The service agent for Elephone and many other manufacturers (according to their website) is Tomrepair (tomrepair.com). I emailed them twice about a repair and neither time did they bother to reply, so I'm not impressed.

Wondering if anyone knows if there are any internal LDI's in the Verizon LG G4.
I see the LDI on the battery and between the SIM and battery contacts.
Ifixit has a teardown of the G4. It doesn't say which variant it is. I couldn't see any internal indicator, though.

Hello,
I see throughout this forum much much complains about the signal strengh of the OP3, calls dropping, not sending / receiving sms. But what is it REALLY about the Europe ? People are most of the time from India or idk where, so is there any French's people here or near France (Deustch, Spanish, Italian, Swiss,.....) and can give a review of the calls and communications quality.
Because Internet's reviews gives some good review but what about real user's review ?
Thank you !
Hi
I am in Paris .. I confirme that..
I hope they can fix it..
Regards
Idk about you guys but op3 has better signal than sgs7e ... I get full bars LTE at my home. While i nearly got 2 with galaxy... I live in Kosovo (Prishtina)

Was talking not about data but communication, plus in France or at least center of Europe, data LTE don't seems to be concerned, just the calls, the sms etc.. who apparently don't send, or don't receive right now messages
Everything works grate in sweden. 3.2.4

Anyone else in Europe ?
The only recurrent problem I have is with the sms taking a long long time to be sent. Sometimes they are sent immediately, sometimes I get the sms stuck in the "sending" message and it takes more than a minute to be sent. BTW, nobody has got my sms repeated multiple times as I have read elsewhere.
No problem here in South of Paris. Better than my OnePlusOne.

Neither with sms lag nor call drop ?
Hi there!
North of France, had OP3 since July and I didn't had any trouble like call dropping or unsent texts. Still on stock rom, almost up-to-date (minus last update), rooted and xposed installed.
NO calldrop or sms problem

Hello,
I have read the question repetifly and will answer it.
Q: release date of the global MIUI ROM for the Mi 5s or Mi 5s Plus?
A: Never.
This device is a China only device. It will not update the existing Mi5 on the "global" market, that means wherever Xiaomi sells phones outside of China.

sure.
Before we start to have a Global ROM is needs:
Global ROM is released only if the device is officially sold outside of China in countries like India, Malaysia, Singapore etc... without any hardware changes.

You can always hope that the device gets launched in Malaysia or Singapore, yet this is very unlikely if Xiaomi doesn't plan to launch it in India first. People in these country already have the Mi5, a more expensive version of the Mi5 may not be sell good.

You ended up in the wrong section.
This is the Redmi Note 4 section: http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-4
And that's a topic I posted in the Redmi Note 4 section: [ROM] MIUI 8 Global Stable ROM for Redmi Note 4 (MTK) - Released!
But all of this has nothing to do with the Xiaomi Mi 5s.

Also, Mi 5s has more aggressive pricing that Mi 5. I cannot get the 128GB Mi 5 with the same money I spend on my Mi 5s.
But, yeah, I wouldn't hold my breath when or if xiaomi will launch this globally.
Ah great That gives hope for a global rom!
Hey everbody,
The Mi 5S Plus got a Global ROM at MIUI website.

Can we expect same thing at Mi 5S? I think the Plus edition is being selled on same countries of the 5.1" version.
Hello, I have a OP3 A3000 with a cracked screen, however as I'm currently in Indonesia there's no way for me to repair it through OnePlus. I found a place that sells replacement screen for OnePlus 3, but the guy said that it is labeled for OnePlus 3 A3003 screen replacement. Is the A3003 replacement part compatible with the A3000 version?
If i'm not wrong, it's the same phone.
A3003 it's world wide. A3000 are for China & Usa. Different are the bands for telephone, internet.
Its just a branding both phones are the same.
Did you buy it? Is it compatible
Hi,
does my phone (from Hong Kong) support esim?
I cannot find "add mobile Plan" to activate esim.

Yea it should. This is a CSC feature. Check and maybe change your CSC. It will wipe your phone.

No you can not. Only Samsung knows the reasoning behind some of its decisions.

No Snapdragon variants support eSim besides the Galaxy Fold. Changing the Firmware or CSC won't enable eSim. SM-G9860 is a Dual SIM Device, eSim shouldn't be an issue.

It's a few issues, an e-Sim is soldered to the motherboard, that's hardware related. The only thing which makes sense in adding an e-Sim on a Dual Sim device such as yours is you could use a MicroSD in combination with both Sim's. e-Sim can accommodate up to 5 virtual numbers. I suppose some businessmen would find that useful but in general 2 Sim's are more than enough for most users. On the Galaxy S8 you could shave a Sim and attach it to the top of a MicroSD, allowing Dual Sim's and external memory however Samsung eliminated that option on the S9. I doubt the S20 can be customized in that manner.

In theory all S20 models have eSim capability. I don't know if all S20 models have eSim hardware. I think that's the case however eSim functionality also requires the Carrier's wireless service provide each customer an eSim Profile. Why they haven't or won't offer that feature for Snapdragon variants of the S20 is a good question but I doubt any CSR can answer that. I and others believe US Carriers don't want to enhance their customers ability to switch service provider's at their discretion. Customer Retention surely is part of the reason.
Explains why Samsung updates are slow; They are busy making 100 different variants of the same model, removing that resister and that transistor etc etc country to country.

Totally agree, way too many variants has led to a lot of frustration. Samsung should equip all models with a single, efficient SoC. This would be a great first step for rectifying compatibility issues
