Xperia Play Hard bricked - Xperia Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I, about 2 or 3 years ago hard bricked my xperia play.
Since then it has been laying around in my drawer.
I decided to give fixing it another try since I could really need it right now so i gave it a shot.
The red led flashes like 3 times when charging it and sometimes the green led flashes.
When I connect it to my laptop it is only recognized as unknown device, however when i connect the testpoints when plugging it in it is recognized QHSUSB_DLOAD.
Anybody got an idea how to fix it?

So when i try to patch with s1tool it gives me this message:

In my device manager it is recognized as SEMC flash device now.

does blu light turn on when connected to pc while holding search button?
does green light turn on when connected to pc while holding back button?
if yes i would try to flash stock ftf from flashtools, or try repair with seus or pcc, if you havn't already..so, how did you brick it? bad flashing?

Yea the blue and green light do flash.
I tried flashing tft with flashtool but i got the ERROR - Processing of loader.sin finished with errors.
After trying some stuff with testpoint and s1tool it now even vibrates when pressing the power button.
Ye i think i did something wrong when flashing a rom last time.
Im actually pretty sure that i have a locked bootloader and that it is probably damaged now.

And ye i already tried both pcc and seus but seus doesnt seem to recognize the phone.

If it makes you feel better, my Xperia play is bricked for a while as well and has a similar problem to yours. If i find a solution i'll try and keep you updated. Good luck

Not recognized simlock certificate damaged trim area!

hi my bootloader is locked. im getting an error saying please insert sim card
i have tired all types of sim cards but when i boot the phone it keeps asking me to insert sim card does it have something to do with the sim lock TA? how can i fix this ? thanks log.txt

[Q] HELP - mistake then no boot

Hello im new (and fr so, sorry for my bad english)
I tried all the day to install lupus , then i unlock the bootloader by point by point with succes .
after that was impossible to boot in fastboot mod
and i did a badflash with flashtool64 : i flash with (device : x10 ; version : V1 ; branding : blrelock ) dont ask why ....that was a stupid move .
now the phone wont start and wont do anything (no red light in usb or in charge) last time the battery was at 100% charged .
So if you have a solution that will be super :good:

can u boot ur phone into flashmode???
if yes try to flash stock frimware

i never can boot in fastboot mod i tried (when the phone worked) with quickboot to but never seen the blue light
i cant test the flashmode , the phone wont boot ...no green light no screen play ..
s1tool dont reconize anymore the phone ,flashtool to.

Open flashtool.
Power off phone (but i presume it is already off)
Press and hold back key on phone and while keeping it pressed plug usb cable into PC (so it can enter flashboot mode)
What flashtool report?

So the only things appens now, it's that QHSUSB_DLOAD is connected but no programme used that
Looks like damaged trim area.

Maybe someone know other method, but i don't
Also, try Emma software, maybe it will recognize the phone

yes i read about that, like http://medusabox.com/ :/ you need to buy a SETool dongle/box

I think i find a new way for broken device i have to download a firmware to test it ... i find the way to connect my phone in flashmode and the green light back again (until i stay connected)

until you stay connected in usb you are in flashmode ... then go in flashtool and just have to flash !!!!

Can you explain what did you exactly do to make it work?
As i understand:
-you connected phone with holding back or search button and used s1tool (any link?)
-you flashed stock firmware? Wich one?

Flashtool64 is launched, after with S1tool sarted Test point method in patch SEMCBoot , whill doing this the phone connected into flashmode in flashtool64 ;
At the end i used SONY update service for update , when he ask me to connect the phone in flashmode i've done the testpoint methode with S1tool then the firmware installed..
Sorry but dont rememember the vers. i directly installed with flashtool64 (after succes) firmware 4.0.2.A.0.58 Enhanced , i think that was 4.0.2.A.0.79

Connecting the phone when it was "broke" will holding back or search button dont done anything.
The test point connect the phone in flashmode.

i switched the pc and the usb cables i cleaned the usb port
i think my phone is a bootloader corrupted cause the PID and VID for my phone are 0000
but when i press vol+ and insert usb for many times the SONY logo appears for 3 SEC and then the phone goes down
non of the flashmode or fastboot mode are working
tried SEUS and FLASHTOOL.. the same problem
my device is unknown
what should i do sir please help should i try RIFF box or may i have a trim area damaged

Xperia M dual C2005 Failed flash (system.sin error)

I flashed my xperia m dual sim c2005 with firmware version 15.5.A.1.5, supposedly stock 4.3JB. Unfortunately the flashing process stopped during system.sin file processing and now the phone no longer boots or enters FlashMode. When I plug the USB cable, the green light appears below and remains even after I unplug the cable. For some reason when I hold Vol_UP and plug the USB cable FlashTool recognizes the phone in Fastboot mode; However, pressing Vol_DOWN to enter FlashMode doesn't appear to yield any outcome, not even a notification sound in windows.
I'm really looking forward to any suggested solutions.

Xperia M (Dual) - C2004 cant't start..!
when i used the kingo root for one click root, after few second of start rooting the device is shutdown suddenly and then can't open after this ...
(only sony logo shows and then xperia logo shows) after 4 second of process this cycle will continue and can not stop this cycle..!

After install wrong rom, my Sony Xperia M became dead Phone won't turn on, no fastboot and flashmode lights. When I try connecting the phone to pc, device manager shows 'QHSUSB_DLOAD'. When I connected testpoint with GND, opened s1tool and connected to pc, bottom light turn on first in green color and after few seconds- red and on s1tool shows error 'llbug...' Is there a chance to bring the c1905 to life? Thanks for help
