T-Mobile offers Sprint customers $200 per line for switching over - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+

Well, I got my tmobile lines a little too early I guess. Anyone have any luck or suggestions on how to get this offer even though they jumped the gun too early? I have 6 lines ported over from Sprint about 3 weeks before the promotion... HELP! $1200 is not a small amount haha

The only thing I can suggest is calling the loyalty department and see if they can do something. Doubt they will be able to but it's worth trying.

Anyone happen to have a direct number to that?

T-mobile has some pretty damn good customer service compared to others, especially Sprint. I really wouldn't even be surprised of they credited your account.

Also, you could email the CEO and his executive team, they're good also. [email protected]

I was actually able to get $350 per line for early termination fees back in September.

I have to trade in my Photon at Radio Shack. I'm still in my 30 day trial period and they don't start selling it till today...at 9 am.
The Sprint manager is going to call me to come in to pick up 3 ET that she's holding for me, free of charge, when they arrive at the store. Was going to go at opening time too.
Yea, I'm waiting. I still was unsure if BB or RS is selling them locally tomorrow. I was hoping they would be dropping their prices to $149, but I doubt it. So, lose nothing by going with Sprint I guess.

I am wondering that too, is Best buy selling them today or not? or am I going to have to go the corporate store? its 3:22 am for me now and I cant sleep either.

Its better to exchange the Photon for Galaxy S2 then to return and buy somewhere else. If you exchange you are still liable for the $200 ETF and $18 upgrade fee of the original contract. If you return and buy the new contract terms will be $350 ETF and $36 upgrade fee. Also if I am reading Sprint's memo correctly customer support can no longer give out credit for the upgrade fee.

Damn 50 miles to get a phone. Maybe waitng 2-3 days is the better choice for your options. I just hope they dont sell out with pre orders and I cant get mine today.

AT&T No Committment pricing?

Anyone know? $599, $699? Plan to pre-order at whatever the retail is.
Somewhere along those lines I believe.

Nope. I chatted with a rep earlier about it. No information posted online for them, and her scripts didn't say anything. She checked with a supervisor who confirmed that AT&T hadn't told them what the off-contract price would be.
I'm expecting $649-$699 for the 16GB version, but am prepared to go as high as $799 based on international prices for off-contract phones.
The rumor for tmo is $700, I figure att would be similar.

$649 is alright. Why not $549 or $599?
On TMobile's website it is $649,

Kinda hard to be "stoked" at the price but that's what I just paid for my T-mobile variant... Although it's not as bad as what a lot of people were paying for International N7100's but they just sold for $589.00 on Ebay so if I didn't have to pay tax I would have been a tad more "stoked"... Only on XDA will you hear someone say they were stoked about that price! LOL I am just messin with ya though cause I am glad it wasn't the $699.00 that I thought it was going to be...

I tried to order one at no-commitment price, but even when you choose that option rather than 1-year or 2-year contract, it will not let you buy without choosing a plan. I cannot figure out how to buy just the phone from AT&T.

If you've already got an account, log in and run it as an upgrade. Full retail is the only price you'll see, but it will stick to your current data and voice plans without prompting you to select a new one.
The rep I spoke to initially said to order the phone with a plan, then cancel that plan as soon as the phone arrives. Not sure I like that idea, as touching your plan at all could potentially take you off of unlimited data.
The Galaxy Not original was $849.99 So i would safely guess close to there.
I pre-ordered the Sammy G-note II from AT&T the first day available on the 25th and I paid $649 plus the tax of $39 and it is said that I will be getting it Nov. 6th to Nov. 9th.

You can usually get a early upgrade from AT&T if you call or stop in the store it's usually the price of the phone plus 250.00 would make the phone 549.99 and all you have to do is extend your current contract to get it.
Does not matter if you have no contract but if you do you should be good does not hurt to ask
Anyone know a good insurance to get with the phone. I kind of want to preorder from ATT now so i can get the phone at launch. But best buy's $10/mo insurance seems to be an unbeatable deal and i may end up waiting for them. I had a nightmare damage experience with my previous phone so i dont wanna get the note 2 without insurance
Seems like atts $200 deductible makes their insurance garbage.

Upgrade and SERO accts

Hey all its upgrade time, and was on my sprint page about to upgrade, and it stated that I would have to add an 'additional' $10 fee, and also there was an $36 activation fee
Is this a new fee (currently have a epic 4g touch SII wimax 4g plan with a $10 fee added on)
And what happened to not having to pay an activation fee if you did it online?
Did sprint change this too, or is it because I have an older heavily discounted acct?
After all the taxes/fees the 'upgrade' comes to $400. Might as find a used one I was thinking

The website is saying that you need to change your account because it doesn't handle or understand SERO. The fees aren't added until you activate the phone. Because you're on SERO, you have to buy the phone first, but don't activate it online. Instead call the SERO folks. It's either 888-876-8381 or 888-882-4030. I don't remember which one I use.
You won't have to pay the additional $10 fee (you already are), and you might be able to sweet talk them into eliminating the $36 activation fee.
Thanks for the help
They will take of the WiMax $10 fee and put the LTE $10 fee. It's the same thing basically, they just have different names for that $10 add-on. My bill didn't change when I switched.

Before I can say anything how much are you paying now a month? If your paying $40 a month then after you upgrade you will pay $50. No way around that. As for $36 activation fee, you will have to pay that. You may get it back once it's in your bill. Or you can call sero line and order phone and have them waive activation fee at that time. If you need sero phone number let me know or dial *2 from the phone that's on the sero account. Remember you can only upgrade sero phones at sprint store or over phone at sero department. In the end you should be paying $199 plus $36 activation fee and with taxes depending on where you live it should be around $247. If your paying $40/month then add an extra $10 from then on. Reason I know is because I just upgraded a phone for a family member on sero. Hopefully this helps. Let us know what you find out.
By the way, your able to update on the website if you log on with your sero account but there's a chance the system may screw thing up. Your better off going into a store so this way if things don't look right you don't have to go through with the deal.

From an inside perspective. Sero 500 is currently 30 $ a month for Dumb phones. To use a smart phone you have to be on the Sero Premium 500 that is 40 $ a month. As well all know there is an additional 10 $ mrc for Premium Data. If you are currently paying 50 $ total a month on a WiMax device and upgrade to an LTE device online it will mention the 10 $ mrc. The SOC code for WiMax vs LTE is different and one will be dropped when the other is added.
The only 30 $ a month Smart Phone plan out there on Sprint is the Sprint Wireless Advantage Club "SWAC" accts. Its the SWAC 500. It still costs 40 $ in the end because of the 10 $ Premium Data. But non the less its 30 $ a month for 500 Anytime Mins and Unlimited everything else.

okay this is the part that is weird, I have the $40 + $10 plan (500 minutes, unlimited data), and on my log-in page, it shows that the phone is $299 + taxes + activation for my ugrade
went to amazon and its $199 upgrade (of course I know I cant use that link to do a employee referral upgrade
the issue I am having, is my local stores are telling me that they can't even access my account I have to call in, due to my account type ( I was hoping to "reserve in store" so I could just pick the phone up, I hate waiting for mail shipments)
amazon will let me upgrade, but I always get concerned with getting my account readjusted, back to my referral account over the phone with sprint. I have heard people do it, but some also hit brick walls
guess I will call the sero line direct, and take a shot that way,
thanks for the help guys
Sprint is so arbitrary these days, made a few calls today, and now they state, on three separate calls that since I have a referral account that the upgrade price is $299, and even over the phone all referral accounts also require the $36 activation fee
I even brought up the $100 difference with amazon, and all three reps stated that the upgrade price differential is due to the difference in the monthly rate.
Maybe I am too nice or something, as I keep getting screwed by sprint reps over the last few months
I mean at that price and tax, its basically $400, local Craigslist is $500, why go on contract for only $100 savings
Sorry for the rant

My bad, I priced the phone at the amazon price. Your right about the sprint price of $299 for sprint. One way to get $100 off the price is calling retention and asking them for a customer loyalty credit. I've gotten that credit for my last 2 upgrades. This way at least it's technically only 199. Good luck

[Q] T-Mobile S4 Price drop to $579.99

Hello, I noticed today that the retail price of T-Mobile's Galaxy S4 has dropped from $629.99 to $579.99. Is this going to be the new price and for how long? Or is this just the Fathers day discount price. Thanks

Hopefully it stays at $579.99, T-Mobile didn't have any -$50 comment on the price, so the SRP should be solid.

I just got off the phone with T Mobile customer service and asked about this and they told me it is a price drop and not a limited time promotional offer.
But TMoNews is now saying that it's a limited time offer that runs through July 13th. I have a feeling that the promotion was jus tworded poorly and even their customer service people didn't understand how it was originally intended.
Update from TMoNews (See post above for link)
This limited-time promotion is available starting today, June 12, through July 13, 2013, and allows consumers to get the device for less upfront at activation than at the other major national carriers.
Bear in mind that the $579 total cost is with the purchase of an eligible plan. I don't think you can just walk into a T Mobile store and buy one for $579 outright. But I did confirm with customer service that any of the new Value Plans are considered qualifying plans. And that's great for me because my contract expires on June 22nd and I'm switching to the Value Plan and buying the S4 that day!
Also, just worth noting for fun that when I got to that TMoNews.com article there is a giant ad for Sprint at the bottom. Gotta love web ads!

Spoke to account services (retention) about this and it is in fact only going on till July 13th and they cannot give me an adjustment. I would have to return the phone first then I can buy the phone again to get it for that price. It's really stupid if you ask me as it will probably take close to a month or more for me to get a credit and by then the offer will no longer be available. Any one else have any luck getting adjustments?
BTW when you guys call, immediately ask for retention or accounts services as anyone else do not have a clue about anything..specially customer service. Just lie and say you want to cancel or something in your account is wrong.

Did you pay for the phone with a major credit card?
Some cards come with price match guarentees even if the retailers don't. So that if something goes on sale after you bought it the card company or the bank that issues it will refund the difference even if the store won't.
It's certainly worth a call to your credit card company to ask. Worst they can say is no.
haha i got the phone on june 11 the next day the price drops $50 (thats how much tax was)
I called tmobile and they said I needed to return the phone and they would ship me a new one in 2-3 days for $579.00. That won't work as I can not be without a phone for that time. He said to go to store where I bought and they may be able to refund and re-ring at $579 and keep my phone. Will post tomorrow outcome.

$549 here:

Weird NBC sells phones now. Not a bad deal at all.
This doesn't apply to prepaid does it? The reason I ask is that I don't have a valid ID with which to perform a credit check in order to qualify for the "value plans" to buy the phone post-paid.
I hope I can go to T-Mobile and buy the GS4 for this price and then put it on their $30 prepaid. Has anyone found out if this price is only for their postpaid or if I can buy the phone outright and then use it on prepaid?
Thanks

Curious to this outcome. Mine said if I brought it back I would have to pay a $50 restocking fee. The kid on the phone was a real D-bag.

I'm pretty sure you have to get a post paid plan to get the lower price. The offer is pretty clear that is applies with the qualifying plans.
But I'm also sure a T Mobile store will gladly sell you one for full price and set you up with a pre paid plan.
Sent from your phone. You should be careful where you leave that thing.

I had planned to buy the phone online or over the phone. Who knows, maybe I can try and negotiate my way to the $580 for the phone and a $30 prepaid plan.

YMMV, some people have be enable to and others struck out. Try several tmobile stores in your area. Call first to save time and get their name.

Phone listed at $580 on their website, see if u can buy and select $30 prepaid plan the same time. If not see if you can buy online phone, order activation sim kit, and activate plan online when u get sim card.

Store could not do it because postpaid account in which phone was bought was closed since I ported to prepaid $30 plan. Called tmobile customer service and spoke w supervisor. She could not honor price difference since they change prices daily and do not price match within 30 days of purchase date. The don't even match their own price. May try online chat later tonight as last attempt. Something does not sound right here? Any suggestions??

the store then said they didnt sell them for the discounted price so sry....
called another store in a nearby town, they said sure we have it for the new price.
WTF
called back to the original store and they said sry ... come down with your reciept.
got off work ... went home got reciept.. drove to store (yesterday) and they said.. oh sry you already did an exchange (bad phone) you need a manager. I say sure wheres a manager.. they said you need to come back before 5.. oh and by the way tomorrow is your last day (30 days ).
sooooo come back today... and they are like we need to exchange the phone... im like seriously... just try without exchanging first please.

wow you went to hell and back for that discount. Glad you got it. I bought mine online so calling retention is my only option.

I feel like there will be a 5G version released for T-Mobile, but no idea when.
Just check out the drop-down list for the devices that can be unlocked here: https://www.oneplus.com/unlock_token

Saw that this morning. Already planning to return my 7T to T-Mobile now, but unfortunately I'm getting hit with a restocking fee. Bit of a learning experience with that though as seems if you order from them over the phone or online there's no restocking fee, but in store there is.

I still may settle for the 7t depending on the price of the McLaren, but I am definitely going to check it out
The 5g coverage is going to most likely be poor till mid year next year (even though tmo says end of this year) so to me, it doesn't seem worth it for that much money, potentially 999

You need to call 611 and complain about the restock fee because if tmo would have told you there was a 5g version coming out you would have waited.
Complain about the upgrade fee too. That's 20+50restock, 70 bucks you just got stolen!

Yup same here picked up my 7t on the 18th since they didn't have the 7 pro anymore. If I would have known that the 7t pro was coming I would have waited l'm sure am going to get hit with the restocking fee as will.

611 ended up agreeing to $25 of goodwill, but they wouldn't do the full amount. I'm on Jump, so I don't believe I have a $20 upgrade fee.
My company is covering the cost of my device, so the potentially high price of the 7T Pro doesn't really phase me.
I'm kinda confused about this. The three (UK) website seems to say that it is 5g ready as does John lewis'. However the specs on the OnePlus site seems to contradict this.
