Hello, First of all let me introduce myself. My name is Mark, I live in the Philippines, and I'm also a grade 7
If you're wondering why someone so young is in this forums, it's because I just need help with my tablet.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, I tried to root it with Kingo Root. But I was too late to find out that my tablet wasn't supported. I tried to unbrick it before but I haven't found anything yet, and then my tablet went out of battery. When it had its battery back, I can't go to Odin/Download mode anymore. If anyone can help me fix this problem and unbrick my device, that would be very helpful. Also please reply quickly since we need it now.
Thanks in advance.

Hello there !
If you can't go to "Download mode" anymore, I'm sorry but it starts bad...
Can you still go on "Recovery mode" ?

Hello there, sorry for late response. I'm still at church replying and I dont have my tablet yet. How do you get to recovery mode by the way?
Oh and when I try to do this: Home button+power+lower volume it just wont go to odin/download mode. And it just flickers and goes back to samsung screen
Emergency!! Emergency!!
Sorry, I'm not here with a solution to the problem but Even i am dealing with the same kind of problem... actually I was updating my Galaxy Tab 3.7.0 Android jellybean 4.1.2 version to kitkat 4.4.2... but somehow my pc got hanged and the whole process was terminated.. after that i tried to switch on my tab 3.7.0 but It just kept saying 'Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies and try again!!'. I am not able to go into download mode or either recovery mode. When i tried it to connect with kies it said that kies doesn't support this device. i have all the drivers needed. And it's not even charging. I tried to recover it by using CWF recovery mod using ODIN 3.09 but the process just stucks at 'setting connection' I AM STUCK! PLEASE HELP!
Hi
I have a Note 2 (international GT-N7100) that does not start. It shows a firmware upgrade error (attached) when i switch it on. I can only enter download mode (attached). I am being told the phone suffered SDS but in download mode you can still see the product name (attached). Prior to the problem i have never been rooted or had a custom ROM installed. It simply rebooted one day all by itself and when booting showed the upgrade error
I have tried re flashing via Odin in everyday possible, including the PIT file. All methods fail. A friend as said the bootloader is corrupt. I tried re flashing that but also no luck.
Is there a way of using an external SD card to get up and running? Or any other ideas out there.
Thanks and much appreciated.

You're using the wrong version of Kies, Kies 3 is for the Note 3 and devices made after it. Try downloading the original Kies http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/#none

No. The phone can only enter download mode. (Vol down, Home and Power).
Vol up, Home and Power keeps taking me to the firmware upgrade error screen.
Removing battery and pressing power on button also takes me to the firmware upgrade error screen.
Thanks

Since your Knox counter is still untripped, I'd recommend contacting Samsung as I'm pretty sure the SDS has no software fix.

Hey have you tried Odin 3v1.87 I know that the partition error is very common on the later Odin clients.
Also make sure to uninstall Kies before using Odin as it nearly always interferes.
