Hi everyone,
I just had a very frustrating experience tonight and I really need help because I don't understand why my phone would behave like that.
I wanted to update my phone and go to android 6.0 marshmallow, I tried to flash the latest builds of both SkyDragon and CandySix but here's what happened :
_Concerning SD, the flashing stopped while installing busybox and it said something like "Some symlinks failed"
_Concerning CandySix, the flashing went all the way completely right, everything was OK but when I tried to boot the ROM, it would just boot into teh recovery instead.
Please excuse my english and help me, I really want to update my phone to marshmallow...

Hello everyone.
So I have unlocked/rooted my phone and it worked fine with the normal system that comes with the Andriod.
But, now there is some sort of problem, I can not upgrade my phone to the Jelly Bean 4.1 (I am currently on 4.0.4 rooted version).
I see a msg that states that there is an update for my phone and when I chose install now, the phone reboots and "installs" the new system But eventually it goes back into the same old system and the update did not work for some reason and I again see the install update now option.
I tried a different approach by trying to install the cyanogenmod that has the new Jelly Bean upgrade. But I always end up stuck at the booting screen, so I have to go back to the recovery and reinstall the old system.
Please someone help me, is there a way where I can share a log or something of my system so that someone would figure out if there is some sort of system code error?
Is there any software that can check this or help me with this issue!.
I need help, I can not upgrade my phone or even install any mods
Am stuck. Please help me
Thanks in advance.

you must have done something to the file system, change system files, delete system files, install a custom recovery....

.... which sounds like you did. You can't run the official OTA update with a custom recovery installed. Read this thread to update to JB from a stock rom with a custom recovery installed.

install android-sdk
learn adb and fastboot for the flashing needs by reading this thread.
After succesfully installing cm 13 on my htc one m8 which felt slow and i didnt really like the ui of sense, i noticed that supersu told me to update its binary everytime i opened the app and after selecting the twrp update option it would boot into recovery but do nothing else ..... so i deleted the app, downloaded the newest version of supersu on my sd and went to the recovery mode.
after spending some time cleaaring the cache i took an attempt to flash the su file and tried to boot, i got stuck on a bootloop and got pretty freaked out. i uninstalled the system aswell and tried to reflash everything . when i tried to reinstall my cm 13 file combined with the Gapps twrp black screened and started up again. While i was getting stressed out i forgot to backup my old system which ran fine btw and im pretty lost at this point . can anyone try to help me get a working phone back please , im pretty new to the whole android scene and i have to admit that making a rookie mistake like not backing up stuff is pretty bad. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Hello everyone,
I find myself with a big problem with my OP3T. Wanting to upgrade to the android 10 version of the Havoc rom, I got the E1001 error 7 message so impossible to install it.
Wanting to restore my old version (Havoc Pie), it doesn't boot once reinstall and sends me directly in Fastboot Mode.
Well then I decide to reset everything and reflash the rom under Pie and Error 7 too ... WTF!
I checked everything, my recovery is up to date, I have the latest firmware installed. I tried everything in vain, always this error 7 with any rom even the official one.
I don't know where this problem comes from but having spent about 10 hours looking for the solution, but nothing is solved
Need your help!!! thank you in advance :crying::crying::crying::crying:
Hello to everyone!
I need help about my s9, few days ago I installed LightROM on my s9(over the TWRP lastest version),everything worked fine,I was curios about installing the other kernel, which I did, I installed(whitewolf kernel) and after that Im not possible to boot my phone into the ROM, in case if LightROM is installed its looping in SAMSUNG logo, if AOSP is installed it boots into Download mode. Dont know why is phone acting this wierd now. Im downloading the default stock rom right now, Ill try to install it with Odin, hope that will reset everything back to normal. Im writing this thread in meantime while Im waiting maybe some of you knows the fix, so I dont have to download the stock rom(firmware).
Tried installing the stock kernel from AROMA installer, it doesnt change anything. If I set TG kernel to be installed, it passes the samsung logo but gives me encryption failed. I tried also installing the by pass for encryption but it gives me error "1" in TWRP.
Hope someone helps,Im out of ideas!
Thanks have a great day(atleast better than mine)
I would like to install a custom rom, but when trying I came across an error in the twrp saying that the zip was not compatible.
It's the first time I'm doing it, so I'd like some help to understand the whole process from the beginning, what I need to unlock before installing the rom and everything.
I'm on Android 10, ie binary 10.
Thank you for your attention in advance
