Hi all!
I have a question.
Is there any chance, or is there anybody who succesfully flash RM-823 rom on RM-808.
Do you have any ideas how to change these number? I don't care about LTE, because I don't have it in my country, so I would be really grateful if you help me.
Thanks
Vasek
You can't. The 7.8 update should be on Navifirm soon.
Well but I also need it due to language. So I hope there must be some kind of way how to do it...via registry edit or smthg like that?.

Nope. It's the bootloader that's blocking you from doing it. You should be able to install languages with the cab sender, but I have no idea. Never done it.

You don't care about the LTE, but your phone is an LTE device, so whether you care or not, still your phone is different from RM-823. You have to wait for your variant or buy a non-LTE phone so you can flash it right away. as far as i know, its not because of the number (eg: rm-823,rm-808), so even if you change the number, no you still can't flash the RM-823 variant. an LTE device require a different driver than RM-823.
ps: and yes, like exiva said, if your variant is out on navifrm, you gonna have to unlocked your bootloader to be able to flash the 7.8 update.

MyOpicWorm - how did you try it and when did you end? What was the problem or error which you got please?
Thanks

Yes it is, but it is also surely GSM mobile, because there are no LTE devices in our country. There is only GSM, so it must be also GSM, that was what I tried to say.
I don't care about it, because I don't need it. Understand?

If you can change the product code to one of RM-823, then you can flash 823 to 808 and vice versa. On Symbian device, I did a few times. However, I could not find any software which can change the product code for Luma 900 yet.
It would be superb if you find any software which can do it. I also googled and binged many pages, but can't find solution

They are different hardware and it's not possible. nor would you want to really. why are you wanting to do this?
Cause I would like to have my language (0405-Czech) there. And I don't know how to do it.
I downloaded both roms via navifirm, but don't know what now. I also downloaded CAB file, but no chance how to send it to phone. Cab sender says that no update available...so any help please?

You can't install another firmware if it is not suitable for your device.
Upgrade it to 8858 and after you have to install all the updates your language until 8858.

The ATT Lumia does both 3G and LTE.
Even if you could flash the ROM on it, most likely = bricked phone due to different hardware
Ok I'm new to LG here. was a Samsung boy.

I should of been more clean in my Question.
The EU Lg bootloader Unlock that is available. would it work on the 815K compared to just a 815 or 815EU.
As far as i can gather from the state of these threads the phones are the same. (besided bands you mentioned) when it comes to unlocking the bootloader.
~Thanks in Advance.
Unlock only works for 815EU models currently.. No other models are supported/unlocked...

You can if you S-OFF ($25) but there is really no reason to. US will work just fine and also receive updates faster.
What is int?

International, as in wwe..... also known as world wide English
Does it also work the other way around? The reason is, I have a International HTC 10 from Germany. I cannot really use it in the USA. People calling me get directly to my mailbox. I have to try several times to call them and the internet does not always work although I have a good 4G connection.
Do you think flashing a US or T-Mobile firmware would help?

You can covert between the different firmware versions if you are S-OFF
https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/how-to/guide-how-to-drand-convert-htc-10-to-t3374593
I did WWE to US unlocked, no problems.
Not sure if that would help your problems .... Although the US firmware has different radio, so maybe.

Ok, thanks! I currently have a stock HTC 10. So I am not sure about S-OFF. I will read a bit how to flash thre HTC 10 and try the US firmware. I will give feedback here, if it´s a solution to my problem. Maybe it will help others, too
I have the Nokia 6.1 (2018) international version. I am trying to enable the US LTE bands for compatibility with T-Mobile. Is there a way for me to do this without root? Is there a way to do it with root? Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin Long

Did you ever figure this out?
Hum... what is the "international version"? (TA-????)
The international version is TA-1068
I'd also like to know.
I'm getting band 4,5 on AT&T only.
You can only manage / force your phone to do that with root.
No root = use provider / googles android-one standard settings.

This isn't something you can do with or without root. It's not that those bands are somehow locked by software or firmware. The hardware is different.

No I'm aware the model numbers don't match up trust me if you search around the forums there's a thread that has this exact thing. Some guy thought that there was an official unlock for the T-Mobile variant but it turned out to be TIM mobile

People have tried it doesn't work, T-Mobile has different RSA Encryption Keys and fastboot is non existent. Everybody is trying to figure out a way to flash the European Rom to unlock the bootloader root and go back you just have to read around the forums

Your device (LMG710TMP) does not support unlocking the bootloader. Please check your model.
I tried and I recognized the correct model
Thank you very much for your information.
