Hello everybody,
Sorry about my english
When my mobile phone (H815 international) is off, and i plug the charger supply, it boots after battery icon who show charging ... Why ?!!
So it is very strange ...and i'm disapointed about that ...
Is someone get the same problem ?
I don't think is a problem but a feature of the phone.
Mine does the same.
Don't bother with it.
If you don't want to get disturbed put it in flight mode and let it charge.

Hum ... It's not normal ... We should let ours phone off if it need, all phones or others devices do that.
I am sure if it's a feature of this phone, we should remove it.
Wait for development !!!
It`s a feature of the phone, & if you like to charge the phone while off, just plug your charge cable when your phone runs and then turn it off- It won`t turn on, it will charge while turned off )
When you plug in while the phone is off, it turns on, it`s a feature.

My phone was unlocked, running a version of Insert Coin and with CWM recovery. It suddenly froze while using the Chrome browser, and after what seemed like quite a long time the phone restarted as I thought it would, but it was in a boot loop for some reason. I managed to get it into the bootloader, everything appearing normal still displaying it as unlocked, and I tried getting in to CWM but it froze on the HTC screen. I knew my phone was low on battery, so i tried getting it back to bootloader to turn it off. The bootloader then showed my phone as being Locked, with a warning saying the phone was too low on battery to flash anything. At this point i quickly turned it off to try save battery as it didn't seem to be charging. I had it plugged in, but the red LED wasn't lighting up. I tried turning it on but then it died while loading, so I presume the battery went.
So now it's plugged in, no red light showing so I presume its not charging, my PC won't detect it and it won't turn on or show any signs of life. I think if I can get the battery to charge at all I can fix it. I know it looks like it's gone for good, but I wanted to see if anyone could help. Any help is appreciated.
Plug into Wall charger and leave it For at least 3 hours, but make sure it is Powered off. The pc does provide enough power in this situation

left it on charging while i slept. Still doesn't turn on or show any signs of life, the phone is cold so I don't think it's charging at all. Is there anything else to try or will I see if HTC will fix it for free even though I think the warranty is void?

if your bootloader is showing LOCKED status then your warranty is not void...try to send it back to HTC service centre ASAP

I know for sure I unlocked it, but for some reason when my bootloader was saying I had low battery it said it was LOCKED again, but 2 minutes earlier it said it was UNLOCKED. Is it even possible to relock the bootloader without it showing RELOCKED without S-OFF?

nop sorry i dont have any idea about that :/
Warranty isn't void if its relocked ..it depends if the damage is due to yourself or its from the phone itself...just sent to them and say or wrote on a paper what's wrong and yes...so that it isn't due to yourself
Edit : use this batch file http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1658084
Then it should work all normal then

My phone won't actually turn on so I can't use that. The phone doesn't respond to anything, I don't understand how it could just die.
It isn't even showing the red dot while charging ? ...maybe just battery died......

I just got my G4 yesterday... I noticed that the phone turned itself on (after being switched off) upon charging. Is it normal that the phone power on by itself upon charging? Thanks
Maybe you accidelty touched it on. And didn't notice it,m
I believe I noticed this too myself. G4 completely discharged yesterday which I placed on charge switched off. After approx 30mins or so the phone had booted and was sat waiting for me to enter my SIM pin code.

Eric.. no matter what charger i am using... even from USB cable from the laptop, it will turn on the handset... so i think it is the way it is
I think that useful actually.
Some devices are just setup like that. No need for alarm.
My Asus Infinity tablet does it; regardless of the current battery level, if it's off and I plug it in, it will boot.
Hello, I have problem with my G4. First, stop charging. I must turn it off to charge but now when i try this my phone don't turn at all. When i plug charger when phone is booting i look like is charging but charge it too slow ( in Ampere app: 10 - 100 mA ). When i pull off the battery with plugged usb it turn on and show error about missing battery. Can i do anything with this ? Sorry for my bad english.

Allow me to try to explain because I am experiencing the same problem and I am searching for a solution as well.
Basically there is some issue with powering the phone. It sounds like for both InFinityWar and I, our phones' batteries died and when we try to charge them the phone won't charge (won't power on, no notification light). The thing is that when we take out the battery and just plug the phone in directly to the a charger without the battery in the actual phone, a symbol of a battery with a question mark in it appears on the screen.
I do not know about OP but I have bought a new battery and have still been experiencing the same problem.

Seems to me that maybe the charging pins are short check to see if there is maybe rust on it....take it to a technician in ur local area maybe worth a 10$ fix
I bought a second hand Z1 compact, fully functioning (with root, cm12.1)
Unfortunately, the magnetic charger which came with the phone, could be connected in the wrong polarity. connector was hot after 1 minute, so I disconnected right away. But the phone charging capability was damaged already. It cannot charge with magnetic anymore (flashing led). Charging with usb is working, but after reaching 70% the charger OR phone is disconnecting each second (short circuit issue maybe?) so screen is flashing.
I can use the phone on the 70% charge but I don't trust it anymore. The phone also killed the charger of my old LG phone, after some hours charging on the LG (normal USB) charger, the charger malfunctioned, gives no output anymore)
The Sony charger is still alive.
Should I consider the phone bricked, or can it be repaired?
I had a lot of problem using magnetic charger. It burned my battery (after full charge/ recalibrate battery, the phone, at 70%, shut down as 0%) and I had to change it. In my opinion, don't use it except in the case you use sony official accessories
Try to recalibrate battery, or flash a stock rom. In final istance, if nothing works, probably you've to change battery
Have the same issue on mag charger. But was connected less than a second in wrong polarity. I will see how far charhing can be done on USB. When repair needed, is it battery to replace or is there any charging electronics that needs to / can be replaced?

It depends. If magnetic charger broked the battery, should be enough change it. If charger causes also display flash/ display issues could be also other problems. I suggest you to send it to sony, or other affidable technician
Thanks, phone operates quite ok, i currently stuck at 87% with charging, and charging seems slow.... I charged party switched off, partly switched on. Currently, as soon as disply is on (in phone off state, so the charging animation) the chargong led flashes at 87%, if screen iy off, charging led lites orange. With mag charger connected. With USB charger, it turns off....
So I still have hope. Any way to reset any bat stats, not sure if there are any...

You're "lucky": my phone shut down with 70% of charge, and sure 100% was a battery problem
The phone is off, when i plug the charger the phone power on automatically, i don't know if it's hardware related problem or just a feature??
My honor 10 dont have this issue..

Will get restarted immediately or it will restart after some time if later is the case then it might have charged above 50% and get started . It was a feature in some android forks but havent heard about it till now in EMUI. May be they have introduced it in Magic UI.
