[Q] Super Jelly Bean 3.0 draining out battery too much

Hi,
I installed super jelly bean 3.0 on my xperia arc s, everything is working fine except for high battery drain ... Had turned off data traffic, wifi, bluetooth, gps etc ( killed all background processes) still it wouldn't last for a day ( even i had put in silent mode ) ... So should i switch back to sony stock ICS os or any custom rom which is stable that i can put ?

Hi !
Which Kernel do you use with SuperJellyBean ??
You can try RacingBean! Battery drain is very good but there are many ROMs for The Arc so try the over because i don't know the battery drain of all ROM !! Choose the ROM who is perfect for you !

Since there is no actual JB ROM is really well-developed for Xperia Arc/S
I suggest you use ICS for now and wait till CM 10 is stable.
I am using Xperia Ultimate HD 3.0.2
It is very like a stock one with lots of features from SONY. However it's much smoother and faster. (even more than CM 9.1)

No, choose an other ROM as SuperJB ! Try to reflash stock firmware and then reflash Arcfusion 5.4

Thanks for the suggestion, shall try it out :good:
My experience is the battery life on superJB is far more superior compared with any ICS.
It could be an app you are using.
But of course this sort of debate isnt allowed!
Maybe you should try 4?
My battery life can last 2 days with moderate use (only switching on wifi and such when required)
I also use Greenify to stop apps from running in the background when the screen is off

Why don't you try fusion 5.4 with SJB 4.0
I went to sleep with my battery at 3%, slept 8 hours, and it was still at 3%
I manage to get a day and a half usage out of it :/ Have you tried taking of auto sync in data usage menu?

MiuiV5 stockBased, MiuiV5 by iHackers or ExistenZ?

What is the Rom with better performance? I want to try MIUI, but i remember that the MIUI of iHackers had the problem of "non in market apps" (like Unicredit App). How is the stock based by balcangsm? Thank you very much. (battery life is very important for my decision).

All are good ROMs.. MIUI by iHackers is only for UB.. MIUI stock based is mainly for smoothness, good battery backup and indeed done for LB.. eXistenZ has completely Sony Xperia Honami aka Z1 UI in it.. Complete port of Z1 framework in it.. So more like Stock Honami in ur SXS..
The official end of the package a good point
So are You suggesting me to use miui by Ihacker or miui stock based? i have ub, root..
Sent from my LT26i using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
??
try them both and see wich one is better for you
you have ub so you can try the tow of them

Thank you, and do you think is better, for gaming, a stock 4.1, an "unstable" CM 4.1;4.2 , or a Cyanogen Stable cm9? Thank you in advance!

i never tried CM so i cant tell ,, but i had seen around some users complain about game crash on CM based
agian you can try and see by yourself
Stock, aosp or cm10 roms are best
Stock - stable but lacks graphics smoothnesd
Aosp - no stable working ones
Cm10- some games dont work or crash often BUT has best performance
Everything kinda folows especialy if you test this with max graphics on GTA 3 or real racing (have to mod to do)
Like i said cm10 or stock
Battery, stock based has superiour battery once you turm on extended battey mode (jb of course)
Honnestly i use stock based roms

[REQ]Honami Camera for Kitkat

Hey guyz I am using CM11 kitkat Rom on my xperia ion
AOSP Camaera is not that good at all
So guyz please share Honami Camera for Kitkat with installation procedures:fingers-crossed:
There is no honami camera port for cm11, and possibly there won't be any because the honami camera depends on sony framework which does not exist in cm roms
Nothing is impossible its need effort only...

CM11 with some Sony apps?

Good evening everyone,
I've just booted my new Z1 compact and tried the stock rom a little bit.
As old CM user I want to flash it as on each of my android devices. The Sony Walkman app and the Sony camera app are really good. Is it possible to install them on the current CM11 ROM?
regards
MarcMarin

There are much roms with CM11!
Each ROM with [CM] in the Title is a Cyanogen mod - based ROM
I use for example Paranoid Android!
I´m realy happy with this ROM but i want the Stock-Camera back!
Question to Heavy Users, is there a Chance to run the Stock camera-App
(Mostly because of using the camera-button to take quick pictueres)
Best regards!

Look here...
There doesn't seem to be a very active forum though...
The two ASOP rom's that actually seem to have active forums are:
ParanoidAndroid 4+
and
Carbon Rom
I've used Carbon quite a bit, I haven't actually tried Paranoid. I have had prior builds of CM11 also installed on my zl...
Backup your boot loader before you unlock your phone (if you intend to play with any of these... you have to unlock your boot loader... if you try to install without unlocking your boot loader, your phone will boot-loop...)
Read a bit before you get too excited with trying stuff...
