test this
Change WCDMA to LTE and see if you get signal. Probably your phone WCDMA bands are locked.
I have the same problem with my M8 and still trying to unlock WCDMA bands since I live in Europe and my HTC was imported from USA.

Unlock LTE Bands EMEA Model m10h

Hi to continue from my start point:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/help/m10h-lte-converted-to-unlocked-t3505409#post69893882
I got to the conclusion I only need to unlock somehow (maybe with Qualcomm tools just if diag mode code worked, but it doesn't).
Had been reading this very interesting thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/help/unlock-lte-bands-t3375736/page6
And I would like to know if anyone had an idea how to achieve this. As far as im concerned both HTC 10 US and EMEA have both exact same hardware.
Thanks for your help!
Any help ?

Unlocking all LTE Bands

I have the Nokia 6.1 (2018) international version. I am trying to enable the US LTE bands for compatibility with T-Mobile. Is there a way for me to do this without root? Is there a way to do it with root? Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin Long

Did you ever figure this out?
Hum... what is the "international version"? (TA-????)
The international version is TA-1068
I'd also like to know.
I'm getting band 4,5 on AT&T only.
You can only manage / force your phone to do that with root.
No root = use provider / googles android-one standard settings.

This isn't something you can do with or without root. It's not that those bands are somehow locked by software or firmware. The hardware is different.

Install A70F with A70M firmware

Hi,
Is it possible to install A70M firmware on A70F device?
Regards
I don't think so. However I'm not entirely sure. I also have the the A705F. Software updates take longer to arrive. Would be pretty sweet to flash a different countries firmware.
Thx the bro, I will wait for somebody else opinion. The only difference is the bands in each version. If the bands are software related I don't see why will not work.
Anybody else with ideas

Buying N975U (US Cellular) and using in the UK

Hello, I want to get the snapdragon Note 10+, so a friend can get me the US Cellular N975U but I will be using it in the UK. So, if anyone can help to answer my doubts:
1) How do I check if the device is region locked?
2) Will I be able to receive the SW updates with my UK sim here? or am I going to be restricted to flash manually via odin etc?
Thanks in advance

Give this a look & then contact US Cellular with the device IMEI, they'll likely need it to check for unlock status.

As for getting updates with a non-US Cellular SIM Card, I'd definitely ask about that as well.
Hopefully, someone here @ XDA will chime-in with their experience.
