after 2 days my phone display will be flashing when shake it ... i install TWRP custom recovery and then wipe cash , wipe data factory reset but problem still unresolved . is this a hardware problem ?!
It would appear to be as no one else has the issue you describe as a result of ROM or recovery choices.

Hello guys,
My nexus has a weird issue of TWRP recovery, sometimes after a reboot to the recovery it does not respond to the touch only a battery pull and rebooting again into recovery says battery % drop from 19-4, last time it was from 22-8 and this had started happening now. Tried reflashing recovery also but it didn't solve anything....
Any one do have an explanation for this ??
I was using my phone earlier today and was attempting to extract an archived file with OfficeSuite 7. I had merely 400-500 of free space available at this point. After a few attempts and cancellations due to failure to extract I decided to restart my phone. Upon restarting it continuously will vibrate, show the Samsung logo for a moment, the screen will flicker off and it loops through that process all over again indefinitely. I can access download mode and recovery mode. I tried clearing the cache through recovery and removing the battery as well as smacking around the power button but it did not fix the problem.
I'm using stock TouchWiz Android 4.1.1 partly debloated, rooted, and stock recovery (because this ROM reflashes the stock recovery after a reset if a non stock recovery is installed).
I figure a factory reset might be the fix but I would need to extract my apps, settings, and SMS/all other data and I'm not sure how to do this with the phone in this condition and without an external SD card. Maybe I could flash ClockWorkMod, do a nandroid backup, and than extract this data with Titanium Backup? Can Titanium Backup do all that I am asking (I've barely used it)? Does anyone have an idea as to what the cause of the problem is to have this suddenly happen? I'm thinking it's the power button malfunctioning. The day prior twice my phone turned itself off.
Twrp has built in file manager. Copy to sd, then to computer?
Otherwise look into ADB.
what is happening
strange I am have the same issues . from working great to now FC and rebooting . almost like it the power button malfunctioning but it is not. Its something more. I was running DocHoliday 4.3 and was great . then I tried Aamir Mod V2 UVDMD5 4.3 same great . but this morning noticed it kept rebooting for no reason . wiped reset, nothing . looped and looped . wipe/reset and re-flashed and it will only stay on for a mintue . and if sleeps will not turn it F/C as soon as I touch power button.. crazy ???
anyone having the same problems with any 4.3 ROMs ??
I'm having the problem on my S3, but I'm not on 4.3 yet....
I already had this issue once 2 weeks ago and I factory wiped and started over. Fast forward two weeks forward and it started again today. WTF?

Are you using TWRP? I had a similar issue, upgraded to newest TWRP 2.6.3.1 and it was fixed. Before this I tried everything, factory reset/modem upgrade/different roms.. and it wasn't working..other than a rooted touchwiz rom.
Give it a shot.. might work..
As per Perseus71:
Install TWRP 2.6.3.1. Then take a Nandroid.
Next wipe /Data. Then flash your Custom Rom. Wipe Dalvik + Cache after the Flash.
i did a foolish action and without making backup and enough study tried to flash by custom ROM but at the beginning after wiping all data and reboot just remained in huawei logo. how to flash the phone at this stage? what can i do? thanks
actually i clicked Wipe > Advanced Wipe and select Everything and just clicked wipe button. Then everything gone.
the problem solved.
how did u solve the problem i have the same problem help me plz
i have S-OFF , ViperOne 6.1.0,TWRP recovery, i have 2 problems, 1-no sound, 2-Bootloops after reboot,
i cant do anything related to sound like playing vids and calls. after it reboots like 20 times it opens again but with no sound !
the problem happened i think when i installed xposed and forgot to wipe cache and Dalvik,
what i have done already : Wiped everything, cache, internal, factory reset, ..
flashed htc ViperOne rom again,,, the sound came back again but after the 2nd reboot i got bootloop, after it opened like 10min later: no sound ! ,, there is no sound even in the stock rooted version 4.2.2
is there anything i can flash to restore the sound
note : my charging port is damaged so i cant get device info unfortunately
Thanks you

screen went black, and now I cant do anything. Phone boots normally. LED indicator at the top shows that the phone is booting fine. (the top half also gets super hot for some reason?)
Any ideas on how to get it back? Or is it bricked?

If you are still on the stock recovery originally installed, see if you can boot it manually into Recovery mode. If the screen shows in Recovery mode, chances are you have developed a corruption from something you installed etc., not bricked it. You can try wiping Cache when in Recovery mode but I suspect you will have do a Factory Reset from there. If you have installed a custom recovery and have a known good backup, you could restore that or re-install the rom in a clean flash (wiping Cache, Dalvik cache, System and importantly, format Data > Yes.
Failing that, you may have to replace the screen or send it in for repair if it is a hardware issue.

I just flashed a 100% stock rom with putting the phone in download mode and using LGUP, same problem... Guess it's bricked :/
It's not even worth it to repair, I just wanted to see if I could fix it myself
Thanks anyways

If you were able to see the download mode screen, it is more than likely not a hardware issue. You have to do a full wipe (preferably, Cache, Dalvik cache, System and Data (best would be a format of the data partition), to get rid of any data/rom corruption that may be causing the black screen issue. If you did not do this, try that first, making sure you re-install the same original rom that the phone came with, before junking the phone.
