Network Issue, No Service - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am having Strange problem with my Verizon M8, S-Off, Unlocked to all networks.
I do get data and Network Signal but after sometime , suddenly it gets lost and i get NO SERVICE. Again after sometime it again receives the signal. It can even take hours to get signal at times. be it 2g or 3g
I have tried reverting back to pure stock unrooted 4.4.2, 4.4.3, 4.4.4 and 5.01. Still couldn't resolve the issue.
What can be he problem. Can it be the signal cable (Antenna) or other hardware Problem..

[Q] Sporadic GSM signal loss on Froyo [RESOLVED - SIM HW defect]

My phone loses signal often without any obvious reason - i.e. I've placed it on a table where the coverage is 100% and just leave it like this, but suddenly there's no signal at all. Usually in a while the connectivity is restored, but sometimes it just gets stuck without signal (installed "No signal alert" to monitor it).
I'm in Bulgaria, so there should be no problems with the UK release. I tried with 3.4.3-11 and 3.4.2-155, loosing signal on both. I just downgraded to 3.4.2-145 and the signal is stable for now...
For the record, I tested it with "clean" install - wiped, then flashed the SBF - no root, no clockwork recovery, no custom ROM, no apps...and the phone keeps loosing signal pretty often.
Anyone else noticed such behavior?
Hmm, I'm loosing signal with 3.4.2-145 as well...I'll try with different operator to see if there's difference. The other option is to downgrade to Eclair - which I guess is not an option anymore after flashing Froyo...
I'm currently using the 3.42.155 and haven't really experienced signal losses. Could it be that you must get your hardware checked? I hope you solve it soon! Goodluck!
3g and Voice calls are related, when you receive a voice call 3g is dropped, and when you hang up the phone its resumed, but if you have the wrong baseband it could happen the opposite, signal reception drops when 3g is transmiting/receiving.
This may be your case,
To the point Bad 3g speed / bad signal / drops in signal / drops in 3g, all is repaired just changing the baseband.

Sorry I left the thread without update - it turned out the SIM got defective, it just coincided with the Froyo upgrade and mislead this is the cause. After I downgraded to 2.1 it kept loosing coverage, than I moved the SIM to an old Sony Ericsson and I got "SIM Inactive" error...I don't get it why Android/Motorola can't distinguish such hardware defects...
not sure if it's your SIM, but when i was on 3.4.2-145, i also have this same problem. Had a friend with a Nokia but same operator, had 100% coverage and my phone with EMERGENCY CALL only. But it comes back in a while or so. Not sure if it's the ROM or not, but now with LiquidArc (with 3.4.3-11), signal seems to be very good, or at least on par with the dumb-phones

No phone signal yet can use mobile internet

I've got a strange problem that I cannot solve or find anyone else that has had the same problem.
I recently updated to Minco V4 and since my status bar has been showing no signal and mobile standby shows 100% without signal yet I have mobile data. I cannot make any phone calls but can browse the internet. No amount of rebooting, airplane mode on/off will work. I've also gone back to both stock ICS and JB where the problem still exists.
My network is T-Mobile and it won't let me manually connect to it but the phone will occasionally register when I select automatic although it doesn't correct the fault. Anyone have any ideas what has gone wrong with my phone?
UPDATE: It seems I can only get a phone signal when select 2g T-mobile network only or connecting to T-Mobile orange. If I untick 2g networks and it connects to t-mobile 3g I can't receive or make calls.
Does your Radio and baseband match?
I installed the linked radio from the MiNCO thread after flashing the rom and discovering this issue yet it made no difference.
I got a phone signal momentarily about 15 mins ago which allowed me to make a short phone call to test it. I then accepted the JB system update from Google and now have no phone signal, just data.

What could be causing my no service problem?

After restoring my lost IMEI values i still have no service. Even though I am clearly receiving a signal, I have no service when I try to do anything.
Occasionally when i turn the phone on ill get about 5 minutes of 4g but no lte, but this eventually decays into nothingness.
What could be causing this problem? Im baffled and in need of a working phone. I unrooted, returned to stock, and updated to latest firmware ota and still nothing.

Connection Dropping Off

Hello. My data carrier (2G, 3G & 4G connection) keeps dropping out, and I have to restart my phone all the time to get it back. Any fixes for that?
I have the same issue in UK on O2. Seems hardware issue as it started happening recently... couple of months after v20D update on my 815.

H815 GSM (2G) problem - loosing signal

Hello,
I have a problem with 2G signal.
My phone random lost 2G signal. If I am not in a 3G coverage, I don't make any call.
3G and LTE signal are mostly OK.
Same problem is on any custom ROM, and official ROM (I tested V20g and now I have V20k).
It will be probably a hardware problem
Do you have someone the same problem as me?
Any idea?
I have a unlocked bootloader and I try find a solution before sending to a service...
